regalregal2:With no letter?? Except the person has his own money to sponsor himself in his account or family and friends contributions. |
Gaily04:Of course you can start saving for transport, visa charges etc. NDDC is only giving you award letter, stipulating the amount. They will pay directly to your school's account and the balance will be given to you when you get to your school I think. That is y people look for cheaper schools so that they can have some substantial amount for their upkeep. |
Good mrn all. Any latest information? I guess they have rounded up the interview process now. |
Here is a few tips for those that are yet to be interviewed. First when you get in, do not move the seat. Sit down when you are asked to seat down. Know about current affairs, like acronyms; NEPAD, GCON, etc. They can ask you any thing. Names of seas, Lakes, female senators, ministers etc. For those going for PhD, know your topic very well and the relevance to Niger Delta, your methodology, equipment you will be using etc. I wish all of us the very best and we shall get the very best in Jesus name. Amen. I did mine on the 27th of May, from Ondo State, PhD category. God bless you all. Just trust God and not your abilities. |
First of all, I want to congratulate those of us shortlisted for the interview. I wish everyone the very best. Put in your best and note, it is not a do or die affair, just try your best. Some of us have displayed professionalism in the manner we conduct ourselves. Thumbs up. I got a lot of information from this tread regarding the scholarship process. Thank you all that have contributed meaningfully on this thread. For those hoarding information, that is not the best way to progress in life. You lose NOTHING by sharing but you gain all. I went to one of the best schools in the UK for my masters (2009) and ever since then I have pursued a PhD which I got but funding has always been a challenge and I believe this is the last time , for I will get the scholarship this time around. I am from Ondo, scored 37 and I am scheduled for 1pm on the 27th of May, 2015 for my interview. For our colleagues that scored high and have not gotten an invite, I pray you get, don't quit in your fight. For those from Ondo, that scored high and have not been invited, you can come at this date or before to voice your complain. God bless you all. |
