@Lizcom25: You're allowed to change your mind, you however need to get in touch with Dr Fagbohun that there has been a change of plan.At the POE , your wife just needs to demonstrate she's able to pay for the services she's seeking, that's if she ever get asked.

For the records, i'm sure this comparison will never cease, as these two hospitals are the ones favoured on this thread the most. I'll like to say that people should come here and post 'specifics' of their experiences wherever they used, and leave the ultimate decision to individuals. This is naija, you only know of yourself, you can be giving a valid review of a place, that doesn't say that someone else giving a review of the same place isn't doing so for something in return. Mind you, if one delivers in Cleveland Clinics, doesn't mean the child will be the best or that there's no perinatal mortality there; what we all want is good health for mothers and babies. I won't say this comparison should stop, cos I know naturally it will and we'll move on to something else. Most if not all hospitals operated in the US follows international best practises, so your choice is based on preference and a host of other things.
If we all decide not to share experiences like some have threatened, too bad; people will not always see things your way, that in itself should make us all take the 'chill pill'.
TGIF!

@Varvara: the letter or email correspondence contains the date of appointment with the financial Counsellor and that of the Doctor's appointment and time. It's usually for the first appointment, that's about all contained in the letter.

@Stepedie: I think the letter should be typed, it'll look official.Besides it's gonna be on the letter headed paper of whatever hospital you using, i'm sure no hospital will want to give you something of such.
@Skinydudu: as earlier mentioned, when you're ready, just send a mail to the embassy, and you'll get the automated response, and that should do for the purpose of POE.
@dakotchic: crossland seems to be the most pocket friendly, and alot of folks I'm here seems to go there, you can try on this line +1 888-844-0952.
Best wishes.

Hello everyone, let's keep the thread going, and hopefully we'll get to the pace we left off, and we hope there'll be no further attacks on nairaland.
For those that needs email confirmation from MIHS, you can call the women's clinic on +1 602-344-5407, you should be able to get through on that.
Cheers!
