Politics / Re: Jonathan Sets-Up Amnesty Committee For Boko-Haram by Nollywoodivas: 4:53pm On Apr 17, 2013
Abok1:
I m trying so hard not to conclude that the president doesn't have a good advisory team. The sensible thing to do would have been establishing contacts withy the Boko haram guys, then identifying their leaders. Then the next phase should be knowing what their demands are then negotiating with them before making it public.

Not the way he's going about it, because it is appalling that the presidency would act without proper coordination and calculated attempts. The Boko boys have stated that they are not interested in amnesty, I'm wondering what we are still doing setting up committee after committee for no relevant reason.

Strange that will all the billions of dollars at their disposal they dont have somebody to advice them like this... Truly sad

Celebrities / Re: Highest Paid Nigerian Actresses & Their Fees Per Movie by Nollywoodivas: 5:23pm On Apr 09, 2013
Dahbutter: THIS IS a BIG @SS LIE! I know producers who use these actresses in a lot of their movies and pay them faaar faar less.
In fact I know of two star studded movies with a total budget of N825,000 for everything, including set, location, costumes, transportation, food etc. So tell me how much do the artists get paid?
make una dey there make them dey deceive you. these guys are NOT paid that much except if its a foreign feature

This info is also not correct... Take it from an insider, even the Location, Props, Welfare, Costumes, Camera would gulp more than a million... So even if the stars are your friend and do it for you free (which nobody does) the money is still above the amount you mention.. Its an info you can find out yourself... Find out how much Camera cost per day x how many days they wanna shoot, you will have an Idea

Sugarbear007: People are always talking about how much musicians and footballers earn and it’s expected.
However an intense research conducted shows that female Nigerian actresses aren’t doing to bad for themselves either.

This is a list of the top 15 highest paid actresses per script.
15. Uche Jumbo N450,000
14. Fathia Balogun N500,000
13. Mercy Johnson N600,000
12. Funke Akindele N600-700,000
11. Oge Okoye. N600.000
10. Chioma Chukwuka N700,000
9. Rita Dominic. N1m
8. Ngozi Ezeonu. N1m
7. Joke Silver N1m
6. Stella Damasus. N1m>
5. Kate Henshaw Nuptal N1m
4. Omotola Jolade. N1.5m>
3. Patience Ozonkwo N1.6m
2. Ini Edo N1.8m
1. Genevieve Nnanji N2m

Very wrong an incorrect info. For one Patience Ozokwu is not considered an A-list (though she is superb) she does not make more than Mercy Johnson... All the A-list collect about the same amount (except they know you personally) A-List are Genny, Omotola, Mercy, Rita...etc

In recent times Charlie boy has generated more negative press than he had hoped for. Every photograph he releases to the public generates a loud cry, with so many hurling insults at him and calling him all sorts of names. But what many did not http://nollywoodivas..nl/2013/04/charlie-boy-and-wifes-occult-affiliation.html

The sad part is they are just out to trick this man cos these terrorist never said they were tired of their evil acts. For you to discuss Amesty, it means the people are sorry for their wrong doings and are ready for peace and then you grant Amesty ... But nobody ever grants Terrorist Amesty because they are blood sucking Evil that has no agenda whatsoever they just love killing innocent people thats all

smile4kenn: I feel so honored to be the first comment. All of my hard work and dedication has paid off. Getting the top comment has been a dream of mine for many years, and I would like to thank those who have helped me along the way. First and foremost I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity. Next, I would like to thank my girlfriend. She had been patience with me while I attempt to make the top comment. I would also like to thank my pet tadpole for surviving against all odds for over a week. Next I would like to thank the squirrel that lives in my backyard for climbing trees because that gives me inspiration that I need to get through the day to make the top comment. This is a special moment in my life and I would like to thank any of my unmentioned friends and family that have helped me along the way. This moment will be a moment that I will never forget. I just remembered a few other people I will like to thank; Facebook, my light in my room bc i wouldn’t be able to see the keyboard without it, the internet for letting me go on nairaland, my house because without it I would be homeless, and last but not least I would like to thank all the people out there that actually took time out of their day to read this. I cannot stress how much of a big deal to me this is. I have been trying to be the first comment on a post for years, but that has not been possible until this amazing day. Hopefully my good luck will continue, but this is undoubtedly a rare occasion. If you asked me how I did this, I would say, you can achieve anything u set your mind on. To all the nairalanders out there reading this, I would like to tell them to follow their dreams. Being the first comment is amazing, thank you everyone.

Wow! never read anything like this before grin grin
