you submitted your application u went on to withdrew below that £5200 then IF the embassy
finds out your visa will be refused.

Since I've been withdrawing it has not gone below 1,410,000 naira, nd I am required to show dat I have £5,200. Is it okay?

I can confirm that those numbers on the BHC website are just there to fool you all. I have seen people who submitted in September and gotten visas and they are saying they are still treating Aug 22nd. The lady even told me i'm a liar even when I have set my eyes on the visas, seems to me they are uk vac reps and they just calculate based on date you submitted. When i called i was not even asked for any reference number.

First of all I thank God cos I got my visa on Thursday (10 Sept) which was surprising cos I applied on 1 Sept. This means it only took 4 working days as I actually got the sms notification on 9 Sept. I applied thru PFL (free promo) so naturally I thought that was why it was that quick. However, a couple of my friends who used PFL too and applied a good 2 weeks before I did are yet to get theirs. Meanwhile, a friend of mine got his notification on 9 Sept and we applied on the same day (he did not use an agent). [b]I suspect there's a certain relationship b/w paying your fees in full and getting your sms real fast as everybody I know who got theirs real early had made full payments.[/b]That said, who's going to Bradford?

just went there and the only thing i could take from the news is simply that they are trying to still meet the 15 working day mark which for me is crap since i will be on day 17 by tomorrow.

Boy this is crazy, just sitting and waiting.

@All, I called d BHC office today asking dem about dis our Tier 4(general student) visa application processing stuff nd how long it takes them to process it.

The woman that answered me said they are trying their best to process and verify d documents.
She said the number of days a Tier 4 student application processing will take may be longer than d 15 working days expected.

Nd that what determines the number of working days it takes is the verification and the number of applications they have to process, nd this verification is based on individual documents, that is why some people get their visa earlier than others that submitted before them.

She also said as of today (8th of Sept. 2011), lemme quote her "as of today for d tier 4(general student visa), we are currently working on those that applied on the 16th of August".

So there is no cause for alarm. We all just have to continue waiting nd praying dat God will make dem to give us d visa & also issue us d visa in due time.
Patience is the key, hope this helps to reduce d tension.

They will use the exchange rate of the day u submitted your application, if the exchange rate
changes while u visa is still being processed then you will not be held responsible for that.
Withdrawing below the required amount will only affect u IF the embassy got to know that.

Hi guys, I was here last year actually. I got my Student visa last year around this time. Actually, I did a foundation programme in Uni. Glamorgan last year and I will be needing a visa extension to continue my degree ( which i will finish in three years) No, I already read the visa extension pages on the UKBA website and it said I will be needing to show my full fees for my first year + maintenance funds for only two months ( which is equivalent to 1200 pounds since I'm outside the London Boroughs) I'm sure of this but I need to be extra sure. My current visa expires in October this year and I'll be submitting my application on Thursday after the holiday. (+ I completed my foundation programme just three months ago)
