I think more attention will be given to probing and restructuring the NNPC by the incoming administration, I doubt if the recruitment continues as planned! |
B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G: APC warns against last minute recruitment http://www.punchng.com/news/apc-warns-against-last-minute-looting-hurried-recruitment/?hootPostID=ceaebf5099a1a90d6a513de370baa006 |
APC warns against last-minute looting, hurried recruitment The All Progressives Congress has decried the reported allegations of last-minute looting of the nation’s resources, hurried recruitment into the public service and rushed privatisation of key financial institutions by the Goodluck Jonathan administration. It warned on Sunday that such “egregious actions” would have serious repercussions. In a statement in Lagos by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said apart from the instances of such cases that had been reported by the local media, it had been inundated with calls and messages. APC said while the Jonathan administration remains in office till midnight of May 28, and governance in the country would not stop because a new President had been elected, it was incumbent upon the outgoing administration not to create more problems for the incoming government, or to “tie the new government’s hands” through suspicious actions. The party explained that while it is true that the incoming Muhammadu Buhari administration would not get itself bogged down by an endless probe of the activities of the Jonathan administration, all actions taken since the result of the March 28 presidential election was announced, might come under the searchlight.... ”Also, there have been reports, yet to be refuted, of a planned, hurried recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service, after a previous attempt ended in a national tragedy and the fleecing of innocent job seekers by the mindless Federal Government officials. Apart from the fact that this last-minute recruitment is suspect, it is irregular. ”The Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board is only empowered to recruit, promote and discipline only senior officers (Levels 8 and above). The power to recruit, promote and discipline junior officers is vested in the different services, in this case, the Nigeria Immigration Service. ”Therefore, the recruitment exercise now being conducted by the Federal Civil Service, under the auspices of the Presidential Committee to Assist on Immigration Recruitment, usurps the functions of the Board as it relates to recruitment of Senior Officers (Level 08) and that of the Immigration Service as it relates to Junior Officers (levels 07 and below).” http://www.punchng.com/news/apc-warns-against-last-minute-looting-hurried-recruitment/?hootPostID=ceaebf5099a1a90d6a513de370baa006 |

Djbaka: @Dpress: Nice work you've done here, but it seems you did not consider the fact that the Exercise question stipulated that the torch CANNOT be tossed back across the bridge. Also, shinning the torch for them looks a little bit unfeasible because the bridge might not be straight ahead, and besides, the torch might be shinning on their faces making difficult for them to see further forward. You might want to device another means.i had a lowest of 14mins. Let me put d step maybe someone can help trim it down further: Audu(1min) and Amaka(2min) cross=2mins down. Audu(1min) crosses back with the torch=1min down Adeyinka(5mins) and Adesuwa(7mins) cross=7mins down Amaka(2mins) crosses back with d torch = 2mins down Audu(1min) and Amaka(2mins) finally cross the bridge = 2mins down. Total time=14mins. I think this is the lowest time within wich d crossing can be achieved given d conditions. |
Zelinjo: Audu can't cross to meet them (to collect the torch) without a torchyeah Zelinjo, you r right! It escaped my mind!! Crossing successfully under d given conditions is only possible in 14 mins, NEVER in 12mins! |
airsaylongcon: For the group work, it is crucial to have some kind of team structure and leadership o! At my only AC experience, we just kept rambling and rambling without heading in any direction. Disaster. Group work exercise is not really about the loquacious. I believe it is about making meaningful contributions, accepting superior ideas while tactfully turning down weak ones. And open your mouth and talk!!! I was forming posh intellectual boy...the outcome nobi here |

thegreatman4ww: Real fact, my friend whose wife works in fbn confirmed dat briefly while we are discussing this night. FBN na 80% connection things ooo. I advice u not to put much hope on it though they will still invites few others who performed well but the probability is scanty.why will dey waste so much funds conducting a nation-wide ability test then? Why wount dey just tell their workers to bring any person they felt is good for interview? That's shear nonsense if its a fact. They put in a lot of funds just 2 do a test like d one dey did. |
Just got my invitation too...my venue is Kd but havn't got the verification slip in my mail!!! |
We are proud of you Prof......I pray you win the nobel prize too... |
