Well we Nigerians dont usually have precise knowledge about fuel consumption what a bunch care about is 4plugs, 6plugs. Its a 4plugs/16valve compact car. You should compare consumption with an unserviced (2003-2007) Toyota Corolla. Poor wheel design you can't increase its tire unlike a Corolla, this uses 14rim 15 won't even work but you can use a fatter tire. But this model was probably shipped in fron the USA cus it has dual airbags. Whereas the Korean-Naija version has none/basic. So the US version is premium and would definitely be heavier. Higher fuel consumption.

Once I'm home I will recheck these things you mentioned.

The fuel consumption is about 3.4 gallons to 100 miles which may equal roughly 13 litres to 160km...so you can spend 13 litres from Lagos to Ibadan. The car has a 1.8L engine so what you don't get in speed, torque and power, you can get in fuel efficiency.

Concerning the tyre, I agree that they are usually small. I'll suggest you get average sized tyres. Bigger sized tyre will lift the car but you probably won't get a smooth and stable drive. I think you can ask your nearby vulcanizer or other people that are more knowledgeable for a suitable size of tyres.
