Ain't the chat already private? Are you saying we've been having a non private chat on BBM all along? I just don't get this.

The difference is that the new private chat destroys itself immediately you leave it. No name is shown,and it is self destructive.

Very true bro. Ability to send files is exclusive to bbm. That's one major advantage.

How do you go about the private chat cos I cant find one on my phone despite just updating the BBM to latest version from playstore. I only saw a mask like that of the movie starred by Antonio Banderas and when I clicked on it, it shows message prompting the receiver that he or she should upgrade his BBM before using the private chat

You can only have a private chat with someone using the latest version of the app. The old version doesn't have the feature, that's the reason.

People that buy it don't use it for phones. It's probably better as harddrive. Mini hard drive.

The new bbm app has been released, and as usual blackberry has tried to incorporate some new features to the app that wasn't there before. Now,you get to change your dp in a different way,make updates differently, and the new private chat feature it included.

Is bbm going to ever be better than Whatsapp? Let's see pictures...

Hot note pro is 8mp,not 13mp. It's the phone I'm using. Check your file manager,if It's 25gig,then It's a hot note pro. There's nothing like pro written on the body,so use ur head.

The only difference between a hot note and pro is the ram and rom memory.

You can just get screen lock on playstore, it does the same thing.

Please i don't know whether its only me experiencing this, the phone screen goes off especially after receiving a call or dialling a number, I had a bad experience this morning as the phone screen went off for almost an hour, so frustrating. Please what can I do, I love everything about the phone but the screen going off is making me sick, though it still rings out but i can't pick the call as the screen goes off but the phone is still working with no screen display, somebody help me out, I ordered it from jumia though.

I have experiecing this since i bought the phone

Proximity sensor. Seems yours is excessive tho. After the call It's supposed to stop. It detects when you put the phone close to your ear and closes the screen,but it should come up after the call.

Anyway,go to settings,display,and disable anti inadvertently mode. Maybe It's interfering.

Download supervpn from playstore, connect it,then open bbm again. It happened to me. On Mtn.

It was happening to me,so I went to my access point settings,cleared my proxy and port to make them blank,then I downloaded a free vpn on playstore.
Just connect the vpn,open your bbm,and flex.
