First of all let me correct an impression. Colleges are not for only people with 2’2 and below. Most people choose colleges because it avails lots of hands-on experience and high technical proficiency, which may be limited at the Universities.
However, colleges are easier to get admissions.

Then for Universities, there’s the taught-based and thesis-route Master’s; so it depends on what you seek.
When you opt for most of the thesis-route programs, you may get funding. Some taught Master’s also offer funding.

Now what is the challenge with universities as opposed to colleges?

The admissions at the University are HIGHLY Competitive.

So if your leg strong, put body.

As for me I’ll advise you look forward to fall 2024.
- work on yourself; get extra research/educational skills
- revamp your CV.
- Work on your SOP
- Research on different programs of interest and entry requirements; reach out to the grad Coordinators.
- Get strong letters of recommendation.
- Have a budget (very important).

Depends on you. With your grades you should be eligible for most universities but colleges do tend to be cheaper with more lenient requirements. Regardless going for a college as opposed to a university doesn't harm your chances of getting a study permit.

Please I need advise, I am a newbie here and about starting the whole admission process against January 2024. I graduated with a 2'1. I wanted to apply at Fanshaw and Humber college for a PG program but someone told me that I shouldn't because it is for those with 2'2 and below that I should look for universities to apply to instead.
I don't know how true this is and that's why I came to this platform for advise and help.

My school keeps insisting that the deadline for my course is 3rd October even after sending several mails and explaining that there are no available flights to switch my already booked flight to.
I booked for 3rd of October after I picked up my Visa on the 22nd of September and I am to arrive on the 4th, I shared the ticket with them but they keep insisting, I need advise on what to do as they are insisting on withdrawing the CAS on the deadline and informing UKVI of the withdrawn CAS on that 3rd. cry cry
Pls guys who has the contact of any agent that can help me o

The major issue is that I am not even seeing flights to book, I have been trying to check but no one to book, I have even spoken to some agents and they haven't been able to see any flight.
I am just so so devastated, I don't know what to do

You better look for money and buy another ticket. Trust me, they will withdraw your CAS and that will not be a pleasant situation. Forget the ticket you have bought and buy another one - even if you need to fly out from Abuja or Ghana. Just ensure you arrive in the school before the deadline. Delay is dangerous

Have you tried sending a paid mail or doing a paid call? I did mine on the same day at TLS Ikeja and I have gotten collection mail for both my dependent and I.

Try sending a paid mail or do a paid call, I also did on the 25th of August at Ikeja(standard). I did a paid mail yesterday and got a mail today that decision has been made.
I think you should do same.

So, tell her to wait and pray for the NSF mail.

She did her IHS and Visa payment on the 4th of August, she uploaded her documents on the 16th of August, her biometrics was on the 25th of August. She said the bank statement she uploaded was from 15th July to 15th August cos she thought the biometric date was the application date.
Is there a cause for alarm please?

Please if someone mistakenly uploaded a short dated statement of account and only noticed after biometrics has been done, is there any other way to get the correct statement across to UKVI? She has been soooo worried.

Yeah, it is true,like the person said,priority visa is only for main applicant, I did my biometric today and they said the priority Visa pay was just for me and doesn't cover my husband.

Please I need advise guys, I was able to finally book TB test date for 21st June but while filling, I entered Number of family member as "1" thinking that they were asking the number of persons coming for the test with me only to find out after booking that I should have filled "2" since I want my husband to come with me.
Please is it possible for him to still come along that same day for the test irrespective of me booking for just myself

You have to go to their office and have it done. They already have your details in their database so any attempt to register will not go through. It happened to me too. When you get to their office, tell them you are here to make enquiries. They will fix it for you and book you for the closest available date.

Yes they give automatic discount, I have an offer for September intake and I got 2500 discount bringing my fees to 10900.
