ghastly accident including House of Rep. occurs along Abuja-Lokojo Highway on Thursday, August 23, 2018.

The accident which calm the lives of three people while five others sustained serious injuries, among the five sustainers, Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, House of Representatives aspirant for Etsako Federal Constituency, Edo State happens to be one of them.

The former deputy-director of Buhari Support Organizations (BSO) Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, narrated that the accident was caused by the reckless driving of a Scania Truck and Mack Tanker who in their ignorance act were trying to overtake each other thereby causing a serious scene along the road, this incident was catalyzed by the bad state of the road.

MEAT: SURPRISING THINGS THAT HAPPEN WHEN YOU EAT MUCH

It’s a nice idea to take protein always and at the right proportion in respect to time especially meat.

Meats like beef, poultry, pork and others are very important to the body and most important when it comes to balance diet.


From researches, women can have about 5 ounces, while men can have about 6 ounces per day.

However, there are dangers attached to it if it is taken beyond the required portion and in this article I will be listing most of what excess intake of meat does to the body.


1. INCREASE IN BODY WEIGHT
Body system have the accurate percentage of protein calories to be taken per specific interval of time and protein have 4 calories per gram, when the required gram or protein calories is taken in excess (more than the required quantity or quality) it stores in the body as fat when the amino acid is extracted thereby increases the weight of the body.


2. IT WEAKEN THE BONE

Calcium is one of the most important minerals in the body, its helps in improving and repairing bones and teeth, taking excess protein in the body burns and reduces the calcium in the body, calcium in the urine (Urinary calcium) and also causes Hypocalcaemia (low level of calcium in the blood).


3. BODY ODOR

Body odor is the unpleasant smell that comes from certain parts of the body, it can be caused by many ways which high intake of protein is one of them. Excess protein affects the apocrine glands (a glands responsible for body scent through sweat), when apocrine glands is high in protein it causes the bacteria to easily break it down when leads to unpleasant smell in the areas where it is located like the armpits, back ear, breasts, genital areas and more.


4. DEHYDRATION

Increase in protein required more quantity of water that usual, it’s good to drink plenty water throughout the day but when the protein in the body increases the intake of water should also increase. This is important because the kidney produce more urine which also means that excess water will be flushed out of the body.


5. IT CAUSES KIDNEY PROBLEM

Following the continuation of how high protein causes dehydration and how kidney produces more urine to flush out excess salt and waste in the body, if enough water is not taken for the kidney to function well for the day, it gives the kidney double work to do on getting excess waste out of the body through urine. On a good day, it is advisable to drink plenty of water but with the high level of proteins in the body it is advisable to drink more than plenty of water in other not to get your kidney in problem, water is like a fuel to the body organs especially the kidney.


6. INCREASE RISK OF CANCER

It is advisable not to eat more than 700 gram of meat if you really care about your health on cancer, meats affects cancer risk due to the chemicals formed during the digestion process. It is advisable for patients battling with cancers should take fish instead of meat.
From researches, high meat intake leads to high exposure to cancer.

7. IT INCREASES BODY CHOLESTEROL

Since high intake protein in the body turns to fats after amino acid is extracted, it increases the cholesterol of the body to a higher level which might also damage the heart, eating too much quantity of meats increases the risk of heart diseases.


8. BAD BREATH

Protein causes bad breath when the percentage is more than that of carbohydrate, bad breath which is not cause by the dental is likely caused by diet. It is caused by sugarless substance in the body which protein is one of them, protein has low or no sugar at all while carbohydrate is full of sugar.
When you take protein only or it is in high proportion to carbohydrate it causes bad breath.


9. ERECTION DISORDER IN MEN

Foods that are high in protein especially meat can cause erection disorder and might leads to importance. Due to the high cholesterol and other related disease or effect caused by excess meat intake, erectile dysfunction is 90% rampant among men. It is advisable for men to eat less meat or protein in general to avoid this problem.


10. INCREASE IN RISK OF DEATH

With all above mentioned diseases and effect caused by excess protein (high cholesterol, obesity, prostate cancer, erection disorder, heart disease and more) in the body, it is quite obvious that if proper care is not taken or if continuation of excess protein persist, it might later claim your life.

You know in 2015, there was a lot of tension before the main elections; it was as if Nigeria was going to break, in fact, there will be tension everywhere but along the line, the storm will just disappear. There is something you have to learn about Nigeria, they can shout but are afraid to die.

How is "Edo mode of dressing not really that different from that of Igbos" like you postulated? Anyone can tell Edo and Igbo ceremonial dressing apart on any given day. Even casually they don't really dress alike either.

3. ISOKO


Isoko tribe is located in Delta State and its one of the richest tribe in Nigeria, they are sometimes classified as Urobo but they are different, they are also one of the most fashionable tribe in Nigeria. Their dressing style is like that of the Igbos but with little differences. Their men mostly put on shirts and hat with wrappers or trousers, holding fashion walking stick styling their dressing with beads which makes that look royal every time while their women put on expensive blouse, wrapper, double head-tie and beads.


4. EDO


Edo is also a famous tribe in Nigeria. They are located in the southern part of the country. They also make up the list of the top fashionable tribes in Nigeria. They mostly use bead more than other tribes in Nigeria, their men’s caps are made of beads with big beaded bangles on their wrists with a very long necklace make of bead, same thing goes with the women of the tribes, their crown are made of beads also and they hardly use headtie, they tie long wrapper from their armpit to their legs using bead like craft to cover their shoulder in a fashioned manner.

5. IJAW

IT CAUSES EYE’S DISEASE

When you spend so much hours on laptop or phone and exposed your eyes to too much of blue light it might cause an eye a disease called Computer vision syndrome, and symptoms are eyes tiredness, dry eyes, headaches, blurry vision, unable to focus on things and more.


FATIGUED IN THE EYE MUSCLES

Blue light weaken the eye muscle when you constantly stare at laptop for a long time, the eye muscles are to be put together when it focus on an object, now imagine when it does that for a very long period of time. The blue light makes the weakness faster.
It’s just like holding up to something for a very long time, you get tired and weak and it get faster when you are under the sun.

This simply means that when you are working on laptops and phones, you should take 20 minutes break, for 20 seconds and starring up at something which is 20 feet away from where you are, this rule is perfect and have been working fine for people how put it into consideration.

Research shows that blinking rate decreases when you focus too long on what you are doing, and blinking is very important because it wets the eyeballs when dried, but when it’s not take into practices it causes the blurry, reddish and pains of the eyes.
