ImperialYoruba:
I dont give a fck if you are Yoruba or Hausa, an Italian Maria can be displaced in honor of a sitting President. The Governor made that choice. Stop crying over it.

Go to VI in Lagos, all the streets and boulevard used to be foreigners, some are still, but many have been replaced to honor home grown politicians. Ribadu Rd, Ozumba Mbadiwe Rd, Awolowo Rd, Adetokunbo Ademola Rd.

Go to Kano and see Church Street, Ibo Rd, Yoruba Rd, Niger Rd, Port Harcourt Rd.

Go to Ibadan, go to Abuja, go to Kaduna.

Why is Ibos always making noise and demanding exemptions from rules that others follow without complaint or noise?

GyitOuttaHeer!
Maria Assumpta Cathedral is not only the greatest man-made strucure in old Owerri, and perhaps still so in modern Owerri and therefore is of monumental historical significance to Owerri people in particular and Imo State in general but it is also a CATHOLIC edifice of a 'world heritage' status.

Stop tribalising. It's a religious matter

APC and free things. I don't blame them sha.

Instead of putting their head down they'll be offering free akara, free fuel.

And Nigerians will foolishly jubilate.

Too much oyibo movie. The greatest mistake the black man will make is to believe that he can practice whatever happens in Oyinbo movie.

I heard the story of one black man who thought wrestling was real and ended up killing someone with DDT.

Enough is enough, how long shall we condone incompetence and gross failure.

If APC can accomplish 100 degree's of failure in less than 3years, how much disaster will it inflict in 4years?
100 degree ke? I was thinking 360.

I can assure the people that a day or two after the yuletide, the queue will ease out. The marketers created the scarcity but we have engaged all the relevant stakeholders and we are confident that it will soon normalise.

“We are not thinking about increase in the pump price. We have not discussed it and we will not increase the price” he said, adding that panic buying was unwarranted as there was much product available.

The country needs sanity but if Buhari tries half ofbthe things he did in1984 to control it, this soft unintelligent generation will go into mass complaint.

The worst thing would be to vote someone like Atiku now. We will give Buhari till 2023. If you dontnlume this statement well you have no other choice.
One more thing, Buhari did not revive the economy in 1984. He caused a recession by taking the exact same steps he took back then. Which is why he's known as the double recessionist.

I don't know why a lot of people will mortgage their future for 30k stipend. Your children will be born in this mess that you guys are supporting so I nor dey worry. We are in it together.

He will win second term.
He did not invent fuel scarcity. It started with IBB/Abacha and was elevated to high art during PDP.

The GEJ regime temporarily controlled it in one of the most corrupt, wholesale robbery operations the third world has ever seen and we must not have it again.

Nigeria's problems are too fundamental for 4 years to solve. The problem may even be too much capitalism and free market. People are parasitic, lazy, wicked, anxious and desperate.

Everybody looks at his personal issues, family financial problem, gets desperate and goes out to commit legal or moral crimes - fuel hoarding, kidnapping, armed robbery, prostitution, yahoo yahoo, money rituals, human trafficking.

The country needs sanity but if Buhari tries half ofbthe things he did in1984 to control it, this soft unintelligent generation will go into mass complaint.

This is another silly talk. Do you add errors to the errors you are correcting?

How can you say you are heading by road to Lagos from Benin but you entered a bus going to Abuja?

Stop supporting rubbish. It is evident to all that this govt is going in the wrong direction while claiming to be going in the right direction.

It is not about me. Just be careful what you type in a forum of over three million people. Don't think that because you are hiding under a moniker you are anonymous. You'll be surprised the amount of business that were initiated or concluded on this forum. Or jobs vacancies filled. It is huge. People have met here as strangers and become friends for life. I've met wonderful people here. I can tell you that I don't need government patronage, nor jobs nor handout. And I am not abusive to strangers.

It so sad that many of the posts up there are filled with insults and sentiments.

Nigerians have a right to criticize both the past and present administrations for the different fuel scarcities they have experienced.

Are you expecting me to apologize for criticizing GEJ just because the same situation is happening now?

Not totally true.

The Police or EFFC can arrest anyone without a warrant, but they must charge that individual to court within 48hrs or release them.

If they intend keeping that individual beyond 48rs without officially charging them, they must ask the leave of a competent court to do so.

You must be mixing search warrant with arrest warrant.
Yes but you can't simply keep arresting and releasing without a charge. It becomes harassment. He can sue the EFCC if they continue along that path.

The EFCC cannot charge him to court because they lack sufficient evidence. All they can do is rattle him to get a confession but that in itself is not enough as he can claim he confessed under duress.
