Only after series of public protests by Israeli communists did the Israeli government decide to start sending humanitarian aid only to Biafra.

Israel was still an active military ally to Nigeria after 1968.


Nigeria was the number 1 anti communist and anti Zionist state in Africa from independence. The Nigerian Parliament had passed several resolutions denouncing both communism and the ongoing heist of Palestine. This was not a unanimous decision , as Ibo Parliamentarians voted against such resolution.
