BloomingDale:Who voted Tinubu? Bloomingdale don't let me call you an Ohu for I know you are not one |
mycar:Ohu, Emefile's exchange rate was not realistic. |
Courtesy of that bastard Emefile who printed over #30 trillion naira from thin air to float the dissatrous bandit government of Buhari. |
tishbite42:So Ojukwu had the power of life over death in that stinkhole Biafra . How did Nzeagwu and Ojukwu's brother Tom Bigger got Ojukwu to issue a General Order that both men who were officers in the Biafran army not be accorded respect or any form of military command? Your Ojukwu was a pissed paranoid drunk throughout the war. The goat was constantly pushing his officers and men into suicide missions while he hid under his luxury bunker sipping whiskey and fcking your grand aunts. The idiot never smelt any combat but was quick to accuse others of cowardice or sabotage. When shit was getting hot, he boarded a plane with suitcase loads of cash confiscated from your foolish grandparents who were foolish enough to exchange their Nigerian pound notes for Ojukwu's useless Biafra pounds. When Awolowo found out and did a currency redesign, the philandering coward became piss broke in Abidjan were he was hiding out like the coward that he is. The greatest tragedy of the civil war was commonsense which your foolish grandparents all lacked. Ohus |
Razgas:As I said, I am not in the position to decide for Delta Ibos if they want to stay or leave but if it was down to me I will have them expelled from Delta let them go have their own state as I see them returning back to their madness by supporting Biafraism. I will rather have them out of Delta because I know that the only reason you ohu pigs from across the river are pushing for Delta Ibos to be included in your ohu assembly is so that you can use them as a foothold to get to the southern Delta parts where the wealth is. So, in hindsight , I will prefer Delta Ibos be given their state so that what is transpiring in Rivers with you ohus using ikweres to claim the entire state will not be replicated in the non Ibo speaking parts of Delta. |
PrinceOfLagos:Ohu,then go back to your cursed yeast. |
LegendHero:Go and claim it then. |
LegendHero:You hate the people but claim the land is Ibo . Foolish land Thief. |
PrinceOfLagos:Ohu |
Jcoleworld911:I have no problem with today's Delta Ibos. My only concern is that just like in 1966 , so many are being decieved by IPOB revanchism. If they want to go , so be it. After all, Ibo speaking parts of Delta remain the poorest contributors to the state and have benefited more due to Asaba being imposed as the capital by the influence of Maryam Babangida. The call for Ibo expulsion was loudest after Murtala chased biafran troops out of Midwest but the good people of old Bendel let things slide and even contributed to rehabilitating Bendel Ibos who suffered from the mini pogroms that greeted the liberation of Midwest. The issue here is that the loudest calls for Anioma state is not from within Delta north but miscreants across the Niger. And I dare say if Anioma state is created today, same Delta Ibos will insist on using a prefix to distinguish themselves from Ibos across the Niger and will refuse to be part of the SE Geo-Politcal zone |
ValarDoharis:You are obviously a conc ohu claiming Delta Ibo. |
odduduwa:The original post was lifted from an Edo historian who witnessed the invasion and occupation Ohu you think because we are silent you take it as consent. |
Ofunaofu:Ohu stop derailing. |
ValarDoharis:Well, I am stating the role played by Bendel Ibos in colluding with biafran invaders and how their foolishness saw to non Bendel Ibos being killed indiscriminately by the invaders. If I had my way I will see to Anioma state being created because it appears you guys are aligning again with the same land grabbers . It is very neccessary to revisit this dark history because it appears from all indications that you are hell bent repeating the same foolishness. |
ValarDoharis:Why is this topic paining you ? Do you have a reason you don't want us to revisit the invasion and occupation of the Midwest and how your biafran orc army went about harrassing and executing non Ibo Bendelites ? |
Kaiser20:Derail as much as you like. |
Like in 1967, the north is the boggey man that Ibo expansionist are using to justify their expansionism and annexation of the Niger Delta. IPOB louts online claim that their ESN terrorists are a liberation militia formed to resist and chase Fulani terrorists from the south. This same ESN has now switched from Fulani herdsmen to fighting the "terrorists jihadist" federal security forces. Liberators that kill those they claim they came to liberate . The only thing they came to liberate is other peoples land from them. |
The invasion and occupation of Midwest under the pretext of liberation As far back as April 6th, 1967 almost two months before the proclamation of secession, special branch police reports had alerted the federal government of certain activities that were to take on significance later (10). Two officers from the eastern region, (Lt. Col. Ude and Major Obioha) were in contact with some of their counterparts in the Midwest to make arrangements for the possible occupation of the Midwest by troops from the Eastern Area Command. The pretext would be that the Midwest was not strong enough to defend itself and that Midwest Ibos needed protection. This occupation was to be coordinated with a simultaneous seizure of the Western region, which (according to the report) was why some individuals (presumably Ojukwu, Awolowo and Adebayo) were advocating that "northern" troops leave that region. |
nedu666:Ohu |
At the time of the Biafran Invasion, there had been no "northern" troops in the Midwest. The Nigerian Army 4th Area Command had two battalions organized in nine companies. Two companies were based in Benin, two in Agbor, two in Asaba, and one each in Warri, Auchi and Ekiadolor. It was manned by Midwesterners, under the command of Lt. Col. Conrad Nwawo [the same officer to whom Major Patrick C.K. Nzeogwu (also Midwest Ibo) had surrendered in Jan 1966]. Because several non-Ibo officers remained in Lagos and Kaduna, all but three officers on the ground (Lt. Col. David Ejoor, Majors Ogbemudia and Eremobor) of the rank of Major and above were Midwestern Ibos. Probably 75% or more of the 42 officers were Ibo-speaking. Indeed, in addition to possessing a sizable chunk of the rank and file, among the strategic positions in the Command, Ibo-speaking officers held the following: Commander, 4th Area Command (Lt. Col. Nwawo) General Staff Officer 1 (Operations) (Lt. Col. Nwanjei) Staff Officer (Civil-Military Liaison), Governors Office Commander, Benin Garrison, including two companies (Lt. Col. Ruddy Trimnell) Battalion Commander (Lt. Col. Igboba) Battalion Commander (Lt. Col. Ochei) Commanding Officer, Depot. (Lt. Col. Keshi) Officer in charge, Engineers/ Communications (Lt. Col. Okwechime) Company Commander, Auchi area Company Commanders, Asaba area (including Major Alabi-Isama) Company Commanders, Agbor area Company Commander Warri area Company Commander, Ekiadolor Unit Non-Ibos held the following positions: Quarter Master-General, 4th area command (Major Ogbemudia) Intelligence Officer (Major Eremobor) Col. David Ejoor (Military Governor, Midwest), was thus caught between numerous Midwestern Ibo officers (whom he could neither trust nor control) and the federal government (whom they did not trust). Not exactly a stranger to intrigue, Ejoor (as Commander 1st battalion, Enugu), narrowly escaped death (from Majors Anuforo and Ifeajuna) at the Ikoyi Hotel in Lagos, Jan 15,1966. He also slipped out of an attempted kidnap (by Ojukwu) during the burial of Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi at Umuahia on Jan 20, 1967. As noted above, he tried to play a balancing act as a neutral, by declaring that the Midwestern region 'would not become a battlefield'. It was a no win situation. |
It is abundantly clear that the invasion, occupation and later declaration of a puppet independent state of Benin was a deliberate igbonization project of the Midwest. The 7 week occupation by biafran orcs saw to non Ibo Bendelites being targeted for summary execution and mass murder by a what can best be described as biafran killer squads who indiscriminately arrested and killed non Bendel Ibo males of military age on suspicion they were against the occupation. This is the same Midwestern people who felt sympathy for fleeing Ibo refugees passing through their lands and provided them with humanitarian aid as they made their way back across the Niger. This is same Midwest under the Urhobo military administrator that invoked decree 8 to declare neutrality and from there prevented northern troops from invading through Midwest territory. To the Bendelites , this was a war between the northern region and eastern region. But Ojukwu and Enugu saw this as a sign of weakness instead of principle on the part of Ejoor and from there invaded and occupied the Midwest with the active collaboration of some misguided Bendel Ibos . Ejoor who had somewhat became a go between negotiator between Ojukwu and Gowon was now put on a wanted dead or alive hit list by Ojukwu. The 7week occupation by Ibo orcs and how they went about harrassing and killing non ibo Bendelites indiscriminately was a turning point in the relationship between the peoples of old Bendel towards ibos that still waxes strong till this day. |
able20:Stop derailing . You idiots have been screaming of this Tinubu CSU record being released since yesterday but up til now we never hear or see anything. |
So how did this Army Medic end up as military administrator of occupied Midwest region and later as HoS to an After Banjo had successfully invaded Midwest despite Midwest declaring neutrality under provisions of decree 8 as declared by the now ousted Ejoor, Banjo and Ojukwu argued back and forth for three days about whom to appoint Governor/ Administrator of the Midwest. Ojukwu had apparently initially preferred Lt. Col. Nwawo as the governor But Banjo, eager to avoid creating a restive non-Ibo population, independently and separately approached Lt. Col. David Ejoor (through the Catholic mission), Major Sam Ogbemudia (through an agent) and Lt. Col. Trimnell (a molato officer with ancestral links to Aboh division), in that order The first two declined. Ojukwu turned down the latter, ultimately choosing Major Albert Nwazu Okonkwo, a Midwest Ibo medical officer Okonkwo will flee from Benin city to his village a day after declaring himself HoS of an independent Benin nation and from there communicate his resignation from the Nigerian Army. What were they smoking back then? |
Cooldowntemper:Where is it? I have been waiting for this since you made this shitty thread yesterday. Where is the bombshell? You Obidunces and your nothing burgers. |
On June 6, 1967, the federal government declared a ‘police action’ to contain the secession of the Eastern Nigeria, which had taken place on, May 30, 1967. On August 9 the secessionist troops invaded and occupied the Midwestern; an event which resulted in two development. Firstly, it primped the Federal Government to declare a full-scale war on the rebels, and to add the Region to its theatre of war against the rebellion. Secondly, it undermined the neutrality and the peaceful role played initially by the Midwest in the crisis before the invasion, the Midwestern state political and traditional leaders had resisted the use of its state as a battleground against the secessionist and played host to efforts at the peaceful resolution of the conflict. A case in point was the peace meeting between delegation of the Federal Government and the Eastern Nigeria at NFOR near Benin City in 1966. But, this policy of neutrality changed with the rebel invasion. The rebel occupation force instituted a government headed by Major (Dr.) Albert Nwazu Okonkwo who was appointed administrator on August 17, 1967 by the secessionist leader colonel Odumegwe Ojukwu, Okonkwo administration lasted six weeks from August 9 to September 20, 1967 during which period the policies and activities of the rebel army deeply antagonized the non-Igbo speaking people of the state. The Midwest was renamed ‘‘Republic of Benin’’ in the early hours of September 20,1967 by Governor Okonkwo. But the Midwest as the’’ Republic of Benin’’ lasted a few hours before it was liberated by the federal troops led by late Col. Murtala Mohammed. The federal government immediately appointed Major Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia as Administrator and later as the military governor of the state. He embarked on the process of reconciliation, reconstruction, and rehabilitation aimed at ameliorating the ill feeling and mistrust that had been sown amongst the non-Igbo of the state by the rebel invasion. Pic below: 1967 cartoon of the idiot, Okonkwo .

From the above you can all see that Enugu was opposed to decentralisation and wanted Gowon to preserve Ironsi's decree 34 and follow military heirachy and hand power over to Ojukwu. Enugu refused Gowon's decree 8 that abrogated Ironsi's decree 34. This decree 34 was what Ironsi used to destroy all regions and reduce them all to provinces. Enugu not only refused to see to decree 34 being retired after it was what had been agreed at Aburi, but also kicked against more autonomy for regions which decree 8 was proposing. Knowing fully well that agitation for COR region was still alive following the brutal clampdown of an Ijaw insurection following the Jan 15 Ibo coup , and that with decree 8 and a Gowon in Lagos, the agitation for a seperate region being granted the so-called minorities was just a matter of when and not if. Ojukwu declared Biafra to prevent the inevitable creation of COR region and autonomy granted regions by Gowon's decree 8. So Gidgiddy, better know now that it was Ironsi that destroyed true federalism with his unity decree 34 and Enugu led by Ojukwu did all it could to see that decree 34 remains. |
From January 4-5, 1967 all military leaders of Nigeria met in Aburi, Ghana to resolve Nigeria's dilemma. Thereafter, conflicting versions of what was and was not agreed became the stuff of a propaganda war between Ojukwu and the federal government. On Jan 14-15, solicitors-general from all over the country met in Benin City to discuss the legal implications of Aburi and review all decrees passed by the Military since Jan 17, 1966. On Jan 17-18, they discussed a draft decree on decentralization. This was followed on Jan 25 by a an inconclusive meeting (again in Benin City) of senior Nigerian Officers from all regions to discuss the reorganization of the army after the events of 1966. On March 9-10, the Supreme Military Council met (yet again in Benin City) to ratify the decentralization decree. Ojukwu did not attend, citing security concerns. However, he showed up alone by Helicopter in Benin City on March 12 at which time Ejoor briefed him on the deliberations of the meeting he missed . He still was not pleased. This decree 8 was issued a few weeks later, practically making Nigeria a confederacy. On April 30, the National Peace Committee met in Benin City to review efforts to resolve the crisis. In the weeks that followed it was pretty clear that Ojukwu was heading toward secession. On May 26, a crucial joint meeting of the chiefs and elders of the Eastern Consultative Assembly was convened in Enugu . It mandated Ojukwu to proclaim the eastern region as an independent republic of Biafra. On May 27, therefore, Gowon preemptively declared a state of emergency and announced the creation of twelve states out of the four regions. The Midwest region became a state with no change in its size or configuration, while the other regions were divided. One of the most significant results of this exercise, was the splitting of the eastern region into three parts, separating (and land locking) the inland Ibo from the oil rich coastal minorities of the Calabar, Ogoja and Rivers provinces. On May 30, 1967, one year after the infamous "Unification Riots" took place in the then Northern region, 34 year old Lt. Col. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, mandated by the East Regional Consultative Assembly, proclaimed the Republic of Biafra. Tracing a diary of events in 1966, Ojukwu stated (among other things) that: "The widespread nature of the massacre and its periodicity May 29, July 29, and September 29 show first, that they were premeditated and planned, and second that Eastern Nigerians are no longer wanted as equal partners in the Federation of Nigeria." |
Rossikk:These people are nothing short but mad. Every single Ibo man is a potential land grabber. |
OyeofIkoTuN:Then no need to release Kanu then. |
Chinjo2:So no need releasing Kanu as his release has no bearing on Ekpa . This is why that fat pig is begging Ekpa . |
Iwanyanwu is an IPOBist revanchist. The fat pig has since been behaving like IPOB and abusing Ohaneze along IPOB ambitions That pig must be called to order. |
