Plaster sand 10ton 200,000
Sharp sand 10ton 240,000
Again, thank you so much
Our site supervisor is pressurising to stock more cements that would be used, reason he's been informed by the seller that price is about to/has gone up to 14k.
Anyone has got this info too?
Too much pressure though it won't be funny if it turns out to be through.

You can't go wrong with a solid electric dehumidifier, I use Meaco Arete one (Recommend by someone on this platform). I've been running it 24/7 during the last 3 winters and it's absolutely amazing. Zero condensation / mould, the laundry dryer function is excellent. Running cost is about £1 daily. You can get some good deals with warranty on Ebay.
How many litres is ideal for a 2 bed?
Do you buy one for each of the bedrooms plus living room?

Please what's the processes involved in renewing Nigeria passport... my friend and spouse passport would expire in October while their sons passport would expire next month.
Please how do they go about it, is there any means to facilitate the process?

The entire family needs to put in for another visa by November
Just incase they couldn't get their passport renewed before the date... can their brps serve as an alternative to the passports?

Appreciate every advice

OgbeniOptional:
I do advise anyone on dom care to start looking for more permanent role that comes with sponsorship in NHs or other stable company with or without having problems at work. Dom CoS is not reliable anyways. One company had to close down on grounds of bankruptcy(what they tell us then) or so and put all his staffs in jeopardy. The dodgy company had to open again under another name, so it is not reliable employment. I knew someone who started working again 3 weeks after giving birth in this same Dom care, husband stop working and would sit in car with the baby cuz she gotta survive. No maternity pay or nothing so she gotta work. Truly, Dom contract is not really stable with employers, it takes one serious complain from client to council/contractors/social workers to get their contract revoked. When it comes to private healthcare company in UK and HCAs, it is hard(not impossible) to win your employers. Unions are rubbish even with people in NHS, I stop paying the dues when my colleagues got issues and they really didn’t help. The person you r are looking after or even their carers will be smiling at you like this but digging your grave behind. Get onNHs jobs, indeed, go to Trac jobs, may you find something. Experience folks will help out.
Ogbeni thank you... what some Dom carers go through with these private companies are unspeakable... for a 3hrs - 4hrs shift in a day, you spend the entire day moreover you walk long kilo metres for different clients because you need to attend morning, afternoon and evening calls. If you choose to travel home in between the calls...your tfare... sometimes one would seat at a park for over 3 hours waiting for the next call...its horrible during winter

Bro NHS is a story for another day
It's either they rarely recruit carers perhaps prefer nurses or their system is on "auto-pilot" with their "unfortunately" mail.

Dear Elders,

I couldn't quote my post from the Part 2 thread, but in summary, it was about the threats I received from my boss for being pregnant. He said, I concealed the pregnancy before receiving my Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) from the company. I tried explaining that it was a coincidence, as I became pregnant the same month I got employed. My child's birth should have proven my innocence and vindicated me.

After the threat to withdraw my COS or report to the Home Office for concealing the pregnancy, I felt discriminated, as soon as I commenced my maternity leave

I was immediately removed from the WhatsApp group, unlike another colleague currently on maternity leave but still in the group. Fast forward to my return to work after a year: I was moved to a new client with fewer hours. I didn’t complain and continued working diligently. This was Barely a month after my resumption, my boss said that due to a shortage of clients in this service area i am moved to, I wouldn’t be getting enough shifts. He advised me to start searching for other sponsorship opportunities, stating that the company doesn’t know when they will secure more clients and they wouldn’t want the Home Office to question why I’m not getting enough shifts.

I asked politely about the client I was working with before my maternity leave (this is the client on my employment contract), but I was shocked when he said that the client no longer wanted a female carer. This surprised me, as I had no issues with that client before. Although I felt like contacting the client myself but it is against company policy.

My boss, the Managing Director, suggested he would send links to NHS and construction company opportunities for me to explore.

Elders, I know for sure that this is planned discrimination due to my pregnancy. I don’t know what to do or where to start. Before my maternity leave, there were rumors about “let’s see how they would survive.” We did survive without maternity pay or government assistance, hence the current COS withdrawal threat. I need advice on how to overcome this hurdle. I am barely two years into my five-year COS.

Is it not the Home Office's duty to withdraw a COS or request that one should look for another sponsor? I am still working and managing the few hours I have, but I am preparing for what seems inevitable.

Part of me wants to fight, especially questioning why I was removed from my primary assignment on my return from maternity leave. However, another part of me is hesitant, knowing that fighting a company, especially one that sponsors you, is challenging.

I am feeling very depressed about this situation. I don’t want to burden you with all the details, but it is clear that this is discrimination, and I have done nothing wrong. I have been a good staff member.

Thank you for your guidance and support.

No you won't be affected if you were on the health and care visa route before the rule change. You are still able to add your dependants if you switch sponsor and you are not restricted to the NHS.

£23,200 as already advised.

However it would have to be an NHS health and care role to sponsor your dependents. Other care workers have been banned from adding their dependants.
If one has been a sponsored carer in the UK for over 2 years before the new sponsorship policies were enacted... would it affect me?
I mean, I plan to switch/change sponsor (same care) if the opportunity comes, would it affect my dependants? Must it also be NHS before I could add them?
We are here in the UK already.
Thank you

What scheme's can she benefit from it, I mean travel wise?

She's leaving for the US and has got a 10 hour lay over at the Heathrow Airport... can she be allowed in? I mean meet relatives at the arrival section of the airport then returns to continue her journey?

Does she need a transit visa for such things?

Need all the knowledge I can get perhaps when purchasing flight tickets in the future we could utilise some of these benefits

Zahra29:
You need to apply for a visa for your child from 3 months for them to have access to free NHS healthcare via the IHS:

Children born in the UK to those here lawfully for more than 6 months
If you give birth to a child in the UK, your child will be entitled to free NHS hospital treatment in England on the same basis as someone who's ordinarily resident up to 3 months of age, but only if they remain in the UK during that period.

You'll also need to meet one of these criteria:

you have a valid visa of more than 6 months and paid the surcharge for that visa
you have a valid visa of more than 6 months, but were exempt from paying the surcharge
you have a valid visa of more than 6 months, which you applied for prior to 6 April 2015
You should apply for a visa for your child during the 3-month period after your child's birth.

If required, you may have to pay the surcharge for your child. Failure to do so means you may be charged for NHS services provided for your child after the 3-month period.

Immigration Health Surcharge
From April 2015 babies born in the UK are not entitled to free healthcare from the age of 3 months old, unless it is emergency treatment. In order to access healthcare parents of babies born in the UK will need to make an immigration application within the first 3 months of the child’s life and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge.
This is confusing... I don tire with the contradicting information, I guess I just have to do it and rest biko before story story go enter.

Some persons here, babies born in the UK do not need to switch except of they intend to travel in and out UK, they can stay and enjoy the same benefits as the parents does until they turn 18.

I equally saw this on UK.gov website:

Children born in the UK
If you have a child while you’re in the UK, they do not automatically become a British citizen.

You must apply for your child’s dependant visa if you want to travel in and out of the UK with them.

The form you fill in depends on whether your child is inside or outside the UK. Your child must either:

apply online as your child inside the UK

apply online as your child outside the UK

You’ll need to provide a full UK birth certificate for each child, showing the names of both parents.

You must apply for their dependant visa before they turn 18 if they want to stay in the UK.

Moreso a parent/main applicant in the healthcare sector do not pay for ihs, how come according to your submission; that baby would pay for ihs?
Maka why?

There are these perfumes they sell in Poundland for £1. You can buy up to 40 if you wish. You have to hunt for it cos the run out of stock easily.

You can get packs of face towels in Primark too.

For Mumcy, uou can select some good gowns from SHEIN.

Instead of chocolates and candy, if there are children, you can throw in some Multivitamins from Aldi.

If there is a Dad back home expecting gifts, you can go to Lidl and get some variety of nuts.

These are just random ideas... Look out for things on sale in shops like Primark - Kids clothings and shoes, Tshirts, handbags, headscarfs, toothpaste, etc.

Remember to stay within budget, people back home don't care. As long as it's abroad item, they'll be glad they were remembered.

Nairaland is back up in time for a factsheet released today from the Home Office to provide some clarity on the recently announced policy changes.

To summarise some key announcements:
-those already on a care visa route will be allowed to stay with and bring in dependants. Anyone switching to the care route (both in and out of country )from spring 2024 will not be able to stay with or bring in dependants.

- those already on a skilled worker route will not need to meet the new £38,700 threshold when extending their visas, changing sponsors or applying to settle, but they will be subject to the 25th percentile of earnings which is currently £29,000.

- family visa income threshold reduced to £29,000. Will be increased in stages to £38,700 but no timeline announced yet.

Hey !

Elderly people or older applicants naturally have better visa chances with the VO because they see them as categories who does not easily commit crimes and who goes particularly because of their children or grand kids.

That being said , if Mama is going to visit her own biological children then she has a better chances unlike when she is going for wedding or relatives party . Elders are not mostly judged by their grammar usage , ties , financial ability , education etc.

They judge them mostly with body fitness (medical), real intention , the children's status in the USA, their ability to cope with others ..etc.

Having traveled to the UK before will give the CO (Consular officer) the rest of mind that mama can cope in the USA .

Let mama be natural and tell the CO her real intentions . YOU DON'T REALLY HAVE TO TEACH HER MUCH ...LET HER DEAL WITH THE VO NATURALLY .

There is God ...don't give up.
She was granted visa
Asked her few questions
Purpose of the trip
Where In the US
Has she travelled before and where?

She said she no hear other long fast grammar way VO dey yarn infact VO had to tell her go! You can go now!
She left but walked up to some staff on her way and queried why she was not given any paper like she learnt
The man responded its not possible and assisted to check all her documents and behold found the white paper in between...lol

All Glory to God...it was just God!
Thank you very much
