How is SW tying you down to Nigeria?
Christmas is fast approaching now, when you will travel to your village, spend 1 or 2 weeks and use your own money to buy return tickets back to SW and also bring along 2 or more teenagers from your village with you.

What do you expect?

When you are begging for one Nigeria, were you expecting my people to leave your region while you litter your own people around our oil companies and be answering Otedola's and co from our resources? Since you feel you can feed yourself, why not support Igboho and the few brothers you have who are feeling that you can do it alone?
Watch the Igbos whenever they come out in solidarity for Biafran restoration, you don't need a prophet to tell you that's where the mind of an average Igbo man is. The same thing applies to the Hausaa. Reason is because they are convinced that they have the strength to feed themselves without other regions, can you say that about Yorubas?

Those who have little knowledge of history will come and be trying to say what they don't know.
It's shameful that Lagos is even compared to any state in Nigeria in terms of development. It simply shows how retrogressive and stagnated the state has been since the end of the colonial government.
Lagos was not just a capital Territory, it was once a crown colony, go and check her mates of that period and tell me whether there is anything you can be proud of in Lagos

Just for laughs 😂😄😂.... but na you go still use your money buy Ifesinachi or GIG bus ticket to return to Lagos after you celebrate Christmas finish.... no be them beg you to return naw.

Why those wey dey go Lagos no go go there when e be say na you dey beg up and down for one Nigeria? The North don shout Araba for their intention to break free from the pretence, their people supported it. Igbos don shout from Ojukwu to Maazi Kanu, their people supported it but when prof Banji and Igboho shouted for Odua, your people denounced them. Why be say na only Una dey fear Nigeria breakup gan gan?
If no be laziness to work, tell me why you dey fear to survive on your own like other hardworking regions?

That's where IGR comes in. The SW has the highest IGR even without Lagos. It's the most self reliant as it knows how to generate income than the regions..

The SouthWest is the least parasitic region in Nigeria.

Contradictory Statiistics. The same East has been asking for Biafra so that the south west can boldly develop its region without external parasites feasting on her resources but guess who has always been fighting for togetherness? One thing I have come learn is that the North is not afraid of Nigeria being divided into the major tribes, only the south west has been consistent in their begging approach to keep Nigeria United at all cost. In Awo's words when he realised Gowon was thinking of letting the East to secede during the war; "if by chance, the East is allowed to exit Nigeria, South West will follow suit"
Till today, you can't see any easterner bathing an eyelid at the call for Odua Republic and if for anything, they show their support for such call but the West at any opportunity they see call for Biafra, they become jittery and go hateful against a people that are willing to leave them in their paradise, so who in actual fact is/are the real parasites?

That’s MAN o. MALE. Descendant Of ADAM. THE FIRSTS. To be a MAN no easy.

Men carry so many responsibilities beyond financial and in the end you can’t cry they say you weak, you can’t drink to forget they say you a fool, you just have to soldier on.

Most times, men that drink excessively are the ones that failed to reach their potential and they just couldn’t deal with it. They know they should be doing way better and they fail to recognize and appreciate what they already have, like their family.

I’m curious, did you ever ask your dad why he drinks so much? I’m only 26 and I drink a lot too because I feel like I’m already failing.

@26? You are already feeling low? That's dangerous to your psyche

If you want to truly see how sweetness is, simply throw some pieces into charcoal burner that has been used to process palm oil. Leave it for 15 to 20mins and hurl them out. Then use knife to peel off the flesh and add salt into your new Igbo red oil. Cut it into the oil and give it 20seconds to relax, then start masticating. You will always live to remember the day forever

So Mr Kanayo doesn't have his personal life problems because he's been earning in millions? What you have to understand is that the more your earning/resources, the more responsibilities attached to your self worth comes and no one should criticize others who are unable to give out because not everyone will come out publicly to tell their own individual cross and life battles.

Go to Cynergy hotel at Festac or Jolly friends hotel at Ikeja on a Friday night and see rich, matured married men looking for hoes to fvck.

The situation of things in this country is not helping at all.... For me,I fvck prostitutes at least four times a week and I know how much I do spend.

Guilty conscience continues to haunt them.

Why Igbo names all over? You stole the popular mandate given to their son and started pretending to want to pacify them with lame appointments.

Nothing changes the big fact that you lack the legitimacy to occupy the office of the president.

Thank you so much.
Tinubu is the person I would vote for any day. Reason? He is the preferred because he is the one that extols Awolowo
' s legacy. Awolowo put Yorubas ahead in Nigeria. The Nigerian High Commission in UK was Western Region building built by Awolowo, Obafemi Awolowo University, NTA Ibadan, Western Region television station in use before France had one.The others have bastardized the Yoruba values and culture. He has laboured to make Lagos what it is today. The continuity that makes the state progressive is because of his father - figure. Other states would come and rubbish, abandoned what their predecessors did. You can only advance what your predecessors did or you are removed. The like of Obasanjo you people like is not a yoruba leader. We did not vote for him. The best regional government was run by UPN. Even, Edo and Delta, then Bendel, can testify to the progress at that time. Now charlatans have been ruling there.

Before now, yoruba didn't really believe in this national nonsense. Igbo tried to get out by war, it didn't work. Neither will war work now. Tinubu wanted to actualize what Awolowo could not. He had to stretch the hands of fellowship, as one of the remnants of Awolowo's philosophy. He could only find Buhari who touted himself as a true national leader so that he could take over from him. Buhari failed woefully plunging the nation into economic and security abyss.

The person I believe we need now is Tinubu. Today, igbos, I guess you are one of them, can now say Lagos is no man's land. Who made it so? You trade, work with government with no intimidation or lack of equity. Akabueze, became commissioner, in the present, an Igbo man is in the House of Assembly, possibly more. Profs. Kenneth Dike, Tamuno became Vice Chancellors in University of Ibadan. Today, many Igbos, other tribes are councilors in Lagos and other states in Yorubaland. I was in Ekiti, many Ebira people are councilors in where I worked last. The current chief of staff, a female professor is from other state, not married to an Ekiti man.
Sir, can anyone from Oyo State be a councilor in Anambra or Imo?

What you can't give is what you greedily asking for.
Tinubu is the man of the moment. I like Obi but I prefer Tinubu for the now. He has his flaws like any human beings unlike those of you to that perfect.
He has the backing of any reasonable Yoruba man.
He is our leader.

The engagement ended for me at the point I read Tinubu with Awo in the same context, indeed you need to study who Awo was if you didn't grow up to knowing him.
On Tinubu making Lagos what she is and replicating same in Nigeria, let's wait for it

Every great person in Nigeria is linked to the West.

You are even calling Lagos no man's land. Because Yorubaland is the birthplace of every great personality in Nigeria.
Mention names to refute this claim.

How would I go about arguing or researching the birth place of great people in Nigeria? Of what value would that add to a sane mind?
What bothers a great mind is how the Yorubaland, a region which once prides herself with decency like other regions has fast eroded its values on the altar of nepotism, would you have supported and voted the grandfather of Tinubu's status to run your lives if the election is only among Yorubas?

For you to be going gaga here about how pitobi defeated BAT in lagos is an evidence of lusting after other people's property. No one cares who wins in your region.
For your zik to abandon your barren land in the east and struggling with Yoruba to govern Western Region is an evidence of your people's inordinate covetousness.

But you are the same person that would prefer to die than to see my people leave the one Nigeria for you to vote only your people and be ruled by them alone? How do you explain begging for unity and still in the same breath asking my people not to participate in the election of the country which they are being forced to accept as theirs?

It is only your tribe that is lusting after other people's land. Nobody is dragging ur own land with you. Covetousness of highest level.
Now tell me how and when did zik defeat Awo?

How does my tribe lust after other people's land? Do they steal your land from you? Do they force you to sell your land or do you give them your land free of charge? If you say no when my people want to buy your land, would they force you or what is the grammar of lusting after land?

But instead you would sell your land and collect the money for squandering and after, you remember that you shouldn't have sold it and begin to raise unnecessary propaganda of Igbos buying your land, again I ask; did you give those land freely?

If you don't know how Zik and when Zik defeated Awo, then it reflects poorly on you as someone commenting on political threads

like it's crazy, seeing financially successful men going for village uneducated women , disgusting.

Everyone is moved by interest, men cherish respect a lot, I do too.

it's easier to get those you called uneducated village girls listen and cooperate with their man in marriage than those you think are exposed, enlightened or wealthy to meet up with the man's financial status. Men want their peace of mind and the security of their homes.
To me, if you already have the money to make yourself and home comfortable, you don't need to marry someone who will trouble your peace of mind just because she too is coming from wealthy family
