Lady allegedly beaten to death by patrons for picking money in a nightclub; her corpse dumped in a swimming pool in Anambra

A lady identified as Chinyere Awuda has been reportedly found dead as her corpse was dumped in a hotel’s swimming pool in Awka, Anambra State.

According to Uloka Chibuike on Twitter, the deceased had on Saturday, July 16, attended Club Mila, a nightclub reportedly owned by Cosmila Hotels, where one Mr. Gabriel Chinemere and his friends allegedly assaulted her.

Daily Post reports that one of the clubbers accused her of picking money which the fun seekers were spraying on their friend who was a birthday celebrant.
“Some others said she did not only pick money, but went for bundles of money, which a clubber stacked by his seat side, waiting to spray on the celebrant,” a source said.
