Well for me i'm gonna send mine today, but i'd have to get the fellow at PTDF to sign an acknowledgement note confirming receipt of my original documents. I don't think its a scam because the guy Mr Wariso is a geniune staff of PTDF as confirmed to me by older PTDF scholars.

I got the exact same mail yesterday, they say I should send originals of my credentials. According to them, it is something that has to do with New UK Immigration guidelines.

I think we really need to know the true status of what's happening at SPDC. I did my medicals (for tech. graduate) like 3 months, it was ok, but suprisingly I haven't heard anything since them. Some people say they received mails telling them that they have succesfully passed through all the required stages even without doing medicals. I haven't received any such mail. I think we really need to clear the air on this issue. I'm still hoping and praying for a call-up soon sha!

Kombitel, sorry I do not have any info about the graduate hr and finance positions. I was only refering to the technical graduate position (SITP1)

Where have you been? If u are talking about this years sitp then for your info the tests have long been written, interviews have been conducted, some candidates have undergone pre-employment medicals and are already awaiting shell's final notification - when that will come i honestly don't know!

Any news on the Shell Graduate Trainee Recruitment for this year? I hear they have planned another set of tests and interviews specifically for those from the Niger Delta region cos they need to meet up with the agreed quota for number of graduate recruits from that region. I also gather that as a result of this the program has been postponed to December. Can anyone confirm this??

It is very possible to finish primary school at the age of 9. If you ask me, i dont think your age has anything to do with why you have not been called for any interview or test so far. I finished primary school at the same age and university at the age of 20 and i have been invited for tests and interviews in quite a few big firms and multinationals one of which i have just started working with. I think all u need do is to be confident, be positive, believe in urself and your intrinsic abilities and also see your young age as an advantage and not a disadvantage. Most importantly though, ask God for favour.

U guys aren't saying anything about the new and younger rock bands that are burning the charts like Panic at the Disco!, Falll out Boy, The Zutons, All American Rejects, Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser chiefs. But if you ask me my personal all time favourites include Coldplay, Avril Lavigne and Green Day. Where the hell is Hoobastank!

To the best of my knowledge, the interviews are for the Graduate trainee (SITP/1) category not he operator/technical trainee option.

The interview invitation was for the SITP aptitude tests written sometime late july/early august for trainee engineers. The invitation was sent via mail and the interviews will hold on Tuesday, 12th September. Venue - Federal Palce Hotel, V/I. I don't know however, if there are different arrangements other than the one that i have just stated.

Guys i hear the SITP aptitude test results are out and shell has started inviting people for interviews. The interview is on the 12th of September.

Both England and Ericksson are just taking a huge risk with the selction of their stickers, they run the risk of taking two world class but half fit strickers to Germany (Rooney and Owen) in addition to Crouch and Walcott who are hugely unexpericenced and to me lack the pedigree to perform in the world cup, personally I would have preferred Defoe and Bent to this two but the truth is dat stricker or no stricker, England has a superb midfield with the likes of Lampard and Gerrad who have above 40 goals between them this season and as such can deliver the goods if the need arises.

Drogba can't be the worst sticker in the premiership with the likes of cisse, morientes, hesky and ameobi of newcastle all present.
