Me :Alright I passed it to him
VO: So you going for master’s program in industrial engineering at Texas A&M kingsville
Me: I replied yes industrial management
Vo:So I see your first degree is Animal science and you currently work in a real estate company now you want to study industrial management why ?
Me: I am an agricultural sales consultant which involves the sales of agricultural lands to individuals and organizations looking to invest in agriculture as currently my first degree is no longer competitive to improve my career in the company and the knowledge from industrial management would assist me to take on high managerial roles in the company
Vo:Who is your sponsor
Me: My aunt
Vo: what does she do and where is she
Me:she is a registered nurse in the U.S
Vo: At this point you don’t qualify for this visa he issued me a blue paper and I left
So I looked at a lot of red flags
My sponsor and career switch question
So currently my mum is my sponsor and I currently pursuing masters in animal science which I have got admission at Texas A&M university am still yet to get my I-20 yet as I assured to get it this week.
I also want to believe my Sevis ID should still be valid
Please Guys I need your suggestions , assistance and also help with mock interview

I know there are more experienced people here who can give you more appropriate advice. For me I think the sponsor is the problem, probably because she’s a nurse in the US meaning (to them) you might not return after your studies. I also feel you shouldn’t change your course. But you can seek others opinions too. Book your flight online, check airlines website to search for the cheapest flights (Airpeace, Maxair, Arik, United Nigeria, etc). You usually get cheaper flights when you book early, like weeks ahead of your trip. Best of success in your next application.
