Just trying to lighting up things with a funny video of some Cherski players dude. I'm glad eyonigger found it amusing. Cherski played awesome football against Liverpool in that quarter final second leg, but Liverpool came out like Heroes at the end of that match. All that said, I don't think Cherski stands a chance against Barca after seeing how they destroyed Bayern. But If Drogba brings his A game like he finally did with Liverpool, then we have a serious match on our hands!

Wow, I just noticed these responses to my post!! Kai, gotta be checking Nairaland more often!

Happy New Year Folks, and thanks a lot for everyone's constructive criticism smiley It was our first movie, so I really appreciate the feedback!

Awesome observation bishoptboy, I just now noticed the crossing the axis sequence on that rooftop scene. Nice calling out lol, but it was still okay no? There were quite a number of other technical hiccups, but it was inevitable considering the incredibly narrow budget and small crew we had.

I share your exact perception of Nollywood, and what we're are trying to do is show that African cinema doesn't need to be limited to such movies that you mentioned in your post. With enough production value, we can make movies that can resonate with not just an African audience, but with the rest of the world!

We're gonna be making a full-length feature this year. And I'm definitely going to remember all the feedback I got from you guys, thanx a lot!

See me trouble Oooh! 20th Century Fox are trying to give me a heart attack at my young age. SuperEagles almost did that to me at 98 worldcup, It's not going to happen to me again!!

I heard about Akira Toriyama selling the rights of Dragon Ball to 20th Century Fox a couple of years back. But didn't hear anything about it since; until a few weeks back that they've actually green lighted the project. And now they've gone to cast some white kid as the Legendary Goku!!! No offence to Justin Chatwin, seems like a decent actor, and the boy take style resemble Goku small. But how the hell is he going to master some sick martial arts moves in some monthshuh

I think it took Yuen Wo Ping like at least a year to get the cast of The Matrix in shape for all the stunts and choreagraphy. Now this Chatwin fellow who hasn't done any movie that has required him to be a serious bad ass to my knowledge is becoming Goku!! Has the world gone mad?? Wouldn't it have just been better to wait for Jet Li's or Chackie Chan's pickin to grow small and take the role!

Anyhow sha, Stephen Chow is producing the movie, and Stephen Chow is AWESOME! Could've been better If he directed though. But at least with him I can have some sense of hope !

TV/MoviesRe: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by Nwazo(m): 8:43pm On Nov 04, 2007
I think the movie you're referring to that had Crowe and Denzel is Virtuosity, it wasn't such a good movie from what I vaguely remember.

I haven't seen American Gangsters yet, but I plan to soon. With awesome movies like Bladerunner, Alien, and of course Gladiator, Ridley Scott can't go wrong in my book.

Denzel is definitely "Ma Ni&&a" too. Plus we have our Naija broda Chiwetel Ejiofor in it as well, so American Gangster is definitely on the list cool
