They make some good points, but it could have been better if at least someone from an African country was part of that discussion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CGUv8ZEQWA |

Omo this James Mintz Group data firm that created this stuvs funny,no be small, so where is US ranked in this their index?? I no fit argue with the Naija ranking sha! China has the largest risk of corruption across all industries according to a new report. A US firm has compiled data from global corruption cases under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The act covers foreign companies listed in the US or US companies trading overseas. China poses the broadest corruption risk across all sectors of any country in the world, according to a new report. US investigative firm James Mintz Group has complied a report on corruption across the world. It lists penalties that have been paid in bribery cases under the United States' Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by US companies operating overseas or overseas companies listed in the US. The data is presented in an interactive map. While Nigeria is the country where the highest amount of penalties for bribery have been paid since the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act was introduced in 1977, these cases were mostly limited to the oil industry. Data for China showed penalties for corruption paid across all sectors of the industry—the broadest range of corruption cases in the world. The video and interactive map dey here: http://www./naijafeed/2011/11/24/video-china-rated-most-corrupt-across-all-sectors-while-nige.html |

Nollywood's new generation is slowly emerging. Berra production value, original stuff, and a new crop of stars are on their way: Take for example this movie that just had it's nation wide release in Nigerian cinemas last month: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_ZYlGVMKrk As long as new film makers take initiative and risk to deviate from the norm, who knows, someday a Nollywood flick might be screening at a major film festival like Cannes and getting picked up by a major distributor! |
Lets hoping with the new crop of Nigerian film makers emerging, new Nollywood stars will also be made. This trailer for a Nollywood flick coming out in Nigerian cinemas this month looks rather promising: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxSkFU6mlz0?hd=1 With production values of Nigerian movies improving. It's possible the regular Nollywood fan's taste in movies will change and won't need to depend on seeing a popular face, as long as whatever they're watching has solid production values and is actually a good story to begin with! |
Looks like Nollywood dey come up no be small! Check out the trailer for soon to be released Naija movie ZR7: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmrkcACfIXA |
Aaah, sounds familiar, I think that's the Pandora's Box level actually. My guy I'll have to play the whole thing again to remember how I beat that level lol But check out the walkthough on this site: http://www.mahalo.com/god-of-war-3-walkthrough It might help you out if you haven't beaten that stage already! |
Place I remember with giant like boxes in God of War 3 is pandoras box itself, but you might have not reached there yet. It's been months since I've played it so memories a bit fuzzy. Give me some more details on the level! Yeah, they should add like a cheat or game walkthrough section for Nairaland ![]() I myself only use stuff like that as a last last last resort lol I'm sure if you hang in there for a bit longer you'll figure that part out! |
Those puzzles serve as good mind massages in between the carnage Kratos unleashes! If you're stuck on that one, man get ready, you neva jam puzzle lol, close to the end there's a really mean ass puzzle like this. It has to do with optical illusions and shite, it took me for a bit of a loop. Make sure you're well rested before you reach that one! |
Yeah man, it's pretty sweet! I beat Arcade mode yesterday using mostly Ryu. Brought back a lot of memories. But man that God of War 3 is epic, you're gonna have a blast with it! |
lol, Nna some people get plenty time for hand, Funny stuvs: http://www./naijafeed/2010/6/24/leave-sani-kaita-alone.html |
Reliving my glory days on Super Street Fighter 4 on the PS3! Back in the day I was the local champion in my hood in Abuja, skillz are a bit rusty but it's all coming back, SHORYUKEN!!! |
Unfortunately be like say na so princekevo, I guess the latest P-Square music video is more of a big deal for some folks! |
CNN reporting isn't really the big deal, what they are reporting on is I think. And as per their reports have more of a reach compared to an NTA. The impression of Naija right now is chaos, well I guess that's a pretty accurate impression actually! |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_4efJxJs4Q The lack of access to fuel and a vacuum in the presidency raises tensions in Nigeria. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQUAQxYUfpQ That old track that came at 0:20 in the video brought sweet nostalgia! |
The Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Bukola Saraki explains in the video explains that the exchange of expertise and resources between the private insurance company, the Health Insurance Fund and his Government is the key to making the insurance program the best healthcare model for Africa. To watch the video click on the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clLH9Aw3nIc |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoXk444L30U Nigerian Foreign Minister Ojo Maduekwe was on CNN in the video link up top talking about Nigeria winning a seat at the U.N. security council and accomplishments Nigeria is looking forward to achieve. |
Why not Ghana? It's a decent African country, and I don't think people are busy blowing up oil pipelines all over the place and Kidnapping people left and right on an almost everyday basis! I'm sure Ghana has it's problems, but right now they look like a more stable country than Naija! Plus they seem to luv the dude, as per in the video below, they're just naming everything in the country after him back there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZkWgUK7Ryk |
sley4life:I was second guessing myself when I said second, cause I remembered hearing 3rd somewhere else but wasn't sure how recent that statistic was, You might be right on that. And even though sef, quantity isn't better than quality especially for the case of Naija films lol So you're definitely right on that note of naija fiimms not reaching international requirements. I think it's greediness that is shacking most of Nollywood producers. As per no matter how raz their movies look, people will still buy or bootleg the movies. So in a thorough business sense, why should they improve their production value by spending money on making their films look better when people are still buying their low cost produced movies, If it ain't broke don't fix it right? I'm not an advocate of razness and I'll love to one day see an awesome looking Naija movie that can stand side by side with a Hollywood movie. But right now, all na bizness, and unless a Nigerian movie maker is willing to take a bite out of his pocket and make a movie that can be presented and appreciated on a global level, the status quo of Naija movies will be around for a long time to come. |
