oloworulz:On the internet you can be anything you want. It's really strange how people choose to be arrogantly ethnocentric. The suggestion here is for the governor to provide alternatives for those hawkers and you are saying the Igbo boys(based on whatever harm they might have meted out on you) should pack their load and go back to their state. Let's assume the 'Igbo' hawkers leave, followed by the 'Hausa' hawkers...what would be the fate of the 'Yoruba' hawkers? They should pack up and come to your house i guess. NDA is still trending on Nigerian security issues. Let's prevent the occurrence of LHA(Lagos Hawkers Avengers)... |

Zedoo:I'm not a Messi hater, neither am I a Ronaldo fanatic, but please try to put in at least an iota of objectivity when making comments such as this. Ronaldo is a small game shiner?? 'Doesn't take big games by it's horns'...like Messi did 3 years ago against bayern...or like Messi did in the last UCL by taking barca to the final! These two guys are awesome in their own rights, banging in goals every week! It would be good to stop deceiving ourselves that one is better than the other and just enjoy the lush delicacy of soccer they bring to our screens... |
In situations like this, there's a very high tendency to take actions based on impulse, actions which seem logical, but really is harsh, irrational and wrong!:/ Some people are of the opinion that this baby should be aborted, else he would grow up to be a monster or 'boko haram' simply because of the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy.:/ You don't give birth to a child the way he ought, so that when he/she is old, will not depart from it. NO.....You 'train up' the child the way he ought. My major concern is if Ese, with regard to her age, can withstand the birth pangs associated with childbirth. Also, she shouldn't be given custody of the child after giving birth cos she herself has not gone through adequate upbringing, not to talk of training a child, and with this ordeal she's gone through, she would need a psychological coach.......... |

With the strong attacks on ethnicity and religion, i hope we won't be having headlines like 'Igbo man hits Yoruba boy with car and the Muslim Judge sentenced both to jail'!. Rather than looking at criminals and crimes, no matter the level fo severity, under the light of religion and ethnicity which end up stirring up the waters, leading to exchange of abrasive words, I believe there are other factors that should be considered, especially in this case of abduction. First of all, i believe illiteracy plays a major role in this incident. 2) How strict are the laws meant to protect the female child?? Are there laws at all for their protection against sexual abuse?? What are the consequences of abusing the female child?? Are they strictly pointed out and adhered to?? |
That this case, as intense as it is, is being handled furtively, is really baffling and irritatingly bothersome! There are two people involved in this case: Yunusa(supposedly the abductor) and Ese(supposedly the abductee). Images of the latter have gone viral in almost all the media platforms, while Yunusa's identity remains confidential to the point that searching for him online would provide you with images of Ese. Could it be that he's a ghost or the press a penchant for taking shots of female victims Or could there be any iota of prejudice or discrimination over whose identity should be released and whose should not, probably because one belongs to a group and the other doesn't Why hasn't this guy's identity been revealed??That means while I am indoors with my neice, there's a high probability that my security guard's friend downstairs could just be Yunusa...*Locking my door* I saw online that according to the Emir of Kano, Ese has been banished from entering Kano, and that if she's found, in line with Sharia laws, her fingers would be cut and she would be imprisoned! Seeing that, made me ponder if this is the same Sanusi that was hitherto a CBN governor I saw as literate! I really hope that information lacks veracity. |
