miraclebaby: You may need to run another test to confirm the type of infection and treat with right antibiotics with dh. Also abstain during treatment. I think it returned because you both didn’t treat. It always does that. Also wash all undies with warm water or change to new ones if you can. You can try garlic insert in the vj to ease the itch or sit bath with ACV in warm water, unsweetened yoghurt robbed directly or eaten, Myco.ten is also good. But these are just for relief, for treatment you need to culture so as to know the antibiotics that will work on it. When I started treatment I changed all my undies. I stopped having sex since March, I started treatment in May. I did culture and they found candida, I was given diflucan. Thank you ma for the response |

Meeenah: The thing about infection is that both couples have to undergo treatment inorder to avoid reinfection. After which you both retest to be sure that the infection is completely gone. I'm still having itching, so I'm not sure it is gone completely. I did culture test. Thanks mama |

lovelygurl: Depends on how tight those braids are. As long as you go easy around your edges and your hair is very moisturised then you're good. hi lovelygurl, do u mean moisturizing braided hair or natural hair. if it is braided hair, how can it be done. I read somewhere where someone said that she moisturize her braided hair every day. |
Fashion › Re: Embracing The Beauty Of Your Natural Hair by Nzlove: 9:54pm On Oct 19, 2017 |
lovelygurl: Oh yeah I know the struggle . I always prepoo first, and also detangle while doing this. Always start detangling from the bottom and be careful around where your natural meets the relaxed ends. And it's normal for you to have a lot of shedding, while transitioning and especially after a protective style. So don't worry you aren't going bald thank you so much, this is really helpful. I even thought I will go bald cos the shedding is much. but you have reassured me. my mistake is that I did not prepoo before detangling, I didn't know that I can do it on a dirty hair. |

kudos lovelygurl, your thread is very encouraging and Many people are now having faith in their natural hair. eg me.
I have a small question; after removing a protective style (braids) my hair is very dirty. what is the next step, should I shampoo first before detangling or prepoo or detangle first before washing. I'm currently transitioning. my hair is 4c and low porosity.
thanks in advance. suggestions from anybody will be appreciated. |
