I also currently use St Patrick's hospital opposite Niger Foundation hospital all at Presidential road. They are very good too but very expensive. In all, find one your spirit aligns. I hope it helps

I'm using blessed assurance hospital beside coal camp. It is a very good private hospital.
There is also St. Patrick at owerri Road near stadium, I have used it before and the doctors are good too.

Then there is Aickon and posh at New haven, parklane besides Shoprite , Balm of Gilead in maryland. This are the ones people usually recommend.

Niger foundation is good if you love too much
Protocols. Mother of Christ at Holy Ghost is good too, they have good facilities but how they running it is so old fashioned for me like their mode of payment, they don't accept pos or transfer only cash. I don't know whether they have upgraded.

I complained today at the hospital, and my doctor gave me painkillers. Any other person experiencing this pain?

Sorry mama, it might be your own pregnancy package. I usually feel pain in my lower side tummy especially while walking a little distance too. Then it always stops on its own, maybe it will stop when you take medication.

I heard that lying on the floor on your left side and kneeling to clean a floor instead of the normal standing to mop helps. But I think it Is just old wives tale. But even if you want to try it and you are not comfortable just stop.

Most of those external turning doesn't end well in most cases.

your baby can still turn, even if it didn't happen just go with the Cs, all that matters at the end is you and your baby being alive, not the mode of delivery.

as for the list next time you go to hospital ask them about it, they will give it to you. That is how my hospital use to do, you will request first.

This is a mama that posted a list sometime ago, let me send the list to you.
in addition to what she post, since we will be having our baby in Sept, it is still a wet season and sometimes clothes does not dry fast, you can add
two more cardigans or sweaters, go for 3 to 6 months, your baby can also use it during harmattan.
Any cloth you are buying should be 3 to 6 months or 0 to 6 months.

Congrats to all mamas that gave birth, I thank God that it ended in praise for everyone.

i went for scan today and is measuring behind from my counting. from my counting i suppose to be 11weeks, my LMP was 4th March but scan measured 8weeks 6days though everything is just ok, and i saw my LO wiggling hands and legs, the baby i have prayed and waited for good 3years.

i was counting my self as TEAM DEC but scan gave me 9/11/2021 so am now TEAM NOVEMBER.

Don't panic. It might still change, some of scan machines are like that, you will be getting different dates. Even if it doesn't change, the most important thing is that baby is healthy.

I pray that your baby will remain healthy and you will carry to tetm

Hi Guys,

I will appreciate some clarification from the experts or experienced.

My wife is currently pregnant with our second baby and will be due very soon.

The first child was delivered via CS in a private hospital. We got 3 diff reasons for CS from 3 diff Dr. in the same hospital. But at the point of time labour when I was asked to sign the consent form, the reason was that labour was taking too long, she is now weak and may affect the baby if pushed further.

After delivery when I request for a report, the reason was that the pelvic was too small, and another Dr latter said the baby had the cord on the neck....That went.

Now we are expecting the second baby, and she is registered at the General Hospital and a diff Private hospital this time. She was asked to do CT pelvimetry scan which she did at Afriglobal. The report that came with the scan footage says her sacropubic diameter is inadequate. Her value is 11.1 and the reference value is 11.5

When the report was taken the hospital (private), she was told that she will have to go through a CS and she should decide on a date when its time.

The same report was then taken to the General Hosp, and she was told that the report may not be accurate that she will go through viginal delivery first, then they may now revert to CS if necessary.

Kindly help shed some light .

When did she gave birth to the first child? In my opinion I think you should opt for elective CS, I think that scan centre is reputable. It will be bad if after suffering labour pains, it will still result in emergency CS.

What of blood tonic/supplements? Can't it boost PCV?

I don't know if it is safe to use during pregnancy. Let me try the Ugu water first, then I will check my pcv again during my next visit. Thank you mama.

Take the PCV thing serious o, eat enough dark vegetables like “Ugwu/pumpkin leaf”, you can extract the water and drink with malt or milk 3 times a week. Eat cow liver , fish and sea foods cos they are rich in iron ...please take oranges too and fruits your body can tolerate. If you do these before the end of two weeks you will see a positive result

Thank you very much for this, I really appreciate it. Should I boil the Ugu water after extracting before adding the milk or should I just add it immediately after the extraction?

During this MS stage, cold drinks have been my saving grace. I don't know how I will survive without cold water. It seems too much fruits and vegetables purge me. The way I purged throughout the week was scary, i had to go for scan to be sure my baby is okay. Thank God, everything is fine.

Affliction shall not rise a second time, Amen.

Amen o. Fruits and vegetables purge me too. Seriously I am confused. What should I be eating to boost blood, the Dr. said that my pcv level is 9.0 that I should try and increase it. Pls I need advice mamas

That night they didn’t induce had to wait till next day. Let me tell you induction was painful!!!! Damn the first process got me to 5cm in about 6 hours. afterwards I was moved to labor room oxytocin commenced, and they ruptured the membrane, I received 3 hot drips on the 3rd I got to 10cm I was told to push and LO came screaming out his lungs on the 3rd push after I released very hot poop. We began the 3rd journey my baby had jaundice, we were referred to Massey hospital as the level was increasing instead of decreasing, the drs said he will require an exchange blood transfusion I’m honestly so thankful for the mama here that answered my questions on jaundice and glad I listened to her instead of traditional treatment, after the process was done we we’re discharged after 3 days I was so exhausted I’m thankful we’re back home now hubby is doing well , mom is doing vigilante and LO is eating well. Signing out of March 2021 team
