Oh so Lubex is not a good synthetic oil? i have been using it since last year but i could not find it this time around so i went for mobile 1 high millage. Does it mean it is now that i have just started using good 5W-30 Synthetic oil? and the previous Lubex does not count

you will have to use dextron 6 , the colour of the lubricant is white and quite expensive but last for very long interval.

the oil specification in my toyota corrolla 2007 model is 5w30, but I am using Amasco oil because of the non availability and expensive nature of the 5w30 oil. will it affect my car engine?

You don't need to damage your engine because of money. Yes, the engine can endure bad oil but does not mean it is not affected. A 5W30 is what the manufacturer specified for your engine and it's better you use the specific oil weight if you want to enjoy optimum performance on your engine and also saves fuel. Try Lubex SYN 5W30, I bet you will enjoy the oil.
