Ironsi had no business taking over the government in the first place. While Gowon was going about trying to squash the coup, Ironsi was scheming on how to take over power. In the Absence of Balewa who was the prime Minister, the Parliament chose the next senior minister from the ruling party, Diparchima from Borno to take over. He was supposed to be sworn in by the president but Zik who knew about the coup was hibernating in Brazil. The senate president Mr Nwafor, who was acting president refused to swear in Diparchima but swore in Ironsi his igbo brother who had forced the parliament to hand over power to him.

Ambode should keep working and make sure he picks the governorship form from any party at all. We Lagosians ain't stupid. This guy has achieved in four years what Fashola couldn't achieve in 8 years.

Tinubu may have his tricks but he still relies on the vote of the masses. The fate of 40 million Lagosians can't be sealed by a group of corrupt "mandate group" who we barely know their names. That's absurd, this is not growth and very unhealthy to democracy.

There's nothing honorable about being a coward, if he's begged Tinubu,chased him from from one state to another, one occasion to another, sheded tears like a nursery one baby and yet Tinubu has refused to have a change of mind then I urge him to take a manly step, put up a fight like never before.
