Hello all, how are you guys? Today, I'm in the mood of teaching a highly lucrative skill. The skill is how to be the highest earner on Uber! It doesn't even end there. While teaching you how to be the highest earner on Uber, I'm also going to teach you how to do it without a driver!! And without a car on the platform!!! Yea,I meant that, exactly how I wrote it. How does 10,000 naira per conversion sound? So my plan is, I've only just started writing the ebook for that. But I need to know if the effort is worth it. If anyone thinks it is, just drop a comment. Thanks. |

Business › Re: How Does Western Union Money Transfer Work In Nigeria? by OAKSFIVEFARMS: 10:12pm On Sep 12, 2017 |
0955eb027: Its straightforward, although the rate might not be pleasing at times. Last i checked(friday), it stood at 320(not static) to the naira. Provide your details to the sender, and he/she on the other hand will replicate, topping it with secret question and MTCN(money transfer control number). MTCN is a ten digit number which serves as the key to you pulling the money, and for that reason must be kept safe. As at this moment, western union(receiving) can only be processed in a bank where you are an account holder. PS: Walk into the bank taking a valid ID card along(int passport, voters card, national id(the new one), drivers license), get the yellow form and complete it. You will be required to complete an AML(Anti Money Laundering) form as well. Note: On the form, the MTCN you are writing is the first six digit; you will be asked to punch in the last four with some sort of device when the process is ongoing. It will be paid into your account, then you can now decide to cash or let it sleep. Na naira dem go pay you o, not dollars. I hope this helps. You can receive WU in a bank you don't have an account. |

MasterRahl: Hello fellow Nairalanders. I believe I'll get some help here.
There's this guy I was carrying out a business with on fiverr. The budget is kinda cool so he was discussing ways to send me the money. A friend advised me to ask him to pay directly to my payoneer to avoid the fiverr 20% charge. Lol. The guy said he is not familiar with payoneer. He suggested using Western Union but I'm not familiar with it either.
How does it work here in Nigeria? Is it cool? Would you advise that I use it or do I go ahead with the fiverr 20% deduction? Thanks.
No bashing please. No one knows it all.
Lalasticlala abeg I need much info. Do the needful biko. Let me make this very easy for you. You do not need any ID, valid or otherwise to collect your western union. All I had to do last time I collected was. Go to the gtbank ATM with my MTCN. And perform a card less transaction. Don't insert your card, just press any button. It will show you the western union option. The transaction was done in less than 3 minutes. And my money reflected immediately. Also, with Payoneer, you can send a mail to the sender with a Payoneer payment link. As long as sender has debit or credit card. Once he clicks on the link, he will see details for sending the money within 3 quick amd easy steps. It's so simple. |

Stormyweather: 40000 monthly? That's quite low I guess. As for the driving, I intend driving for about two weeks to get used to the car and also get myself on par. Any tips I need to get comfortable quickly will be appreciated from you sir 40,000 weekly sir. Please keep in mind this is not fixed. What you make is dependent on how much work you put in. You can add me up on WhatsApp for any questions you may have. |

Stormyweather: hello sir I have a few questions About uber in Lagos. I'm thinking of getting a Camry 2005 with a v4 engine, is that advisable? Secondly I don't know much roads in Lagos. Is it advisable I rely on the map? What's the best way to go about this? Thirdly my driving needs some brushes as I've not had many major drives but I do well either way. Should I go to a driving school or I thought of mastering the car and road for a while. It's important to note that I've taught friends how to drive before. How much should I budget to make after monthly after fuel and maintenance and uber's cut has been deducted? Considering the above mentioned
Thanks a lot in advance Hello, A 2005 Camry with a 4 cylinder engine is perfect for Uber, although a Corolla with the same specs might fare better. Yes you can rely on the map, till you get better bearings of the road. I didn't know anywhere in my city when I started as well. Third, if you feel your driving is not up to par, please give the car to a driver. Or drive a bit more till you are sure of yourself, Uber is driving intensive and is not the same as yoir everyday going-to-the-mall type driving. I wouldn't adevise you to drive if you are not quite sure. In Lagos, I expect you should make about 40,000 naira net profit. I hope I have answered your questions, but if not, please feel free to "mention". |

Tessyekaks: Please I have some questions..
1. Does Uber accept the 3rd party registration that's usually done when registering your car?
2. For those doing both uber/taxify, with the new taxify rule (that you must have a form of taxify insurance cover, basic, premium or comprehensive).
If I do the taxify comprehensive cover, would it be accepted by Uber also?
Please I need answers, this whole getting on uber/taxify as a partner is taking too long.
Thanks Why not talk to us today, we've helped so many people get on Uber with our free consultations. |
