Hi There Folks,

Been going through the post and i find it refreshing.i am the type that goes to work early in the morning and come back home at night ,can you guys give idea how a guy like me can earn money on the side with an uber taxi? without having to worry about stories from drivers saying this or that about not being able to keep up with agreed returns on the taxi .please i will hope to read more from you soon.

If you already have a car you want to earn on Uber with, I would either suggest as a first option for you to drive the car yourself. If that is not possible, then get a driver and either put him/her on hire purchase or rental. As a last option, you can call us and we will look into managing the vehicle for you, this guarantees that you get paid every time your money is due.

1) How much can I estimate to make as an Uber driver (driving my own car) in Abuja, per week?

2) How much can I estimate to get per week using a driver on Uber? (that is after paying Uber 25%, the driver and running costs)

3) Can Uber provide a driver should I become a partner/register my car on Uber?

I still think your reasons are not relevant... Even America imports from China. Even UK imports from China... It doesn't weaken their currency.. What the Naira needs is less corrupt politicians and civil servants... Imagine where a person steals and houses 9.8million dollars "cash" .. Don't you think that amount of money if injected into the Nigerian economy would make the Naira stronger, that's if it used with zero corruption? I am not trying to be smart... Forgive my choice of words too it's just that you talking about restricting education to one's home country is sickening... Better Education should be encouraged.. Because it's from getting a better education that Nigeria stands a chance to be better... Emir Sanusi is celebrated today because of his learning, Okonjo as well and this new UN deputy Secretary, Amina and so many countless Nigerians.... If one can afford a foreign education I don't think it's luxury, it's a necessity. Please don't make such arguments again... It's your opinion though... And your mouth and your mb. Once again.. I apologize for using those words initially...

Those quoting to question and doubt the $25 price, you can make use of Google and clear your doubt.

Though it didn't get to $25 but it got to $27 in around Feb and March 2016.

And what's the difference between $25 and $27?

Let us get one thing right first –I am not a doctor. Now, that we got that out of the way, I can continue with my article from my perspective as a layman and patient to some doctors. Remember, if there are no patients there would not be need for doctors.

I was very inquisitive as a child with many questions running through my mind, one of the ones I remember vividly is: what happens to the food we ate? Do we have eba in our head for example or rice in our hands? Of course, I later learnt digestion in primary school (I cannot remember the class but I am sure it would be about the same class where you learnt it too).

Another big question which was quite logical to me at the time is: who do doctors go to for treatment when they fall ill (or sick as we say in Naija English)? Up till today I have not gotten a clear answer. Sure, I know doctors see other doctors for treatment but what I am not sure of is if they do so willingly or grudgingly. You know like Doctor Hope is examining Doctor Faith and the latter is thinking in her mind –‘what does she even know sef? I was smarter than her in med school’. Is this what happens to some doctors or do they willingly revert to the role of the patient that follows the doctor’s advice (pun intended)?

Another way of looking at this is the economics of it; why should one doctor pay another for a service that in theory at least they can provide for themselves? I might think like this if I were a doctor and I would love to know what doctors think and what their experiences are on the subject.
