We might also not know who the main league winner is. We need to find ways and means of the regulars not feeling we are gaming with bots.

We might also need another Classic League strictly for active members here to increase the engagements and the banters.

When next you are paired with a Legend, I mean a real TIGER like BRUTTALION, you don't make mouth until you have escaped the claws of the TIGER.

If you had not made mouth and disrespected Brutal BRUTTALION like this, you probably might have made it to the Final.

The season ended for BRUTTALION after realizing we will be unable to make the FA cut-out, but well above relegation. We had NO interest and still don't have interest in Bongo cup. So we might not have remembered the deadline sef or do any serious thinking with the team, but your disrespect drew us out for GW37.

Come be say we wasted the triple captain chip on you sef. We thought you will change your AM chip from Iraola to a more promising manager.

Tutorial from a Real Tiger to a Paper-tiger: You wasted the Assistant Manager chip for GW37, how could you have banked on Iraola who was meeting City that have a must-win game to qualify for CL?

Rules should be rules regardless of anything. The moderator(s) ought to have considered this before setting the rules.......... Definitely there should be reward for making the Carling semi final and a sanction finishing bottom 4 of the F.A cup. How do you want others to participate in the banter when they are not in the league? I doubt if anyone check this page more than I do, however, you all should run it your ways.

The post iamoyindamola agreed to is not about changing the rules, but on doing something about the ghost members, and no one is saying those who make semi in Carling cup should not be promoted. The idea of ridding ghost participants is not an attempt to change the rules, but to strengthen it. Even all the while Ibime and Mukina2 were handling it in the past, they made room in FA for Carling Cup Finalists if they show up on time. If we rid the ghost members in FA Cup, where do you think we will get their replacements? It will be from those who are doing well in Carling Cup and also active on the thread. Like I said our primary aim is to have fun, the relegation and promotion idea will also add more fun to the game, but where is the fun when those considered are not active to banter?

From former champions should get automatic ticket to active and banter members should be given priority.

Even if we discard the idea of automatic ticket for former winners and priority for active banterers, which I have no problem with, something still has to be done about having ghost participants especially in our top h2h league. There is no fun having 50% or more of the participants not showing up here after collecting codes. The primary purpose of this game is to have fun since there are no prices to be won.

I rarely post on NL now, but I still actively follow this thread after reading news and comments on home page threads, because of the fun of it, nobody will remove anyone doing well that also participates in the banter here, even if it is once in a while.

What you can do is to open a file and keep the moniker, team name and email address of all the people you are sending codes now, in their different categories. It will make the job easier for you next season, as you will only need to sort out those being promoted and those going relegation.

He is right and your point is valid as well, that's why I suggested 2 leagues format for this coming season. Elite League and General League. You can drop the code for the general League as usual but I suggest there should be another one with very limited participants -20.

Best 4 from General League should advance to Elite League the following season and vice versa. Every participant in this season FA should automatically be in the Elite League, hence I suggest you send 2 codes - for Elite League and the FA to active, known players.

We just must make it lively and fun-filled this coming season bro.

That will be extra work, but if you guys have the time and energy, fine by me... Just that 20 will be too small for the Elite league you suggested, I will suggest 50; which should include all the participants of FA and Carling cups, plus additional 10 participants that did well in the main league in the previous season.

Otherwise, I will say if the thread for new season is not pushed to the home page, participation is not automatic every new season, and only those who visit the thread on NL-EPL Section will see the code for the main League, then participation will be limited to some extent to serious participants.

I suggest you and Oasis007 fine-tune the rules and conditions going forward and open a new thread for the new season and let's understand the new rules (if any) before sharing the codes.

FPL managers will now be able to bank FIVE free transfers. This is an increase from two.

Secondly, you will KEEP your banked transfers even when you play a chip.


Also Fantasy managers will be given a NEW CHIP in 2024/25, to go alongside the two Wildcards, the Bench Boost, the Free Hit and the Triple Captain. At this stage, it's only known as the "Mystery Chip" We will know the details about the chip later.
