Based on the specific details I note above, I am pretty sure that I might know exactly who you are outside of this forum, though my Oracle has been wrong before.

Wonderment.

E get as e be.

Wettin man pikin nogo see for this life ?

Anyway, right or wrong though my Sherlock Holmes presumption about your true identity may be, I nonetheless feel that my observation about PayPal's default stance on all things Nigeria, is at least partially vindicated by none other than one of Nairaland's longest-serving and most esteemed moderators, so, for this OFFICIAL endorsement of my reports on this subject, I hastily commot my cap with gratitude sir.

On a related note it is great news to learn that PayPal has finally opened the business door just a crack for Nigerian users, particularly in light of the stance previously taken in the recent past. I never in my entire life thought I would live to hear the name "PayPal Nigeria", outside the context of a one-liner joke about the very notion.

E get as e be.

Hahahahaha... I don't doubt your oracle. But I be small pikin that can be easily fished out o. cheesy Though I have only interacted with minute few from this forum but it will be honour really meeting a Nairaland LEGEND like you outside the forum. You have been on Nairaland since the 1st year of its existence and still an active and powerful poster as ever despite the meany season changes here, honestly you deserve a good percentage of Nairaland shares.

Respect to one and only Sir Jakumo!

Well, we can only hope PayPal will do its best and use improved technology to counter thier fears on fraudulent activities in Nigeria and grant the genuine business men in the country the full PayPal features. We are talking about the most populous black nation, biggest Africa market and one of the biggest economies in Africa. I think PayPal has more to gain giving Nigerians the full PayPal features for real.

I honestly have no idea how you pulled off this feat, sir, because I know of SEVERAL PayPal customers of long standing, who were ALL blacklisted forever, the INSTANT they tried to carry out PayPal transactions whilst visiting Nigeria.

Na him be say ya juju dey strong, no be small ting.

Frankly I am utterly mystified by your unbelievable claim.

What you wrote is true years ago. But that changed since PayPal Nigeria waa launched. You can now open your foreign PayPal account in Nigeria as long as you are not changing the account details.

And even before then and now, any issue that warrants blocking your PayPal account were and still easily resolved soon as you get back to your foreign base and use the number used in setting up the account to call them.

About 5/6 years ago, my foreign PayPal account was blocked while accessing it in Nigeria trying to confirm a payment. But soon as I got back, called PayPal they unblocked it almost immediately. But warned me not to access the account again in Nigeria till they change their policy stand on Nigeria.

Since PayPal Nigeria was launched I am now able to access the account when in Nigeria and it doesn't get blocked.

But what the OP is proposing is very risky, especially when funds start coming into the PayPal account and he has to transfer the funds into his bank account... Very likely it will get blocked by then

I hope the marriage lasts. You can't hook a man through hoeing and expect him to stay because when the novelty of the huge boobs wears off, he will abandon you for greener pasture.

Or she could always renew the 'efo' she cooked for him.

It is also not impossible that she has other quality characters for which the guy married her that might also keep her in marriage till death do them part.

We don't really know her. So let's not judge her book by the cover of oloshoism only.

Just look at the comments on this thread and you'll realise that more Nigerians suffer from intellectual poverty than financial poverty.

The lessons to be learnt from that article are more than what some Nigerians learnt in their entire time spent in school and they don't have the wisdom to read and pick a lesson or two.

10 Years from now, Paddy would be a billionaire under 40, some people who picked lessons from this article might have surpassed Paddy in wealth but our dumb friends would still be shouting "I receive" in Church not knowing that their Pastors are also reading and picking lessons from this post.

I have been around here long enough not to be surprised at the comments. You will find better comments and analysis in Big Brother Nigeria threads.

I practically suspended all activities to read the story till end. How I wish I find business strategy stories like this to read every day free of charge here... I will be happier.

Politics / Re: 12 Months To The Election, Yet No Credible Candidate To Face Buhari? by OAM4J: 10:36am On Jan 29, 2018
Much as I wish to see better and stronger opponents with polical muscles to give Buhari a run for his money, which is good for the polity (whoever wins) but I'm yet to see none.

Even Obasanjo knows that his talk about the third force na just talk with little reality. I think his letter is just to absolve himself from all the blames and accusations beign thrown at Buhari.

But then, as they say, a day is too long in politics. Anything can still happen before 2019 to change the equation. But if election is to be conducted today, GMB will win landslide. Except the election will only be conducted on social media dominated by south.

seankay:
GEJ was a failure whose government looted Nigeria dry and plunged us into what we are suffering today so we booted him out thinking Buhari would bring the change he promised. Also, we thought he was going to fight corruption to a stand still but he proved us wrong and he has shown he has no plan nor pathway to put Nigeria on a path of recovery. Therefore, both APC and PDP has failed us having entrusted them with our votes at different times. They've proved to us that neither has the zeal to change Nigeria.

I hope Nigerians boot out Buhari and his cohorts out in 2019 but I hope they don't make the mistake of voting for Atiku or whoever APC and PDP has to offer. I hope we vote for a candidate we've tested and trusted just because he provided his plans on how to save Nigeria and not what he will construct nor build, not someone who will focus on zoning his appointments to satisfy every political zone but someone who has a plan on how to resolve the many banes in the country!

Nigerian top political parties don't always present ideal candidates. We have always had to choose the less evil candidate. 2017 might still be between Buhari and Atiku.

There is a stark illogic to the assertion that GEJ's incompetence justified voting/supporting Buhari. It's like saying we should vote or support Fani-Kayode or Rochas for president, if they ran, because Buhari is incompetent. There is no logic to supporting what should be an obviously unsuitable candidate to remove an unsuitable president.

A problem with the Buharists in the run up to the 2015 election was the gusto with which they painted Buhari as the second coming of a messiah. This was not a message of vote for Buhari because GEJ is awful, but vote for Buhari because he is what Nigeria needs.

But many of the anti-Buharist are about doing the same thing. I cannot count the number of times I have read them post or say it out that they will vote anything / anybody against Buhari. Not minding the competence of such person.

This country would not cease to amaze me. Just yesterday, 02-01-2018, there was fuel everywhere at filling stations. As at the same time last week, we were all grappling with the realities of no fuel at filling stations even at the height of the yuletide period. The question is, why is it only during Christmas we experience fuel scarcity? Please correct me if am wrong, there has NEVER been fuel scarcity during any of the religious festivities except Christmas. Is this deliberate or a calculated attempt to mess up the Christmas for Christians by the cabal from a section of this country? Do not get me wrong, I am not fanning the embers of religious sectarianism but just trying to reason.

I think its mostly due to anticipation of price increment at the beginning of the year, so most marketers start playing games with it in other to maximize gain in the event of price increase.

And for the i told you so crew, make no mistake about it nobody, atleast not me or prof regrets voting out the buffon called jonathan, my only regret is voting in another buffon

Lol. There should be no regret ending the regime of 'stealing is not corruption', I think things would have gotten worse than it is now if he had remain in power. Buhari was not the ideal candidate then, he was just the better option.

However if PDP as being run by the likes of Wike and Fayose aim is to present Atiku as Presidential candidate, then we might still be stuck with Buhari the lesser "buffon". IMO, Atiku cannot defeat Buhari even if he has the key to CBN vault like Jonathan. FFK was right: Buhari is like a small god in the North, forget about the noise on the social medias dominated by the south. And I don't see any other party having the muscle to win the presidency at this stage.

It is because none of you have genuine love for Nigeria. All you guys care about is the love you have for your favorite politicians. Some people's interest is to protect GEJ and PDP image while some others are just here to protect the image of APC and PMB, no real love for the country.

This is why what you see on political section is APC, PDP, IPOB, Afonja, SW, SE, North, GEJ, PMB, Zombie, Wailer etc because that is the only thing you guys care about. I don't think there are up to 1% of nairalanders that care about this country.

Sometimes it is better to even look at boobs in sexuality section than to comment on this section.

The bold is one of the examples of my observation. You don't just spit out your opinion / thinking for fact.

How do you know the bold for fact? Do you know how i feel about Nigeria or the state of mind of everyone to make such "reckless" statement? Have you conducted any research to this effect.

I am not even debating or arguing for or against the topic. I only noted my observation in the way some people debate/argue here.

non of this fools have actually disputed this facts...all they are screaming is blame after lying on the internet so much about how buoyant the economy was b4 buhari took power, now it is blame they are screaming. pigs and idiots!!!!!

Lol. I feel your pain.

It is difficult debating here these days. Reason some of us just read and move on. There are 2 categories of people here that are difficult to debate with. Those who see no wrong with their beloved in power and those who see no good with the ones they dislike in power.

You will only get sentiments instead of logic and objectivity, conjectures / fairytale instead of logic / comon sense and facts.

While we constantly disagreed with each other those days, we never got so passionate to throw away objectivity in our arguments and we would not substitute our personal opinions for facts. And facts must come from reliable and reputable source. We didn't even value wiki links as a reliable source of facts compare to the way people now take a Facebook post or a blog's bedroom conjectures and view points for fact.

And then only sound arguments with facts got liked by others. Imagine instead of someone disputing your post with sound counter argument, he only responded by calling you zombie and yet got many likes.

Believe me you have tried. I have to come out from my ghost mode to make this note.

Probably not the best week to sell Hazard...especially if you have Kane.

I'm out of patient for him. There are many prime cheaper midfielders that are in form and still having good fixtures.

Selling him will afford me extra cash I need to upgrade my third striker to Firmino especially this gameweek that Kane is not playing.
