I think this is deeper than just defecting from PDP to APC.
The enmity between Shekarau and Kwankaso is deep and long for those who know their story.
It is definitely not going to be easy for the two to drink from the same cup. |

Well nothing is wrong with it as long as he is using his personal money to buy it. Except that he might be breaking the contribution limit allowed under the Electoral law.
To the best of my knowledge, Yahaya Bello was already a very rich businessman before becoming a Governor. |

Its much better to share N10,000 each to millions of people to trade "Agbo jedi" than giving billions to few persons to buy private jets.
At least more people get to share the national cake. N10,000 goes a long way for some people |

Too bad. This is not good for Dakwanbo. Charity they say should begin at home. But then we all have siblings we don't agree with.
And to me, Dakwanbo is the sanest of all the pdp's presidential candidates even though I'm almost certain he won't get PDP's presidential ticket. |

I dont think IMF / World Bank loans are better either. And Chinese offer much lower interest than IMF/World Bank.
Loans generally should be taken when you are are sure you have the means of paying it back.
I see no reason blaming Chinese for tightening the cover of their exposure. All lenders do that now. |

I think PDP's presidential primary will be more interesting than the actual presidential election...
Many questions to be answered
- Who is more desperate and determined between Atiku and Saraki
- Who has more money to spend/waste?
- Will PDP reward loyalty, will candidates like Dankwambo, Markafi, Lamido and their likes who have been in PDP all the while get anything?
- How many candidates will decamp to another party or retire after the primary?
I really wanna see how PDP will handle the big losers, especially those who defected to PDP because they believe they can get PDP's presidential ticket....
PDP camp is really going to be interesting in days and weeks to come... |

imam07: My guy forget that his sister issue. They never fought. Bukola always plant his sister in opposition party to distabelise them. His sister Gbemi is bukola game player. I have heard of this conspiracy theory before, butt I don't believe it yet. You mean he planted his sister to contest the governorship of Kwara, letting his father campaign for her, while he supprted another candidate that eventually won to the public shame of his sister and father? I cannot believe his father and sister supported such conspiracy to their shame. Not a few people believe the shame retired the father from active politics which eventually led to his death. And can Gbemi really destabilize APC? I don't think she has such piwer and influence . |
Politics › Re: 7 Reasons Why Saraki is The Next President Of Nigeria by OAM4J: 2:39pm On Sep 01, 2018 |
raumdeuter: Point 1. Sarakis influence is only in Kwara State and if elections is between Buhari and Saraki, the North Central will be split into 2, Buhari winning Niger, Kogi and Nasarawa, Saraki winning Benue, Kwara . Plateau will be close, The NC was split in 2015 Babangida was sitting Governor in 2015 and did you see the vote? There was a 500k difference between Buhari and PDP despite a sitting president and sitting governor in PDP, 2019 will be even worse with Saraki as president
So nothing new here. There is no advantange for Saraki here
2. Saraki cannot deliver 6 NC states max he will get is 3 states.
3. You are deceiving yourself. where were these youths in 2015? Have you forgotten how Jnathan was jogging all over, buying musicians just to prove he is youth friendly and what did that get him?
4. Public perception this is one of Sarakis weaknesses. He is known to have started from APP, jumped to PDP in 2000, jumped to APC in 204, now back to PDP. His public perception is that he is unreliable and a snake. He betrayed everyone who has ever relied on him, betrayed Jonathan, betrayed APC by allying with opposition to become Senate president he even betrayed his father. Buhari even till today dis still known for his integrity and anti corruption stand, Saraki on the other hand is known to be corrupt, he oversaw the failure of 3 banks, he ensured budget padding and delay in budget passing, his links to Offa robbery is still there
5. This point is actually laughable. Saraki is the most detested politician among Yorubas. You saw his reception at the ojude oba in Ogun state. The entire Saraki family are hated everywhere in the Southwest. He has always denied his Yoruba ancestry and Hausas have always denied him too like they denied his father. I an even say Atiku will have a more favourable reception in the SW than Saraki
6. Power of which many? How many of them are actual power brokers in their state? All of them have personal ambitions, D you think Atiku who has been nursing the ambition of ruling Nigeria for almost 30yrs when Saraki was still in his 20's will suddenly abandon that and follow Saraki? Or is it Kwankwanso?
7. Which abysmal performance? Many people still believe that under Buhari corruption has reduced and he is doing a good job given the opposition of the senate
The NW, SW and NE the regions will the highest voting population are still with Buhari
Who will Saraki pick as his running mate? picks SE and he can be guaranteed of voting apathy in the SS. The SS were for PDP because of their man Jonathan, now if they have no candidate on the ballot, there is a huge chance Buhari even adds Edo, Cross River and 40% of Delta and 30% in Akwa Ibom My sentiments exactly. And with the current news flying around in Kwara with everyone deserting him including his own sister, I am not even sure if he is still in control of Kwara. We will only know how much influence he still has in Kwara after the 2019 elections. |
