This has been my position (reconciliation) since yesterday, irrespective of how difficult it seems. Politics is all about interests. If this is being sold as a Yoruba cause in the SW then, Tinubu himself, who is renowned as a good strategist has to fix some of these things because ultimately it is his ambition.

I have seen him meet privately with Osibanjo and publicly celebrate Dolapo his wife, despite how heated things got between both, post primaries. This things have to be mended, else, you people are taking a huge risk, that would end in disgrace. There are just too many cracks within the SW that needs to be mended.

Remember, PDP are a highly experienced bunch and they have the resources. They are not newcomers and they command loyalty across the nation. LP will take some numbers in the SW but it would be diabolical to allow PDP win 2-3 states in the SW because of frictions because the North will most likely protect their own.
grin

LP...? Maybe in Lagos. PDP winning even a State in SW? That ain't gonna happen.

Yes Sporting dey go champe. Come back? He signed 2yrs Contract, so he ain't coming back. If Sporting gonna pay his wages in full, then he should be freed.

Talks for Cristiano Ronaldo to Sporting on loan are underway. There is a photo circulating on social media that is said to be Ronaldo's car in the garage of Sporting's stadium, Estádio José Alvalade.

Lastly we concur!! I've been saying this for a long time. All these permutations are completely useless. A day is too long in politics, talk more of 6 months where soo many alignments and realignments take place.
Some people even change their minds on election day.

I was just looking at old voting numbers of the south east and realized something. Anambra, abia and imo have more than 5 million registered voters but delivered only 1.3 million votes. About 25% The apathy was too high. Unlike northern states that were delivering by as much as 60% turnout.

All these can change soon.

Glad you are being realistic finally. Its never late for your Party by the way. Nothing is impossible, but you Guys must start doing less work online and much work offline.

Anti spambot, well done..

Meanwhile, seeing a photo of this mentally unstable druggie making a mockery of Awolowo's legacy really broke me..

Political decisions in Yorubaland should aim to protect the welfare and interests of the Yoruba people before others.. Bringing this orangutan to Osun state only for him to desecrate Awolowo's statue is painful.

I am glad Poco lee gave APC the uppercut.
May thunder fire this clown and erosion wash away his carcass into River Niger where Iyemoja will use him for pepper soup..

If anyone should be able to sacrifice anything, it should be Aregbe. He was given control of AC base in Alimosho, took him to Osun and talk with Baba Bisi Akande to hand over his structure to him in 2007 to become Gov. Even those that had reservation about his candidacy still went ahead to support him and ensured he became Gov. Immediately after his tenure, he was made a minister of the nation. Please how has the party not been fair to him?

He says he doesn't want Oyetola and that he was imposed on him, did everyone want him when Tinubu made sure everyone step down for him in 2007? Oyetola has even done 4yrs, what's hard in negotiating a deal that ensures the next candidate of the party comes from his camp?

He betrayed the party that has given him everything he has anount to politically and I hope he get whatever comes to him.

APC must have learned their lesson. Reconciliation gonna be taken seriously now. Tinubu, perhaps, assumes SW Votes already in the Bag, definitely Osun Results gonna make him sit up and do the needful.

By the way, LP are lowkey PDP Members. They're simply disguising and most of them gonna vote Atiku.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Oasis007(m): 6:59pm On Jul 17, 2022
Osun state has one of the highest debt to revenue ratios in Nigeria. For a state with so much mineral potentials, especially Gold. The Nigerian constitution keeps the people poor by denying the people the right to their resources.

The next governor will also dance around the revenue issue until the issue of true federalism is addressed. If he attempts any more loans, Osun will become totally bankrupt. If oil prices drop and FAAC drops, he will cry hot tears. He cannot afford to balloon the workforce.

His pension liability to GDP ratio is also high, so the state must cough out pensions in addition to its huge wages. It's a fiscal conundrum...

But what exactly is it with APC in the southwest always labelling people who do not bend to their whims and caprices as betrayers? I've been seeing APC supporters on social media calling Aregbe a betrayer just like they did Osinbajo prior to the presidential primaries.

I mean I don't get! These same people acknowledged the fact that Oyetola was never Aregbe's choice in 2018. This guy wanted to have a say in choosing his successor but had no choice but to let the party leader's cousin get the ticket in a controversial manner. It was obvious Oyetola was never going to rate Aregbe since he wasnt cool with his emergence as the governor.

So fast forward to 2022, Aregbe was not having it and supported someone else who eventually lost the primary to Oyetola. Now he chose to work against Oyetola knowing his 2nd term was not going to benefit him in any way just like the the first term..... And then he's being labeled betrayer.

I mean Tinubu practically selects who becomes governor in Lagos ever since he left, but he would not allow any other person weild such power for reasons best known to him; not even Aregbe his age long ally.

Does it mean anybody that dares to dream to be a powerful person like Tinubu automatically becomes a betrayer? Shey na cult?
Aregbe is never a Betrayal. He's a real man that knows his right from left.

APC won his Unit and LG by the way.

So what is going to be Aregbe's profit now with this loss?

He has no spot in PDP. His party has lost control of the seat.

So wetin him gain now?[/color]
He has lost his base/structure in Lagos (Alimosho). He has no other choice but to hold on to his Structure in Osun (TOP).

If Oyetola wins second term, his political career is gone for good. Right now, they gonna wrestle the control of the Party from Oyetola Camp and hopefully take over it.

Oyetola is media shy. It's one of his nemesis but it's not true that he didn't try to reconcile with Aregbe, infect they did several times but Aregbe already decided it's his way or the highway. Even last week or so, he was invited for another round on reconciliation talk and he refused again.

If a man doesn't want to reconcile, you leave him alone. I wish them best of luck in opposition.

Let's see how Adeoti, Saleem Najeem, Kolapo Alimi and the rest will further their ambition in opposition with a powerful ruling family like Adeleke.
Is it not Osun again? Except Ademola surprised everyone, he ain't gonna spend more than one term in office.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Oasis007(m): 5:53pm On Jul 17, 2022
Oyetola inherited 170+ Billions Debt. Osun monthly IGR is less down 4 Billions. He didn't borrow a dime, yet paying full Salaries at when due and did some infrastructural projects as well.

He tried to be honest.

"All my Campaign promises no fit work, except you help with loans sir o".

Modified: So Adeleke is partially fulfilling Aregbe's plan.

grin

Adeleke family is loved in Osun, because of Isiaka Adeleke. He did well when he was Governor. PDP knew it and went for it twice. Ogunbiyi ought to be the flagbearer of PDP, but that would have been walkover for them.

Also, if the Contest is between Aregbesola and Ademola.... I am 100% sure APC would win. Oyetola is too quiet and stubborn. It takes him nothing to reconcile with Aregbe, but seems he's banking on his Uncle to win second term.

He's never popular, not is he loved by the People. When Oyinlola was Governor, he used to hold a monthly media chat with the People of Osun. Aregbe did same, but the Dummy cares less.

Ain't pity him at all. Let him park well jhaare.

Imole de!!!!
