afrodoc2: West Ham are 5th and are in good form while almost all our senior forwards and half of our midfielders are injured. It will be a very difficult match and the likelihood of dropping points is high.
Though Old Trafford is no longer a Fortress, but we should try be like Man City that are likely to win Matches with different Lineups.
I won't even be surprised if most of our Players are well paid than theirs. I am so much tired of our Players Doc, is it possible to replace all of them at once? Perhaps we can open gofundme to get new Players for the Club as Fans.
Illimitable: Nearly every team in the league can build from the back when pressed apart from Ole’s boys. Apply small pressure and you see them misplace a simple pass.
The lack of coaching is so obvious. All you see is Lindelof gesticulating with his arm and telling team mates where they should be. If there was adequate training, he shouldn’t be doing that.
Every player should know where to be to receive a pass in the defence. Leeds have just been passing their way around Chelsea players pressing them. It’s so beautiful to watch.
Our Players can be annoying eh. You'll keep wondering if they are indeed Professionals or not.
larride: If they don’t have time on the training field to work on little details to help them press better and efficiently, what exactly do they do in training then?
Solskjær on playing higher up the pitch: "Of course you do want to press high. We want to press high but it is about finding the right moment. We don’t really have too much time on the training field to work on little details but we are trying to drip feed them in."
Solskjær: "No I don’t think any of those [Pogba, Van de Beek & Mata] will be available [against West Ham]. We hope maybe before the International break. Maybe, but I'm not sure."
Solskjær: "David [De Gea] is back in Manchester. So he is quarantining or self-isolating. He is touch and go for Sunday I think because I can’t really know when he came back so I am not really sure if it was Monday or Tuesday that he arrived back in Manchester."
afrodoc2: Franck Kessie has been good for a long time. I actually think his Milan move was a mistake as he somehow lost his way in the confusion that has plagued that club in recent years.
The problem is that he is African and has been playing for Cote d'Ivoire for 7 years and he is claiming 24. Considering African age he must be very close to 30 by now.
Finally any decent midfielder would look good against our midfielders. We are the only top club that plays 2 central midfielders that can't receive a pass on the half-turn (foundation of midfield play).
Bolded do make me cry at times. Aint we tired of double dm pivot?!
There is no need to take back Dalot from AC Milan, rather we add €20m and get Kessie. Our Midfielders made him look like Seedof Yesterday, perhaps he's as good as he played last Night.
He's strong on the Ball, can shoot, energetic, skillful and can play both DM and CM comfortably. Kessie, Pogba and Bruno Combo won't be bad sha.
I want to believe John gonna prioritized replacing Matic and Mata with fantastic, world class CM and AM respectively. Both are done for good. Mata should be seeking coaching Badge by now.
