“Aaron is a young, hungry player and eager to learn and that’s important at his age. I am delighted he has signed with us and we look forward to continuing his tremendous development so far.”

It's cos of jack of all trade players dat we ended up with Young and Darmain. Axel is a defender let him develop there, we need specialist players not goalkeepers that can play as a striker. No more time for experiments. You jez charged your Phone or renewed Subscription?! I don bounce on the Matter O jhaare! Nice Inputs though. |

afrodoc2: Tuanzebe is going to be 22 in a few months. At a stage in which his mates are cementing top level status if not world class status you want him to go and start learning another position?
Why would we do that when there are other players his age or a little younger who are better in that position?
And why would we waste the last 4yrs (or more) of his career. Hopefully he's not loaned out again.... I wish he's given Opportunity to partner Lindelof during the Pre-Season Matches, to prove himself and readiness. |

chidexxy007: Longstaff is a midfielder na, whats Axel's business with midfield?
Axel should just aim to axe either Jones or Smalling if/when given the chance next season. How are you sure Longstaff would come good as a Midfielder for United?! Axel played as a Midfielder for United, I think in one or two Matches, and he didn't do worse. Though I prefer him to develop his Game as a CB, but he's good enough to develop his Game as a defensive Midfielder as well. |

charlesemeka85: Allnigeriasoccer.com looks at the key numbers from the Super Eagles 1-0 victory against Guinea in their second game at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
According to whoscored.com, Nigeria had 10 shots on goal compared to the Syli Stars 8, with the Super Eagles recording four on target.
Arsenal star Alex Iwobi had a game-high three shots and his two shots on target was a joint game-high along with Guinea's Ibrahima Cissé.
Odion Ighalo, top scorer in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, was paid special attention by the Guinean defence, highlighted by the fact he was the most fouled (3) Super Eagles player along with Wilfred Ndidi, behind only Guinea's Bordeaux star François Kamano who won four fouls.
Chelsea center back Kenneth Omeruo (4), Porto defender Chidozie Awaziem (5) and Levante's Moses Simon (4) led the way in aerial duels, tackles and key passes respectively.
Wilfred Ndidi was the Super Eagles player with the highest number of touches, 71 in total, seven more than the next man Kenneth Omeruo. Guinea's Issiaga Sylla racked up a game-high 85 touches.
Of the 22 players who started the game, Stoke City's Oghenekaro Etebo had the best passing accuracy with a 92.5 percent pass completion rate.
Ahmed Musa and Moses Simon were the Super Eagles top performers in terms of dribbles having completed two each, one less than the top player Ibrahima Traoré.
Omeruo had a team-high five clearances, one less than Issiaga Sylla, and the Chelsea defender also recorded a joint team-high three interceptions along with Ola Aina Cc Humility017 Pay Attention to the bolded..... While re-watching the Match. |

Humility017: defensively he did well but offensively he wasn't impressive... I could barely watch him take on the guinea defenders one on one....
he missed a couple of such opportunities. The highest successful take-ons in the whole 90min+ was 3 and he had 2. Also had an Assist to his Names. Forced many Corners which one eventually resulted to the Goal that gave us 3pts. It was a tactical Match, Guinea didn't come to respect us and get humbled, rather to play. Calmly rewatch the Match with open Mind, and trust me, you gonna see what you missed due to your Obsession with Chuks. |
