I have no doubt in my mind that Ogu and Agu would be better than Onazi and Joel. I mean even you and I can be better than those two. They're like training cones in this game.

LMAO....... but you no lie o!
Seriously, I would have preferred the Nwakali Brothers to the Tools. Also, wouldn't have minded to call Samuel Kalu to replace the injured Moses Simon.

Mujtahida...... I wish you are seeing this Match, you would have seen what we are saying about Iwobi. He's far better in the Middle than on the Wing.

Joel should be dropped abegi! He has nothing positive to offer the Team. Onazi has lost it completely, would have preferred the Nwakali Brothers to the Pair of Onazi and Joel.

So far, Iwobi is a waste on the Wing. We said it but we are almost crucified. Shehu is beginning to show he's not a natural RB. Playing him as a RB at the Mundial is a Disaster in waiting.

Finally, we are too slow, and ain't playing like a professional Team at all. This is definitely a good Test for the Lads, I ain't surprised with our lackadaisical Performances so far, coz I envisaged it.

Though I will never accept he's a Tribalist, but he acts immaturely too much. He's a grown Adult for God's sake?! Why can't he emulate Tbaba1234, Kog45 and other Elders on the Thread?!

Its not all types of Fabric you spread in the Sun, and I think he should know better. You don't need to engage Everyone cos he's becoming a Source of Jokes for some Dudes on this Platform.

Some are engaging him, simply to pull his Legs - yet he would fall for it and start littering Pages with Junks. Even K.omekn is simply using him, taking his Advantage to sell his Concepts on this Thread, yet he couldn't decipher it.

It's getting more frustrating than boring Sir. I've done my best to scroll over his Posts, but Folks engaging him are kinda making it difficult for me.

I have always advised you to be civil when you engage me.
Like I have told you before the time I started supporting this club we were in Liverpool's shadow. I don't know when you started but I am willing to bet it was during the glory days of Fergie.
When I started Tommy Docherty was the manager and the only thing I remember the team winning was an FA cup in 77.
So I guess I have seen both sides of the divide and I am liable to be less hot headed and more likely to give any manager more time to achieve his target.
Like I said Mourinho is entitled to one more season to get it right.

edi287:
I.e as an inverted winger. A few people have said the same. It honestly depends on who is playing in the middle. He can obviously swap positions with an Ozil but not a Mikel. This is why I've been advocating for moving Mikel a bit deeper. Play Iwobi or even Etebo (if you're afraid of Iwobi's workrate) in front. When you have Iwobi - Etebo - Vic Moses or Simon Moses - Iwobi - Vic Moses behind Ighalo/Iheanacho, what you have is a very mobile and fluid front 4 capable of interchanging position at will.
A Mikel as a Dlp can still be a big creative influence. Build up play will be better and they'll still be enough creativity in the final third.
That's exactly what most Dudes here don't wanna understand. Comparing Iwobi at Arsenal with Iwobi in GWG is absolutely wrong.

You've really addressed it clearly in the bolded Parts. For Iwobi to thrive, he must play behind the Striker [as a 10 or 8] , but right now we've got too many DMs/CMs in the Squad hence Mikel can't be added to the List.

I would have preferred your Concept if I'm in charge, cos its a great Idea - apparently we gonna feel and enjoy the fluidity of the Team as well as entertaining Transition of Ball from Defence to Attack.

However, Rohr ain't gonna play Mikel in a Deeper Role, the Reason is; I'm a bit convinced Joel will make the final List. He's gonna play in a Deeper Role slightly behind Mikel as a CM, while either of Ndidi or Onazi plays as a DM.

I won't be surprised if Ogu is eventually but unfortunately dropped from the 23-Man List. Guess you wanna know the Reason?! Onazi and Ndidi as DMs, Agu and Joel as CMs, Obi and Etebo (based on Rohr's Tactics so far) as AMs.

Instead of Etebo as an AM, I would have preferred Iwobi as an AM while Etebo is classed among the Forward as a Winger. He gets the Qualities to excel as a Winger not as an attacking Midfielder.

No you need to read because what you are saying now has already been said before

i explained in details what most 4-2-3-1 is all about, you just dey go back and forth repeating what has been said before
grin

Perhaps you've led many Dudes astray with your crass Details. I can bet it you're simply following the Team emotionally and sentimentally Sir.

Tactically, Rohr played two Formations mostly during the qualifying Matches. Offensively the Team played 4 - 3 - 3 while reverting to 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 defensively.

Sir, football has transformed from an Art to a Science. It requires paying Attentions to every Detail. It's easier for Players like VicMo, Simon and Musa to perform with the Tactics than Iwobi - playing on the Wing.

Do you care to know why? They get the Pace and the Work-rate far better than Iwobi. Seem you think Arsenal played 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 Formation in the just concluded Season?!

Once again Sir, Football ain't an Art anymore, the Epoch has died with the Samba Football. At the Moment, football has transformed to a Science - take Germany and Pep tutored Teams as Studies to get clear Picture.

if Mr Mujtahida and Icon04 can remember i actually talked about that(your second to the last paragraph) If you can agree that he can play in that right side or left in arsenal his club, what is your problem with him doing it in Nigeria

And no the problem is not maths or further maths, the problems is patient and reading and not jumping to conclusion.
Tactics......! playing on the Side(s) of the Midfield doesn't mean you are a Winger, wing-forward precisely. Ask yourself this simple Question pls....... does Arsenal play on the Wing?! Do they play with Wingers?!

If we are talking of being patient, read before jumping to Conclusion; then I suggest you need to heed your own Advice. You really don't care whatever the Points anyone gives as far as its contrary to your view...... why?!

Can you compare all our Wingers based on their Stats and perhaps make your Conclusions on who deserves to be play on the Wing?!

Wo, ko ye mi rara. We are afraid of midfield collapse but we have no plan to accommodate it in case it happens. Not that it has not been happening ooo so that one can be excused if no plan B. It has been happening, time after time. Iwobi himself noticed it in the course of the Poland and Serbia friendlies and drifted into the middle (disobediently as one foreign writer put it ). Rohr deployed him specifically there against Congo.

My brother take solace in the coach's action. Shikena
Failure won't do him good at all, coz Every Football-loving Nigerian is an Analyst. Despite the Loss of the B-Team to A. Madrid, they still earned Accolades and Assurances from Nigerian Fans.

Kelechi Brothers, Musa, Muhammad and Co trend on Twitter partially with People calling for their immediate Inclusion in the A-Team, it happened on Nairaland FP too, even on this Thread.

Nigerians are fickle-minded, we are quick forgotten. Forget that he qualified us for the World Cup, if he fails honorably, Fans might understand and take solace from finest Ball on display from the Eagles. However if he fails tactically and woefully, Lord..... I pity the Day he appended his Siggy on the Contract Extension Documents.

Joebie said it well- 'I'm more concerned with our bench as much as I am concerned with our starting eleven'

If Shehu starts you have confidence that Ebuehi is on the bench. If Ebuehi starts, you have confidence that Shehu is on the bench.

Remove Mikel and enjoy craw craw football because nobody to even put there to offer even the faintest glimmer of creativity.
Do we really have a Plan B at all?! Is Mikel a Machine?! Even Machine gets breakdown sometimes. You can't keep playing for Mikel 90mins in every Match without him getting fatigued.

Mikel can be subbed for Iwobi, probably in the 75th Minute upward. Iwobi and Co are young, they are the Future of the Eagles for God's sake.

Does he get the Pace to utilize a counter-attack Move?! Why on the Wing? Why not in the middle as the Team's Joker?!
