I'm highly disappointed in Mr. Project Aswear! The Pitch is damn poor, and kinda making the Match non-interesting to the Eyes.

Lokosa is balling and workaholic on the Flank. I heard he's 19yrs old. grin

The following Players in the Lineup are on their final Trial..... Make or Mar!

1 - Uzoho

2 - Echiejile

3 - Lokosa

4 - Simmy

5 - Joel* (fitness Trial)

What are you going to the WC with 5 CBs for?
Sir, then let the best between them make the final List..... based on Merits. 4 CBs is all we need to have a balance Squad.

which one is defender's body? The body wey Eze get pass the one wey Egwueke been get? How far that one? Na body dey play ball?
grin

Lol...... tactically he's gonna be useful in some Games. For instance let's say we are leading the Croats by a Lone Goal, fully lock down the Midfield and they couldn't penetrate rather resorting to wing-play and crossing.

Don't you think we gonna need a Defender like him to deal with aerial Threats?!

safarigirl:
Agbo is not the one blocking Eze.
Did I say he's the one?! Guess questioning the fruitful-less invitations of Agbo is wrong ba?! Eze gonna start Today's Friendly, whereas Agbo still gonna be glued to the Bench.

To me Eze is more useful to the Team than Agbo cos I've not seen the latter repping the GWG at any Level.

Ezenwa been there while we qualify does not change the fact that his not good enough, no surprise with Rohr inviting and keeping fate with another keeper.

Can you highlight or refer to a Post where I made the bolded Statement?!

Eze is not on the level of either Awaziem or Omeruo yet. I know because i have seen his games in Bulgaria. There is still some (a lot) rawness there. He can get better though.
Yes he's not but he's still needed for the Mundial for tactical Reason. Aside from Balogun and Ekong, Eze stands out based on height, ruggedness and Stamina.

Agbo has got multiple Invitations, yet he has never played even for just a Minute for the Team, thus it won't be bad to drop him for Eze.

I trust Eze's rawness is being refined perhaps separately during training Seasons, and I'm having the feeling he gonna make the 25-Man List.

they have been disappointing so far, eze can't make the worldcup if awaziem and Omeruo are fit
They?! Did you forget we qualified for the World Cup with Ezenwa between the Sticks?!

Based on Merit or Sentiment?! Eze has the Body-frame to excel as a Defender vis-a-vis Omeruo and Awaziem?! Secondly can you prove it that both Omeruo and Awaziem can be trusted in a 2-Man Defence?!

my brother, he won't

one of Agu and Agbo will make the 25 man list instead
I will rather drop both and pick Eze for the Final List. Are you comfortable with our Defence?! Aside from Ekong and Balogun, who else is capable among our Defenders - sentiment apart?!

In a 3-man Defence, Awaziem and Omeruo can be trusted, but in a 2-Man Defence....... taah!

Stephen has the Height and Stamina to succeed as a Defender. He's only needed to be panel-fitted a bit to bring out the best in him.

Rohr is likely to play 4 - 3 - 3 Formation with the Trio of Lokosa, Simmy and Iheanacho leading the Attack.

Hence it's very likely for Lokosa to play as a Wing-Forward (Winger), perhaps on the left Wing, while Iheanacho plays on the right Wing and Simmy as the Striker.

Cc Mujtahida.

Lokosa on the wings. Hmmmm another Uzoenyi
grin

Didn't know much about him though, but just hoping he makes the Final List as a Boost for the NPFL Players.

I wouldn't mind to play Ebuehi on the Wing to be candid. He's technical, pacy and can dribble. Ryan Sessegnon started the Season as a FB for Fulham, but eventually gets converted to a Wing-Forward.

Gareth Bale also started his Career as a LB, but Today he's a deadly Winger. Ebuehi is kinda too light as a Defender. He can be bullied by strong Wingers. I would rather exploit his technicality, Skills, Pace and Brilliance as a Winger.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Oasis007(m): 7:06pm On May 27, 2018
There is no need for Replacement, cos Rohr still gets 6 more Players to drop from the List. Lokosa might eventually gate-crash and becomes a good Ambassador for the NPFL at the Mundial.

Let's trust Rohr's Decision, whatever he decides with the List so be it.

Not exactly true, Simon was rotated several times during the season.

Also, Kalu had injury issues at the end of the season and was not fully fit.
Check your Facts clearly Sir, coz that's inaccurate and misleading. Simon played 29 Matches for Gent this Season and started 28 Matches out it.

https://www.foxsports.com/soccer/gent-team-stats?competition=0&season=2017

He was injured and out for Six Weeks, otherwise he would have played in all Matches for the Club.

https://www.completesportsnigeria.com/injured-moses-simon-ruled-six-weeks/

However, in the case of Kalu, he played 32 Matches, but started 22 Matches out of it.

https://www.foxsports.com/soccer/gent-team-stats?competition=0&season=2017

Kalu had injury issues yet he played in all the last Matches for the Club, though as a Sub?!

Lets be more objective Sir.

The Belgium league is not covered on whoscored.com so the stats are incomplete. It is not one of the leagues on that platform.

Simon Moses started several games on the bench, same did Kalu and Esiti.

He is important to their team but so his Kalu. Your initial statement is inaccurate as they are not in direct competition with each other.

The bolded is not true. They play different positions in Gent and are not in direct competition.

Simon Moses plays mainly on the left, Kalu plays mainly on the right.

And Simon Moses has been fit several times and started on the bench. The Gent coach likes to rotate his team.
grin

The Key Words are; at the crucial moment for Gent....... kindly check the whoscored Stats below Sir. Why did Kalu, a fit and in form Player relegated to the Bench for a Player just returning from Injury to be accommodated in the Lineup?!

https://www.whoscored.com/Players/202185/Show/Moses-Simon

https://www.whoscored.com/Players/312705/Show/Samuel-Kalu

It's apparent the Manager believed he gets lots to offer the Team at the moment than his Nigerian Brother, hence he did the needful to accommodate him in the Lineup.

this is precisely why i began the debate. if you read me well i use the word "opinion", "judgment". if its based on those two words then fine. but as per facts its not so clear cut unlike in Vicmos's case. ultimately one's opinion or judgment might be prove to be correct
More so...... argument ain't won by being judgmental, and in my Opinion the Purpose of a Debate is for the Audience to learn. Let's drop Stats to justify our Stance for the sake of the Audience.

What makes Iwobi a better Winger ahead of Simon and the Reason we are convinced he should be the first Choice tactically and Technically?!

Bar Injury or Fitness Problem, Simon is a Starter for Gent as a Winger. Even when he returned from Injury during the crucial moment of the Season for Gent, Kalu was sacrificed and relegated to the Bench as a Super-Sub despite been in form of his life.

Whoever envisaged Musa could deliver 2 super Goals against Argies in the last WC?! He was played on the left, hence he had the freedom and audacity to cut in and shoot.

When was the last time he played majorly on the left Wing for the Eagles, especially under Rohr?! Simon is also more effective on the left Wing, but the Position is a no go Area as far as VicMo is in the Lineup.

Mujtahida:
thank you!!!!!. thats just my point beautifully summarized
We can't speak of what's gonna happen in the Future since we ain't God. Also we can't decide who starts for the Team at the Mundial since we ain't in charge.

Technically the Coach might opt for Iwobi, but there are some Matches that tactically Rohr will have no other Choice but to start Simon and keeps Iwobi on the Bench.

We know all those.

The question is who is Rohr's first choice as a winger between Iwobi and Simon?
At the bolded Sir..... we can only talk about who was not is. Until we see the Lineup in a competitive Match at the Mundial precisely, then we gonna have the Answer.

Change is constant, and the only permanent thing in life is Change, thus between now and then anything can happen Sir.
