These are rubbish numbers sha, 11mw would barely power 1k homes, these can't be state level attempts at power generation.

.....the project ís just a tip, this phase is meant to power the Light Up Oyo project [street lights]. It will also power State's Secretariat, 12 healthcare facilities, Lekan Salami Sports Complex at Adamasingba, Judicial complexes at Iyaganku and Ring Road.

Other Facilities are, Oyo State House of Assembly, a selection of Schools within a defined catchment from the generation plant and the Moniya Business District.

......Power is no longer under exclusive list, thus our Governors should wake up. In SW, Lagos, Oyo and Ekiti have passed Electricity Power Sector Bill into law, which mean they can generate, transmit and distribute electricity locally.

Oyo State is building 11mw hybrid Power Station [Solar and Gas], its 90% completed. Ekiti State has commissioned 3.6mw IPP, so slowly but surely we are getting there.

One of the biggest mistakes by the Nigerian government was the manner in which the Electricity privatization took place.

Shoddy crooks being granted licenses when proper foreign investors with documented history also bid for it.

The crooks thought it was gonna be massively profitable without the requisite huge capital investment in it. Now most of them have been taken over by AMCON

.....if possible, they should revoke their licenses. They are not ready to serve stable electricity, they just wanna milk Nigerians, especially facilities without meters.

TCN must be sold too. You can't sell GenCo and DisCo but hold on to TCN.....why?! Privatize all.

Most intervention by the CBN currently are based on rates that are market determined and at low volumes too

As an example, the N1251 that was sold to BDC was based on the "low" on the previous day
