You will see the hypocrisy of the same people supporting Chioma now defending Airpeace and bullying the other person.

Maybe Airpeace will make the person brand ambassador and sack his pilot and not defend the integrity of his business. cheesy
grin

......We all know what are doing. During the lockdown, same firm supported Government with Paliatives, but coz of Chioma we must destroy it.

Omo….Erisco is still treating Chioma's case with kid gloves. I personally believe he is too lenient as a businessman in the Nigerian context, which is why discussions about her rights persist. At this point, Chioma should be receiving treatment similar to what Madam Kemi received, at the very least or worse. Make Erisco no gree for anybody!!

I really hope that the Illegal detention charge sticks, and there is an out of court settlement.

Because once the judge strikes out that, na prison straight.

There has to be some form of protection for businesses. Somebody should not just jump online and defame a business, when they have no proof at all.

grin

.....I honestly hope they settle it out of court but her fans are taking blackmailing to another level. They trended that Chioma lost her Pregnancy in detention few days ago. Someone that's presently MIA, how did she lose her pregnant in Detention again?!

Moreso, there is more we don't know. She mentioned two tomotoes pastes in the same post which she rates better. One is being produced by an international firm while the other by a Nigerian owned firm.

She is also regarded an Influencer, how are we sure the post ain't sponsored by either of competitors?!

review on Facebook about a product, and include a picture, yet you don't know where you bought it or how you got it?

And then you made this testimony at the Police Force HQ, Abuja?

No wonder her lawyer is just repeating the Illegal detention story, like his life depends on it. That has to be the only line to hold on to.

......and suddenly some international media ran the story same day. If Erisco relocates his Business to Benin Republic or Ghana now, same emergency Human Right Activists would be posting; Nigeria is doomed, Investors are leaving in drove cos of hostile business environment, blah blah blah.

Woke culture has come to live with us sheikh, nothing we can do but just to fight for our defence. Had it been she succeeded in pulling down erisco, few people will talk about the job losses, family struggles and the potential debt that would be waiting for him. But now that he decided to shake her body nigerian army and Boko Haram have united to cancel the man forgetting who first looked for trouble without proof.

Jah bless you for the underlined, but its detention that matters now not the potential damage of her reckless action.

We all know what we are doing in Nigeria.

E no easy egbon. Even if you are successful in getting your capital, factors like poor electricity, roads, economy , competition, lazy or deceitful staff, paying bribes to advance and other stuff have killed many potential big businesses. That's why even though I don't support the ladies jailing I can still see why he did that.
grin

......we too like to dey cap anyhow in Naija. SheDeyDetention for how many hours?! VeryDarkMan spent 2 weeks in Detention, yet I have not seen cancelling campaigns against those that put him there.

Chioma didn’t exceed 48hrs in detention [not jail/prison], alas United Nation must get involved. We are all celebrating Air Peace successful trip to UK, but just imagine someone posted that he/she was on board the maiden flight to London and almost got heartattack cos the Pilots seem incompetent, what do you think would happen?!

Anyone familiar with Facebook knows the only reason she wrote it that way was to prevent herself from being banned by Facebook.

Facebook like twitter and nairaland has a spambot that bans you when you use certain words.

There's no denying of the fact that she meant killing.

Afrodoc put it brilliantly when he said its alagidi vs alaigboran

I would have handled it differently if I was in either of their shoes.

Nigerians can defend rubbish eh. Maybe Erisco should have invited her, then make her the Product's Ambassador I guess?!

SMH.

My concern in this whole issh is how businesses can be protected in situations like this.

Should every business be bullied to begging a faceless online post, even when they are lying or have never even used the product at all?

In the video Ibime posted, they asked Chioma where the product she used was. She said she threw it away. They asked her where she bought it. She said she does not know.

So, even in the lens of objectivity, Chioma could be lying about using the paste sef.

And then you go about saying it was filled with Sugar and its killing people
grin

......some folks actually, perhaps emotionally, believe the man should have done nothing. He should have let her run down his business for clout chasing.

Imagine her saying she forgot where she bought it?! NAFDAC certified the product(s) but we should have ignored a regulating body's certification for clout Chaser's review.

If she didn't mention 'ki****ing part, Erisco wouldn't have got her arrested. You can't spoil my product(s) and expect me to do nothing. Some of us do say it here that its hard to run business successfully in Nigeria. Few that struggling hard to build their businesses in the country, we still wanna run it down.

El Rufai already raised Kaduna IGR to enviable heights before leaving office.

Last year, Kaduna made 82 billion naira from IGR.

Uba Sani should get its act together. Kaduna is among the highest state with IGR before he took over, he should explain to the citizens of the state how the IGR of the states has dried up.

“Under capitalism, the financial sector was adjunct to the real sector. The financial sector served as the circulatory system, efficiently allocating funds to the most productive agents within the real or manufacturing sector in order to keep that sector vibrant. Such vibrancy generates employment for the bulk of the people. High levels of employment give birth to stability and a standard of living conducive to democratic aspirations.

"This complementary scenario no longer exists. The financial sector no longer is satisfied with being the branch. To a large degree, it has assumed the role of the tree and its trunk. The financial sector no longer complements the real sector. It has grown too large in comparison. Its appetite is ceaseless and grows with the eating. Instead of feeding funds to the real sector, it now chokes the real sector. Leaving many otherwise productive people and companies struggling to draw water from an empty well.

"Under capitalism, the financial sector invested in production of tangible goods. Today, the financial sector specializes in financial investment. Having become insatiable, it rather invests in itself than invest in the rest of the economy so that other sectors prosper with it. Financial speculation used to be the province of a small set of risk takers. Today, it is the fad.

"Cautious and prudent bankers were once sentinels of the financial sector. Things are different under financialism. Caution has been tossed to the four winds as the economy was tossed to the wolves. The banker who keeps his wits to function in the best traditions of banking is the exception.

"I salute those men and women who honor their professional tenets while others turned esteemed financial houses into lax casinos. However, their demonstrations of individual propriety proved insufficient to halt the systemic distortion that occurred. Today, we have a big problem”.

- President Bola Ahmed Tinubu( 2013 - culled from his Book, Financialism; Water from an Empty Well.)

I still haven't seen anything to criticise Tinubu on except corruption which is a fact of life in Nigeria. All steps he's taken have been from the neoclassical textbook and required bravery which I don't think any other President would have. The man is really a free market capitalist.
