OasisX. Because of Allah, read this 🙏

Ahbeg no vex, I need a loan to start a campus business to be repaid on your terms. I'm embarrassed seeing that I have to beg people for a help when I can do something for myself but capital is the issue.

Help me out For Allah's sake.....and I can provide necessary documents for assurance....
....I genuinely have you in mind and hoping we can actually benefit from each other on long term plan.

I once mentioned on the other thread that I plan to setup a project in Nigeria and I can tell you its in progress right now.

I am spending a lot on the project to meet my expected standard, hence financially drained myself too though for greater opportunity.

Kindly be patient bro. I pray to Allah to ease your pain and struggles. I believe it will be well for you and everyone as well soon.

A senior Advocate of Nigeria, Olisa Agbakoba, yesterday said the Federal Government can generate N8 trillion yearly from marine and blue economy.

He said if Nigeria taps many aspects of the sector, it will get enough money for the economy.
He said: “All development plans of the FGN in the past ignored the maritime sector which is the largest outside oil and gas, and this was very detrimental to the public revenue.

“With a ministry on marine and blue economy, it is hoped that policy will be developed to tap into this enormous economy that was ignored for so long.

“Reports estimate that Apapa ports can generate N20 billion a day, which is about N8 trillion annually.

“There are so many aspects to this sector that Nigeria ought to look for money to develop our economy.”

Mr. Kolawole Johnson, said with the creation of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hit a jackpot.

Johnson said: “The President obviously hit a jackpot with the creation of the ministry to unlock the unimaginable potentials of blue economy in the country.

“The maritime sector, at this critical point of our national life, holds the key to the nation’s growth and developments. It is cardinal to Nigeria’s economic growth.

“Stakeholders, who have been advocating for this attention for years, said it could generate as much as over N7 trillion for the country annually.
“The benefits will spread across the country.”

STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE

PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU APPROVES ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL CNG INITIATIVE; TARGETS NATIONWIDE ADOPTION WITH WORKSHOPS FOR SMOOTH TRANSITION TO CNG-FUELLED VEHICLES

In furtherance of his commitment to easing the impact of fuel subsidy removal on Nigerians by reducing energy costs, President Bola Tinubu has approved the establishment of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI).

This transformative initiative is poised to revolutionize the transportation landscape in the country, targeting over 11,500 new CNG-enabled vehicles and 55,000 CNG conversion kits for existing PMS-dependent vehicles, while simultaneously bolstering in-country manufacturing, local assembly and expansive job creation in line with the presidential directive.

The landmark initiative, which comprises of a Comprehensive Adoption Strategy, will include the following: Empowering Workshops Programme w/ Nationwide Network of Workshops, Local Assembly and Job Creation as key points of emphasis with an initial focus on mass transit systems and student hubs in order to significantly reduce transit costs for the general populace in the immediate term.

Furthermore, in line with the PCNGI's determination to ensure a seamless integration of CNG utility within the current midstream and downstream energy value chain to support its sustainability, the PCNGI will facilitate the provision of workshops across all geopolitical zones and states with essential kits and comprehensive training for newly employed staff, thus creating new opportunities for technical skill development and employment for Nigerians.

The new nationwide network of workshops, to be established through the initiative, would ensure widespread access and demand side utilization of CNG technology and CNG-related expertise, thereby facilitating smoother transitions for vehicle owners at the wider benefit of the Nigerian economy.

Under the aegis of the PCNGI, the following strategic objectives will be achieved:

— The development of new stakeholder-operated Intrastate Mass Transit systems built on CNG.

— Support for states to onboard new CNG buses as part of their Intrastate Mass Transit network (wholesale conversion, retro-fitting and new purchase).

— The deployment of CNG buses through existing Private Mass Transit operators, including new financing programmes for operators through an innovative asset finance programme.

— Incentivize investors to invest in CNG processing, distribution and utilization by providing incentives for enhanced investment and partnership.

— Deliver training and technology transfer to support the After-Sales Services and maintenance sub-industry to create sustainable jobs.

President Tinubu's focus on assembling CNG-enabled vehicles within the country will stimulate economic growth, create employment opportunities, and bolster the nation's automotive manufacturing capabilities.

The launch of this initiative also underscores this administration’s commitment to fostering a cleaner environment by reducing carbon emissions and promoting energy security through the utilization of domestic natural gas resources.

ON CREATION OF THE BLUE ECONOMY MINISTRY

……..to be headed by Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo

Truth be told, this ministry is long overdue in the face of our dwindling economic fortunes, and more importantly, to support the diversification of the economy. What is blue economy and what will this new ministry do for us?

According to the World Bank, the blue economy is the “sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods, and jobs while preserving the health of the ocean ecosystem.”

The UN defines blue economy as “a range of economic activities related to oceans, seas and coastal areas and whether these activities are sustainable and socially equitable.” The oceans cover two-thirds of the Earth’s surface and they are vital for planetary and human health – including combating climate change.

“It is an engine of livelihoods, transport, commerce and energy production. A healthy ocean contributes $1.5 trillion to the global economy annually and has an estimated asset value of $24 trillion.”

Over three billion people depend on ocean resources for their livelihood, and more than half of the oxygen we breathe come from the oceans. The African Union (AU) estimates that the blue economy currently generates about $300 billion for the continent, creating 49 million jobs in the process.

The blue economy concept always emphasises “sustainability” of the oceans, even as we exploit it for economic benefits. The economic activities in the traditional sector include fisheries, coastal leisure and tourism, ship and boat building, sea water desalination, offshore oil and gas, and shipping (marine transportation).

Properly harnessed, this ministry will boost our revenue – it will significantly reduce our budget deficits – at a time we are using over 90 percent of our revenue to service our debts.

Hon Tunji Ojo is the best hand to deliver on this gargantuan mandate because he’s got the experience and technical expertise needed to deliver on the promises.

Geoffrey R. Pyatt, the Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources: - “So, we are listening to what Nigeria’s concerns are while navigating issues around energy security, energy transition and energy access.

Our experts are bringing the best partnership they can offer in this regard. It is a chance for the USA to share experiences from its own energy transition journey. But also, to build international partnerships.

As I said today to President Tinubu, the USA wants to be Nigeria’s preferred partner in energy transition, security, and access. We know that Nigeria is a leader in the region, and they work with various partners around the world. But this is an opportunity to work more bilaterally. We have a strong corporate footprint here and we want to grow that footprint even further.”

Incumbent on the above The US government is facilitating a strategic energy dialogue (SED) with all stakeholders in Nigeria’s energy sector. The SED is an ongoing process aimed at fostering continuous exchange and collaboration between experts and stakeholders in the energy sector, promoting a strong partnership between the United States and Nigeria.

David Greene (The chargé d’affaires in charge of the U.S. Mission to Nigeria): “Just to quickly note that this is a very exciting time in the U.S. - Nigeria bilateral relationship, especially on the economic front, with the Tinubu administration taking and undertaking some of the structural changes that we think will create the foundation for new influxes of U.S. capital investment and increase two-way trade with Nigeria, and we’re already seeing a renewed interest by U.S. businesses and investors as well as other international investors.

Nigeria is home to Africa’s largest democracy, population, and economy. We really believe that Nigeria’s economic growth will bring stability and prosperity not only for the Nigerian people but also across West Africa, where Nigeria is such an economic heavyweight, through cross-border expansion and economic integration, including under the African Continental Free Trade Area.”
