Ballzproblem2:
This wasn't even meant for PBAT alone grin I was referring to the entire countries in ECOWAS.
ECOBRIG is on standby right now. We liberated Liberia, Sierra Leone in the 90s. We saved Sao Tome and Principe during OBJ administration. We forced Jammeh ro respect will of people and handover to next Government by deploying NNS, Fighter Jets and Military Personnel to Senegal - border to the country during Buhari Administration.

We have some Militarymen in Guinea-Bissau on peacekeeping Mission presently. Its not a new thing to our armed forces. Niger army can even be defeated by Amotekun.

Grow up Kid, ask yourself why almighty US couldn't defeat Taliban, rather handover the Nation to them with Armament as jara in the end.

You can't be giant just on paper, prove it to the world. You may hate PBAT, but at least love and respect your country and the government in power [for now].

UN, US, France and even Russia are backing Nigeria to restore democracy in Niger cos they believe we have the capabilities to do so, but here is a Toddler thinking otherwise cos of Kekerenke Ish.

Chadian Transitional President just landed in Niamey as an emissary of ECOWAS.

Note: Chad ain't a Member of ECOWAS but out of respect for PBAT, Nigeria and for peace sake in the Region, they take up the Responsibility.

There are many good development in the area. Around Onireke, Kolapo Ishola, Alao Akala GRA,
they are about to start a new Rasheed Ladoja GRA on the Lagos express which will be close to the planned circular road around Ibadan

I just pray for continuity of sane govt in Oyo.

Someone told me recently that all the good schools with great facilities that Amaechi constructed in PH say Wike refused to use the schools and grass has overgrown them. Itsrm can you confirm

......most on Nairaland do think Ibadan is all about Bẹẹrẹ, Oje, Ọja-Ọba, Òkè-Ado, Òkè-Mapo and so on. Ibadan is an old City hence brown roofs are expected at the heart of it.

But when you move around wella to new Ibadan settlements like my Area along New Garage, Elebu Axis, you'll understand Ibadan ain't all about brown roofs.....LOL

The stopover for trains is to discharge passengers or pick new ones.

The Ibadan train would stop at Abeokuta to drop and pick passengers, not to eat.

It would do the same at Agege too.

If you use a bus to do the exact same thing, it cannot get to Yaba in 2 hours, 30 minutes.
grin

....bro! I agree with you that train stopover is to discharge passengers/goods and pick new ones - and also for rest passengers to eat and freshen up, reason you can rely on it to move fresh farm products because they are perishable items.

Truck can move from Lagos and reach Abuja same day, if the Driver is well motivated. Trailer/Truck Drivers can spend 2hrs at a spot to fully enjoy theirselves.

If you install tracker and monitor movements of these Drivers, you'll understand trip of 24hrs can be ran far less, if Drivers really committed to do it.

Let's just forget it, coz apparently it will end up back and forth.

You are making my point for me

Your truck uses 21 hours to get to Abuja from Ibadan..The destination is Abuja.

A train would probably stop in 4 different cities, discharge and carry goods, and still get to Abuja in that same time; Something your truck won't do.

I am not bro. Abuja to Kano is not too far, so if they move straight to Kano, they will get there before dusk, that is 30hrs max.

Note: they would stop in Ife to eat Lunch. Stop in Owo to top-up tank. Stop in Okenne to eat dinner. Stop in Lokoja to top-up again....LOL

Guess you know how many hours my Grandpa used to spend from Osogbo to Kano? 54hrs!!!

Oya, Use a trailer from Oshogbo, and let it do 4 or 5 stopovers, and tell me how it would get to Kano on Wednesday.
I worked with a producing Firm in Ibadan for 4yrs and we sold our products across the country.

If our Truck [13tons] moved from Ibadan by 11am, they would reach Abuja by 8am the following Morning.

Google is our friend sir.

I am currently in Ibadan, and i hope to use the train by 4pm to Lagos.

The train will leave Ibadan, stop at Abeokuta, stop at Agege and finally stops at Yaba.

2 stopovers and it will reach Yaba in 2 hours, 30 minutes.

If i give you 2020 GLK, you cannot go to Abeokuta, Agege and get to Yaba in 2 hours, 30 minutes..

Unless you want Obi to suggest Private jets to convey fruits, rail transport is faster and cost effective
grin

..Ọrẹ, My Grandpa was a Farmer/Trader, a Colanuts Trader precisely and he sold to the North. He moved his products by rail from Osogbo [8am on Monday] and would reach Kano by 2pm on Wednesday.

They would have atleast 4-5 Stopovers and spent nothing less down 30mins at each Stopover. I do not need to check Google bro, coz I listened to real life stories from Grandpa.

May his Soul keep resting well in heaven.
