I made post clearly discuss activities of the 3 major Contestants offline, but its Oasis is joyful with PMB that caught attention? LOL!
Datti not being actively part of Obi rallies never caught attention. Okowa cooking to get 2m votes minimum in Delta never caught attention.
Alas! Oasis is happy PMB finally joins the train. Well its not a surprise. |

APC has revised their timetable and PMB will play an integral role henceforth. While BAT was in Abuja attending a National Youths Gathering chaired by Gov. Yahaya Bello, Shettima was in Jigawa solidifying APC structures across the Emirates.
Politics beyond online permutations, hardworks are done offline not online. Both APC and PDP are doing serious work offline, especially at rural places.
Okowa has been touring round his State. He's getting his Structures in shape to ensure at least 2m votes are delivered for his Principal.
What has Datti been doing for his Principal? Doyin Okupe has been more active than him. He barely follows Obi to rallies, so what is he bringing to the table for Labour Party?
May the best candidate that gonna fix Nigeria for real emerge, and I hope its Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Segedinho: Plans: I think this is where the problems lies, 9ja Politicians are too wicked to comply with their sweet manifesto hence I don't give a damn about their plans.......I only took a glance at Obi security plans and I am satisfied abt his statement on states( responsibilities n accountabilities) but my doubt remains.
BAT mental/physical states: BAT of today has displayed/still displaying some signs of mental disorder/weakness as seen in his numerous gaffee..(i.e bulaba and d recent Benin gagawax gaga)..licking of mic etc etc...he is physically being pushed/managed as seen in d video (on ur mandate I stand).. holding of flags and many others...
His antecedent is more of I just want my name to be among d list of Nigeria president.....
I agree wholeheartedly with you abt d brain but what then is the use of brain when the health is failing.. don't trust these fulanis that seems to be 100% behind him..I feel they have a plan after learning about his health status.....that is my fear..
You see shettima...I hold my lips Shettima is not Fulani but kanuri. Tinubu most trusted friend in the north is not Fulani but Hausa. Ganduje is not Fulani, hence nothing to be worried about.
Do you think Peter Obi without NASS backing can achieve anything?
Do you think likes of Obasanjo and co won't form Cabal and start dictating for him?
Do you think he has the ball to wither any fuckin political storm especially from our northern politicians? |

Segedinho: Buhari was called upon to handle d security turbulence as he was known as a "no nonsense" man.
Atleast if ur belief was he isn't as tough as he was due to maybe age,I would have honestly agreed to ur view...
I don't think there is any thing called soft coup but a well organised coup could make the victim as soft as being weak....
Buhari was handicapped by his failing health and I believe there was a compromise somewhere, somehow to warrant his lackadaisical approach to almost everything..
A country where no one even knew yaradua was dead for some days..... everything is possible here...
I am against Atiku due to his Northern status...am against BAT due to his failing health cos history has taught us how d end would look like....
You see,I am not totally sold by their promises and manifesto cos it is pointless in Nigeria... .... I don't want to believe Tinubu is not healthy enough to lead the country. I wouldn't say he's as healthy as Kwankwaso and Peter Obi, but his health condition is not as bad as it has been politically propagated.
Leadership requires brain not brawn. Leadership is not by physical fitness but mental fitness. Leadership is ability to assemble best brain and manage them to achieve desired results.
I believe Tinubu has all it takes to lead this Country regardless of his physical fitness as far as he is healthy enough to thinking and doing as he is known for.
I don't want Atiku either, and not because he's a Northerner but because I do not trust him a bit. Baba Iyabo has buried him completely in his Book. He's not the type of Leaders we need now.
I respect your choice because you have your reasons for picking him, but I want to believe its not because he is more healthy and younger than Tinubu and Atiku.
Perhaps, if you don’t mind, I will like to know why he should be trusted with Nigeria Number 1 position. What are his plans and how does he intend to achieve them.
We can use his manifesto as references, if you don't mind. |

Donjazet2: But that's the thing, you really cannot claim to love this country and advocate for this tinubu to be it's leader. It's almost nihilistic to advocate for a tinubu presidency upon Nigeria after experiencing yaradua and buhari.
Are we really to forego the genuine health concerns?? Are we to forget that we need a mobile and agile leader that will be constantly moving from place to place attending administrative functions and being mentally alert to constantly evolving situations.
Do you sincerely believe that this tinubu is up for that task? You don't have to ask Nigerians to imagine an immobile president, we've witnessed it twice!!
Secondly, are we really expected to forego the issue of character?? Do you really believe that ohr president should be a person of no good moral standing? A person whose early years of life is completely shrouded in mystery and secrecy? We don't know where this man grew up, we don't know the environment he grew up in? We don't know if he was a good person in his early youth or if he was a killer on the streets like his current boys agabka and mc oluomo.
What we do know is that he was involved in the deadly narcotics trade and has a criminal record for a deeply immoral cause.
Do you really expect Nigerians to vote in a completely deeply immoral character with heavy baggages as our president when there are better options?
Then talking about surrounding forces around him, can you tell us the new crop of people around him to expect if not these same class of failures. Are you saying that fashola, elrufai, fayemi, yahaya and the rest of this current failed class of leadership will not be the makeup of his cabinet seeing as they would be the ones that have to work to put him in?
Again brother, you really can't claim to love Nigeria and advocate for a tinubu presidency. It's just not logical. Sigh..... it seems you can't just do without politics. You know the highlighted part of your epistle is a big fat lie right? Non of the candidates have traversed the Country more than Tinubu.
Non of them have spent more hours on standing while addressing the people like Tinubu. Can we please do away with politics for today? Didn't you enjoy the discourse between GloriousGbola and izzou?

Segedinho: The trust in manifesto is gone as far as Nigerians are concerned.
Outa all d GEJ,,Buhari and co promised..how many was fulfilled and deserved accolades...
I am not even looking at promises from any of them atleast I have said this before now.....
I only put that up there cos it seems people are caressing d NASS hunger..
When you talk about balls....Do u know buhari had d balls but his health failed him woefully ....who knows if there was a compromised with d said NASS n co when he was in hospital for that long period of time I understand and feeling the frustrations of every Nigerian too. Its affecting me as its affecting everyone else on this board.
But are we gonna give up on the country? I believe as a Patriot, answer should always be NO! We may have lost interest in the manifesto and party promises, but that do not mean we should give up on the country.
Whoever emerges will be supported with prayers and whatever to make him succeed..... and we'll hope he fulfills his promises and plans.
As for NASS, PMB never has ball. You can't give what you don't have. Easiest coup in the History of Nigeria was against him. The coup was carried out successfully because Idiagbon, his second in command, was outa the Country.
We shouldn't put PMB and Ball in the same sentence bro. Imagine nonsense Saraki did with him in his first term? OBJ would have got Saraki replaced sharply - that's a Man with Ball. |

Donjazet2: You keep presenting the manifesto of APC despite them proving that they themselves deem it worthless. When it's been proven that part of it was even plagiarized word for word from an internet source.
The last APC manifesto that decieved millions of Nigerians, APC talked about restructuring, only for it's current VP candidate shettima to be telling Nigerians later, "to hell with restructuring". So if you successfully decieve Nigerians again this time and we later ask tinubu about this manifesto and he tells us that "he likes to be polite but we should shurrup our mouths" what do we do? Manifesto of Bola Ahmed Tinubu not APC as a party, point of correction. I remember at beginning of this Thread, we all sought for manifesto of every candidate, so what changes?
Political Parties in Nigeria have no ideologies, hence you have got to seek for candidates' manifestos to know their plans for the country.
APC is in power, but the Administration is Buharis. I thought you are an advocate of vote an Individual not a party?
Don't let us derail bro, let's talk Nigeria today. Let's discuss the way forward out of this mess. I love the Country as you, and hope it bounces back to her position as giant of Africa. |

Segedinho: What I seem not to grasp is, do we enjoy d NASS good relationship with d presidency leading to our suffering
Or we are just so obsessed with how impossible it is no change or try to change d status quo ?
Irrespective of our biased acceptance of our respective candidates,I believe we all have a common agreement which is d excessive cost of maintaining d NASS gluttony.
I think a practical way of trying to give them signs is by first cutting d presidency's expenditure. Then it will be dem vs the masses atleast it will become clearer to even d dumb followers .... both Tinubu and Peter Obi have it in their respective manifestos to do that. I do not know much about Atiku's plans though, but I hope he also has it in plan to do same if he emerges.
NASS Structures need to be reviewed. Bicameral Legislature is expensive for a Country like ours. We don't need it, unicameral is what we should be practicing to reduce cost.
Nigeria should scrap House of Representatives and keep Senate only. Red Chamber offers equal Representation per state, the numbers ain't much and it will be easier to maintain financially.
I hope for an administration that will have ball to propose it, work on it and make it happen.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 1:48pm On Jan 06, 2023 |
Donjazet2: I don't know why people keep glossing over this fact, should Obi win, should labor party accumulate millions of votes, that will definitely translate to legislative seats. It's almost like I need to keep drumming into you guys ears that labor party right now has a Senate seat in imo state and has 8 house of reps already. This is even before a ballot has been cast.
Should Obi win, he's expected to have a strong enough caucus in both houses that enables him push foe legislative agendas. I don't think you guys have really thought through the implications of a labor party win.
For God's sake, such a victory totally, like hugely changes the entire political landscape. All politicians will know that it is no longer business as usual. A labor party win will be a successful coup of government by the masses.
An Obi presidency will be one where the president knowa that the nigerian masses made him the president, and not powerful forces behind the scene pulling strings that expect favors that negatively affects the masses.
An Obi presidency is a win for all Nigerians.
So this talk of legislative strong-arming is expected to be a relic of the past that is if the legislative are concurrently acting against the interest of the masses. Let's try to be realistic bro. Nigerian People elect Representatives into NASS, hence their Opinions, demands are expected to be relayed to the Government via their various Representatives.
It's easier said than done. You can assume, dream of how you expect Administration of Peter Obi to pan out, but in Reality it may never work that way.
Lagos - Ibadan Expressway would have been completed if Saraki didn't frustrate it. In 2017, Saraki led NASS slashed amount budgeted for the Road by ₦30b and heaven didn't fall, neither did anyone protest despite that the Expressway is the busiest in Nigeria.
Buhari was an ex HOS, a former Dictator, yet he couldn't do a jack to veto and went ahead with the budgetary plan because this is democracy not autocracy. When Spy was talking Veto this morning, I laughed out loud like is it not our Nigeria he's talking about?
Peter Obi may have good plans, intentions and policies to turn things around in Nigeria but without NASS backing - nothing gonna happen. Thanks to OBJ by the way, he made NASS what they are today because of his 3rd term [selfish] Agenda.
You keep accusing BAT Supporters of playing tribal card with their choice, whereas in Reality, we are simply looking for a Personality that can possibly have control over NASS.
A Personality that political Retirees sitting idle, shouting Ye and Nay while feeding fat on our national cake will respect. A personality that can influence their leadership to working cordially with him and ensuring his plans and policies are not frustrated.
If PDP give their Ticket to Peter Obi, perhaps he would have got more supports even from present BATISTs. PDP have Structures and I believe Nigerians wouldn't have hesitated to kick out APC for PDP as Osun Indigenes recently did.
Lack of real [political] Structures is a big Obstacle to Peter Obi Aspiration. Cabal will take over his leadership if he wins. He'll be forced to listen to them or gets frustrated and eventually impeached.
..... and stop dreaming of possible mass defections from other parties to LP, if Peter Obi wins. That ain't gonna happen, rather opposition parties gonna see it as opportunity to settle scores, turn him a puppet and feeding fatter. |

Donjazet2: Because Obi excelled monumentally when it came to issues of appropriate usage of State funds. 1. Came in from the corporate sector before becoming a governor. 2. He Met a state heavily in debt and owing it's workers and pensioners. When he left office, no single state worker or pensioner was being owed any salary\pension.
Worked with a well balanced budget. Carrying out various state projects without borrowing a dime! And when I mean projects I mean good projects. Equipping every single school with generator and 2 school buses . 1 laptop per 4 students throughout the state. Etc etc.
3. Significantly cost the cost of governance. Plugged leakages and loopholes in government spending, drastically cut out redundant state positions. Nothing like employing 5 thousand special advisers that we see as common practice today.
4. Opened an Anambra state sovereign wealth funds where he used a small percentage of state budget to save and invest in various companies.
5. Did not award himself bogus pensions when leaving office and hasn't received a dime from the state government till date.
6. Left an impressive amount for successive governments and a lower debt burden.
7. Was immediately appointed on the presidential economic team of the Jonathan administration immediately after leaving office.
8. Was appointed the chairman of the Nigerian stock exchange, an appointment he accepted without recieving government amoluments and benefits.
Calling Obi a common trader is just you seriously downgrading and insulting his acumen but I can understand that, you need to try and bring him down to the level of the criminally wanted yellow teeth-stained drug baron you support.
When it comes to who has the best economic experience of the 2. Obi dusts the rest handdown. .... guess you miss the part; forget the past and focus on the future.

It's clear that our spending is based on the money we borrowed, if you suspend the limits, the government will borrow more to spend.
Tinubu is talking about suspending the limit, if you're suspending the limit on how government spend, that means the Government will spend without control.
