We were already having flooding issues but the release of water from the Lagbo dam complicated the issue and made it worse, stop looking at it from an absolute point of view, the releasing of water from the Cameroon dam had it's effect, but was not the sole cause of the flood.

Reforestation is a thing, can be done by individuals and by governments, be done at scale. Reforestation can actively curb climate change and desertification which has been linked to the farmers/herdsmen crisis we're experiencing up North. Obidense don't understand climate change indeed
