My major problem is transportation cost, farm is far so I buy the closest shop to my place because going to major suppliers will cost me additional cost of like 5k. And I contact a seller on jiji that listed it for 8500 he said he can't deliver because I'm not buying more than 5 he can only deliver a carton.

And about the labourer you are at the mercy of those nearby village because it will be so costly and difficult to bring labourer from far away village because my brother also have a farm and the labourers charge him #60 per yam ridges and they charge us double here.

Baba let me chip in on the farm stuff.

I decided to farm this year; the cost of farming now is absolutely neck bending, I went in with the intention of cultivating 10 acres of land, when I see the cost I reduced it to 5 and that 5 have consumed 500k and counting.

The locals there were seriously struggling, some even have to abandon farming and went to biking (okada) because they can't afford the cost of farming.
Just one sachet of altracine is now 11k.

All those people you saw want to farm but can't afford the cost.
