You guys that keep saying Israel really dealt with them or Israel has really finished them etc who exactly do you mean Israel has dealt with? Is it Hamas you mean or civilians? Because if it is Hamas that you mean, then be aware that Hamas still has 30,000 fighters in Gaza according to most western news outlets. There impressive tunnel network is still intact. There communication infrastructure still intact, there legendary fighting capability still intact, and that explains why Israel couldn't so much as rescue or even find a single one of their prisoners of war .
If on the other hand you mean Israel has dealt with civilians in Gaza, and destroyed enormous civilian infrastructure like shifa hospital, Indonesia hospital, university of Gaza, Gaza airport, thousands of civilian homes and apartment buildings etc then is that something to be proud of? Is that what you are boasting of to mean they are the strongest army around? Is that not even shameful? You can't defeat an armed group, so you turn around and start killing civilians in their thousands and call It "dealing with them" .

UNN is now an ocean of corruption. The school was on Arise TV this morning for another bad news where the nursing science students were protesting against an illegal levy of #30,000 they were asked to pay before writing exams. Meanwhile, while other schools have made their admission cut off marks public, UNN has refused to be transparent with their admission processes, there leaving the faith of many students who chose the school hanging in the balance.

The University Of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) has begun disciplinary proceedings against its registrar, Nnebedum Celine Ngozi for allegedly making false claims to Peoples Gazette in defense of disgraced former Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Uche Nnaji, over his forged academic certificate.
Mr. Nnaji resigned from President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet on Wednesday night following mounting pressure after The Gazette’s 2023 and 2024 investigative reports exposed that he forged his university and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificates. His resignation came amid a pending court case filed by his political opponents, relying heavily on the reports.
According to documents obtained by Peoples Gazette, the newspaper had, in October 2023, contacted Mrs. Nnebedum for confirmation of Mr. Nnaji’s claimed degree from UNN. In response, the registrar’s office, under her authority, issued an official letter dated December 21, 2023, confirming that “Geoffrey Uchechukwu Nnaji” was admitted in 1981 and graduated in July 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology/Biochemistry, Second Class (Hons.) Lower Division.
However, a contradictory letter later surfaced from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, stating that Mr. Nnaji did not graduate from the university.

Sources within UNN told The Gazette that Mrs. Nnebedum had privately met with Mr. Nnaji in Abuja in 2023 before replying to the newspaper’s inquiry a move university officials described as “highly irregular and unethical.” When contacted on Thursday, Mrs. Nnebedum claimed that the letter confirming Nnaji’s graduation “was written on her behalf,” though she had previously told The Gazette she personally reviewed records confirming that he completed all academic requirements.
At the time, The Gazette presented evidence showing inconsistencies in Mr. Nnaji’s documents including a forged certificate submitted to the Nigerian Senate, misspellings of his name, mismatched graduation and NYSC mobilisation dates, and his omission from the official graduation list. Despite these discrepancies, Mrs. Nnebedum maintained her stance that Nnaji’s credentials were authentic.
University sources confirmed that the UNN management has initiated internal disciplinary procedures against Mrs. Nnebedum for “misrepresentation and breach of institutional ethics,” describing her actions as a serious administrative offence that brought “embarrassment to the university.”

The Enugu State Police Command wishes to inform the public that two principal male suspects, Ezema Onyedikachi (aged 27) and Ugwu Chigozie Anthony (aged 21), who were arrested for allegedly stabbing and murdering one Nweze Chiebonam (male, aged 29), during a bonfire night event at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), have been arraigned in court and remanded in correctional custody. They were arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy and murder.
Recall that the Faculty of Arts, Department of Archaeology/Heritage Studies, organized the bonfire night on 12th September 2025, which was attended by students and invited guests, including the suspects and the deceased. However, at about 3 a.m. the following day, while attendees were leaving the venue, the vehicle of Ugwu Anthony had a minor accident with that of the deceased. The incident led to a fight involving the suspects and the deceased but was later resolved.

Further investigation revealed that the suspects initially left the venue but later conspired, armed themselves with a dagger, and returned to attack the deceased. In the course of the assault, Ezema Onyedikachi collected the dagger from Ugwu Anthony and stabbed Nweze Chiebonam fatally in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead by the attending doctor. The dagger used in committing the crime was recovered.

The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, has commiserated with the family of the deceased, describing the incident as both unfortunate and avoidable. He further cautions citizens, particularly the youths, to eschew violence, exercise self-control, and resolve disputes peacefully.

Faculty of Arts organized a Bonfire night.

The event took place at the Archaeology Department opposite UBA Hall of Fame UNN

Both Power_Autos and the alleged killérs Daddy_Yo or called Onyeka are not students of UNN.

Power_Autos is from Lejja Nsukka and the killér Daddy_Yo is from Umudiaka Nsukka.

When the bonfire was going on, Power_autos wanted to go home with his own friends and his GLK scratched the other guys car.

The had a minor issues which reports indicate that the university security team had initially intervened and de-escalated the situation immediately.

When Power_Autos was going with his own friends inside same UNN environment, those guys double-Crossed them with 3 cars.

The other guys inside Power_autos car ran away sensing danger and Power autos came out from the steering to know what is happening and they immediately slìt his throat with knìfe and he died instantly.

They immediately took off and on their way running their own car fell inside the gutter within same UNN environment. They left it and took off.

UNN security was alerted, immediately the CSO Kris Alumona sent signal and all exit inside UNN was blocked.

On their way running outside UNN gate thru Odenigwe gate axis they were all apprehended and 4 among them were arrested and currently at state CID Enugu.
