The idiot that murdered that young lady at Madoka hotels Nsukka on Friday last week has been arrested.

The girl she killéd is a final year student of Computer/Statistics University of Nigeria, Nsukka

The ijiot killer lives behind that Obukpa Estate, behind that Madoka hotels at Ibagwa Road Nsukka.

According to the ijiot killer, he said he didn't kill the girl intentionally, that the girl is into hook-up and after doing one or two things inside the hotel room, he settled the girl with money and the girl said the money is too small and they started dragging and he pushed the girl and he fell down and died instantly....

A suspected ritual killing has rocked Nsukka, Enugu State, after a young woman was found murdered in a hotel with vital body parts removed.

The gruesome incident occurred over the weekend at Madoka Hotel, located in Obukpa Layout, along Ibagwa Road in the University of Nigeria town of Nsukka.

According to a police source, the yet-to-be victim had checked into the hotel the previous day with a young man, unaware it would be her final night alive.

"The young man lodged with a lady, but in the morning when he came out alone, the hotel staff members asked him about his female partner," the source said.

"He told them that the lady had left earlier, that she is a prostitute. Unknowing that he was lying, the receptionists believed him; they were newly employed, so they acted out of ignorance."
The source revealed that the truth came to light when hotel cleaners went to service the room.
They shockingly discovered that the young lady has been murdered by the man.

REPORT OF RITUAL MURDER AND ORGAN HARVESTING IN NSUKKA HOTEL FALSE AND MISLEADING

The Enugu State Police Command wishes to refute the viral report alleging that a young woman was murdered in a hotel in Nsukka and her vital organs harvested in a suspected ritual killing. The report is false, misleading, and capable of inciting unnecessary panic.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the remains of the deceased woman were found intact, without any indication of mutilation or organ harvesting, as widely speculated. Evidence suggests she may have been strangled, as her body was discovered with bloodstains around her mouth and a swollen neck.

On June 14, 2025, the victim, accompanied by a male suspect, checked into a hotel along Obukpa Road, Nsukka. The suspect, whose true identity and contact details are yet to be ascertained, reportedly checked out the following morning, claiming the woman had already left. However, her lifeless body was later found in the hotel room, taken to the hospital where she was confirmed dead by the attending doctor, and then deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department (State CID) to intensify efforts to trace and arrest the fleeing suspect and ensure that justice is duly served. He also strongly warns individuals and media outlets spreading unfounded and sensational narratives to desist from such actions, as they only serve to mislead the public and undermine ongoing investigations.

A Magistrate Court sitting in Nsukka, Enugu State, on Thursday remanded three Oriokpa masquerades in prison custody for allegedly assaulting a young man along Aku Road Market in Nsukka.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday, reportedly saw the masquerades flouting a prior directive restricting their activities. They were said to have inflicted serious injuries on an unsuspecting victim during their outing.
The trio, widely referred to as "spirits" due to the traditional and cultural reverence associated with the Oriokpa masquerade, were apprehended by a Joint Task Force (JTF) comprising operatives of the Nkpunanano Task Force and personnel of the Nigeria Police Force.
Sources said the masquerades were initially to be remanded in prison while fully dressed in their traditional costumes.
However, in a dramatic turn, the presiding magistrate tempered justice with mercy, allowing them to change out of the masquerade regalia before being taken into custody.
The court adjourned the case till October 7, 2025, for further hearing, while the accused remain in custody at the Nsukka Correctional Centre.

FG closes terrorism case against Namdi Kanu
The Federal Government on Thursday closed its case against Namdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in the terrorism and treason trial ongoing at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
When someone "closes their case" in a trial, it means they have finished presenting all their evidence, witnesses, and arguments to the court.
This development came after the fifth prosecution witness, identified only as EEE due to security concerns, testified in court.
The witness was led in evidence and later questioned by Kanu's lawyer, Onyechi Ikpeazu, in a session presided over by Justice James Omotosho.
The government's lawyer, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo, informed the court that the prosecution had called all five witnesses it planned to rely on.
He noted that the evidence presented, including video materials showing the activities of the IPOB leader, was enough to support the charges.
Based on this, he formally closed the prosecution's case.
Following the closure, the lead defence lawyer, Chief Kanu Agabi, notified the court of the defence team's plan to file a no-case submission.
This move means they will argue that the government has not provided enough evidence for the case to proceed.

The filing will be done at a later date.

Chidinma Ojukwu, the University of Lagos student accused of murdering Super TV CEO, Usifo Ataga, has denied claims that she stole his laptop and phones after his death in June 2021.
Chidinma, a former 300-level Mass Communication student, is currently standing trial at the Lagos High Court, TBS, alongside Adedapo Quadri and her sister, Chioma Egbuchu. They face charges of murder, stealing, and forgery.
On Monday, 16 June 2025, Chidinma continued her defence before Justice Yetunde Adesanya, telling the court that she did not steal any of the deceased's belongings. She confirmed that while she and Mr Ataga stayed together at the short-let apartment, he had his own devices, including a 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro, while she had a 2019

She added that she also owned an HP laptop and confirmed that the Apple MacBook police recovered belonged to her. When asked if she had proof of ownership, she stated that the receipt was lost when police searched their home.

2021. She claimed the laptop was a gift from a man named Mr Fredrick, whom she lost contact with after her arrest. According to her, the receipt was among other documents that went missing after police searched her home.

Regarding claims that she replaced the phone's pouch with a fake one, she explained that the pouch shown in court was originally hers, used with her former iPhone 11 Pro. The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, has been moved to the headquarters of the Department of State Services, DSS.
Justice James Omotosho ordered that Kanu's trial be moved from the Abuja Federal High Court to the DSS headquarters.
The trial judge said the case was moved to the
DSS headquarters to allow for the inspection of Kanu's shipping container.
The container was said to have been used by Kanu to bring a radio transmitter into Nigeria for broadcast on Radio Biafra.

The team of rescuers led by the local govt chairman Engr Jude Asogwa Chinedu himself stormed their house.

Started begging them to come down and they refused and didn't even answer anybody.

After a while, they noticed bloòd stains on their bodies and blòod was was gushing out from different part of their bodies.

It took the courageous ones to device a means and climb up only to notice both of them are already weak and bleêding, they used bottles to wound themselves on top of the roof.

One don already faint on top of the roof and the second person is weak and bleeding too.

That's how they overpowered them and rescued both of them.

Democracy is so beautiful when practice in the right manner but the way African politicians are going about it, is indirectly inviting the military to take over. Ordinarily,once there is a coup d'tat,the masses should in unison rise against the junta but people are beginning to think otherwise, people are now doubting what they used to believe in.Africans in particular have had bitter experiences with the sit tight serial looting political leaders and people are asking for a breath of fresh air.
Socio economic and political analysts thinks that military government is cheaper for Africa,no parliamentarians,laws are made by Enacting decrees.
