At this stage where there's unity of purpose within the camp of thieves/ruling class, is it not better to have a limited but viable alternative. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." interpretation of "jurisdiction" is the key battle here not constitutional amendment per say. In the context of citizenship, it means born in the US and subject to the authority of the US...so if both parents are not subject to the jurisdiction of the US, can it be said that their offspring is subject to the jurisdiction of the US. And really in matters like this, if the supremem court is right-leaning, trump may have his way. |
