Yemmysworld91:once those dirty and lousy nigerian boys collect 1 dollar like this, na to go collect benz and range on credit remain, dey shout and wear singlet and sag trousers carrying prostitutes up and down |
Gerrard59:if those wicked tech educators dont tell them they will make $30k entry level salary in Nigeria, how will they sell courses to them. Someone needs to start telling people the truth, tech is not a shortcut to success, it takes dedication, hardwork, serious work, frustrations, grit, perseverance and consistency over a long period of time. |
odimbannamdi:It is a very good one, any tool/skill that can streamline processes and automate workflow is great |
The amount of opportunities in tech is exaggerated, especially by entrepreneurs that want to sell their courses to you. A career in tech is very lucrative and cool BUT that does not mean the jobs are available on a Buy-One-Get-One-Free basis if we want to tell ourselves the truth. If you will do tech, go the whole hog and learn it enough that you can use it to build a solution by yourself, if you just want to do the bare minimum to position yourself for jobs, u may find it tough. Tech is not the easy way out the way most people see it, u will put in the work and ur learning will be continuous and u will have to keep evolving. Also dont forget, the fact that most tech jobs can be done remotely means the experienced and gatekeepers are having a field day taking multiple jobs as much as 3, while new entrants may find it increasingly difficult to land something. |

DSS reports directly to the Presidency through the office of the NSA. Bola ahmed Tinubu is president, If anyone thinks the DSS will invade the Lagos State house of assembly(a state where Bola tinubu-the president is the number 1 leader) without express approval from the Presidency, then the person doesn't know how politics and governance work in Nigeria |
Small yansh dey shake |
I know the worst are Nigeria Police Force, National Assembly and EFCC. But these days its like Nigerian Army and DSS are about to join them as the most useless establishments in Nigeria. |
blacknp:I don't agree with your analogy. In your year 2 you do not have any evidence to show the world that you are qualified. It works differently in music business, the qualification u need is the fact u are the rave of the moment at the moment. That moment may be the last time an artiste will be at the top. U want to maximize ur income in the period God gave u to shine. Asake understands he won't be at the top and command this kind of followership forever, and there's no crystal box where he can view how many more years he has to flourish and be at the top. He has to to make money from his star while its still shinning, it may not shine for long. |
blacknp:Some are saying his contract was over and he chose not to extend. Whatever the case, u really wont blame him, it's busineess and being emotional with business won't take anyone far. I will never join anyone to abuse a label owner for giving an artiste a small percentage, business is business, financier is king. The same way i will not join in saying an artiste that is not renewing is ungrateful. Except the artiste opens his mouth to talk trash about his helper. If you are in a career where u may not have more than 5 great years, and u have spent 2 years collecting just a fraction of what u generate(which is how it should be anyways), u will also think of what to fall back on when u r not topping the charts anymore, which may even come sooner than u expect. It's a fair deal for now let's not lie. Ybnl helped his career and gave him d platform, and asake in return generated a lot of income for ybnl too. I hope they remain cool |
Kobicove:2 years is not just/small in the life of a musician. Longevity is not guaranteed, a lot of musicians won't have more than 3 to 4 years at the top. However I am hoping he left on a good and friendly note. |
PP123:once again, in this life if u keep looking at failed stories, u will not make the move that will get u to the top of life pyramid. There is no worse feeling than living with regret of not trying when you had the chance/fame/followership. While there is no certainty that u will get the gold u are looking for, the truth is that u will never know if u are destined for the gold if you do not try. |
PP123:Stop looking at failed stories, they will only set u back from making the right move. If wizkid thought of people that left their labels and flopped thereafter, he wouldn't be where he is today. You live this life once, take chances, just don't fight the one that helped you, but take your chances |
You people should grow up. If you had work as an executive director in a Bank, and have an optionto leave and start your own smaller bank, which would u take. In showbiz you won't be ontop forever, maximize ur earnings while the stars align in your favour, and go invest in a profitable venture. It's better for him to ride on this fame and see if he can cash out big and go buy shares in a sport club or a bigger business. If he stays, he still wont be star boy forever. Why not take the risk |
right now Governor Sani sounds stewpid for saying this...when 2027 come una go see say the man no stewpid when the stewpid voters start collecting rice and garri to keep APC in power |

Lack of self respect and self awareness is Nigerian Govt officials whining and crying because Canada denied one of them visa. The best response is to show them you dont need them, and not crying up and down na Musa get the disrespect, not the generality of Nigerians...lots of ordinary Nigerians are still getting their visas approved, so Musa and his colleagues in government should carry their noise to aso villa and stop disturbing our peace |
Nice courses. |
toffyz:In the work environment, If you beat your colleague u will not only be sacked, there is a very high likelihood u will be handed over to the police, but u want someone that raised her hand and beat up her teacher and tore his clothes to be slapped on the wrist. Sane societies are created by putting in place and enforcing strong punitive measures for misbehaviour |
EmperorCaesar:The audacity is from the number of likes on tiktok after posting her silly face with filter....these genZs sha |
