You earn big in the US, you also spend it there. I don't see any serious sense in converting his salary to dollars when we know even with the sorry state of naira, he'll still live a better life than someone earning 2k monthly in the US.
A mini flat in Rwanda is equivalent of 350k in naira. Things you can buy at 8k in Nigeria are almost equivalent of 17k over there. Their taxes are higher too.
You guys should stop comparing the incomparable.

2k shared apartment rent in New Smyrna Beach is not the only place to live in Florida and definitely not the only place to live in the US. I can also tell you 2 bedroom apartment in Silver Spring MD is 2.5k monthly. I can give you other cost effective options all over US, even in Florida. So dont make it sound like the best 2k/month can get you all over US is a room in a shared apartment.
Btw My comparison was that a university graduate in NAFDAC with salary of 250k/month with similar skillset/knowledge will command income of 60k/yr upwards in the US(assuming work permit is sorted).
i said 2k income in the US is generally for unskilled, uneducated, high school grads doing gap year, immigrant still trying to get papers and all. - I never said 2k income will live a better life than 250k income in Nigeria( however if u look at things in Nigeria today, it is arguable)
- i dont know how Rwanda entered the story, i dont know what's obtainable in Rwanda but i know in Lagos and Abuja and PH where u can find plenty people earning 250k/month. For 1 bedroom apartment in a places like Ikosi Ketu(lagos), Kubwa(abuja) u will spend 50% of that your 250k income on rent...and these locations are not even decent like that

people in US with comparable skills n knowledge to the person earning 250k in nafdac are earning $5k per month. 2k per month salary na for people wey no get skill/education or person wey finish high school wan make small money before dem go university or immigrant wey no get right work permit. and low earners like that still get refund from their taxes at the end of the year, a lot of them still get much more than equivalent of N250k times 12

I was also surprised when El-Rufai gave his support to Tinubu. I was initially arguing that El-Rufai will only support Amaechi because he was so close to Amaechi then and Amaechi the person that singlehandedly saved him when he had a case with EFCC. Amaechi even drove him to EFCC office, my instinct was telling me, it was time to repay Amaechi's back but that thought failed me completely.
Well, what I later heard was Tinubu promised him vice president or a very juicy post and El-Rufai fell for it.

The thing about religion. It's breaks the very law it is supposed to uphold. God said, "thou shalt not commit murder", If these ones were serving the living god, they would simply revert back to him in situations like this. Facts. Elrufai is no pretender. Tinubu already knew his confirmation was not going to scale through, so why did he publicly made him promise to stay back and work with him? That move alone by Tinubu is what is costing him the trust and support of Northerners today, because they always thought he was a man of his word.

It was simply a coup done to take Elrufai out of the 2031 conversation. That was a strategic mistake because it came too early and he is a very formidable foe for anyone to have. Elrufai is a career politician and there's nothing wrong with him aspiring for the presidency after Tinubu. Buhari let all aspirants under APC to contest after his tenure. I guess that's a problem for the President because he apparently never forgave all who contested alongside him, including Osibanjo. So much for being a democrat.

If indeed, it was Shettima and co who convinced the president to ditch Elrufai as some people allege, then they simply did it to pave the way for themselves. How is that democratic and where is the internal democracy? Is APC now a monarchy where a successor will be annointed? Say what you will, Elrufai worked sincerely to deliver the President and the results simply proved how unsellable and difficult a task that was. Whosoever he supported before the primaries is irrelevant because he didn't sign any pact with Tinubu.

Elrufai have been abusing Tinubu and the style of leadership in lagos for years, always claiming kaduna is not lagos where 1 man can corner all the resources and run government like his property. While Elrufai's assertion is true, it is so naive of him to think supporting that kind of power-hungry person to get the absolute power will give him any kind of chance in future. Will he forget what u said about him? or u are now born again and think differently about him?
You do not know Tinubu if u think he needs Shettima to advice him to ditch Elrufai. Elrufai only showed political naivety. You dont run a politician so dirty and think all is forgotten after because u helped him to capture power. Especially when u exposed the truth about him. Tinubu knows all elrufai said about him in the past is true, that can be forgiven but not forgotten.
Elrufai miscalculated, he had Buhari's ears, what could have worked for him was convincing Buhari to support Osinbajo/Elrufai ticket but he was scared Atiku would carry the day(which is valid) and that would make him ineligible for 16 years.
As things stand now, he should thank God for all he has achieved, his path to Nigerian presidency no too clear, he himself knows he is joking for 2027 and Tinubu will do all he can to install Ribadu in 2031(if things remain the same)
