I went through all contrubutions here and i understand this simple logic.
The igbos are trying to say some part of PH and DELTA are igbo speaking people which i think is true. But some people negate the fact because IGBO LANGUAGE isn't their
general language .
Another example is KOGI and DELTA state , the kogi i no has a YORUBA indigenes ,but it dosent mean kogi state is YORUBA state , i saw a YORUBA map and KOGI was not included but was stated that some yoruba speaking side of kogi will join if NIGERIA split because they felt it will be unlawful to include the whole state which include the hausa's to their map.
IF biafra get its republic today some part of delta and ph will want to join them. Some part of DELTA state especially the ITSHEKIRI will tell you they are not YORUBA while some will also make it known to you that they are
proudly YORUBA's .
If NIGER DELTA get its republic today the ITSHEKIRI will prefer NIGER DELTA REPUBLIC unless a disarray occurs between them both .
There are ilaje's people in ONDO and some are also in DELTA state....the creation of state in this country is pure error apart from some states .
Yoruba's are west
Igbo's are east
Hausa's are north. That south south ,south north ,north east , north central,south east is error and mistake.
Niger Deltans are south , but they began their geo political saga , they joined many different people together , if you google the name ''kwara'' it will be stated there ''west'' and ''yoruba''And the geo polical zone is north cebtral If you make a research on some state you'll be suprised to see stories of how the state was created and comprise of more ethnic groups and different tribes.
Nigeria will be splited into four if neccessary .

To me its a simple logic , vote out the hausa man you dont want and vote in another hausa man you prefers , am sure both APC and PDP presidential candidate will be an hausa man while any other tribe will deputize him , the party who present a non hausa man will only win in its region , only the votes in almost the northern state is key to presidential election. They win the best governors award because governing lagos is like rulling a country , while the non hostel in LASU you talked about is not PRIMA cos i have been to almost all the 36 states in this country and its rare to see some states university have hostels (remember i said some). But you didnt also wrote about the positive things about lasu.
The new senate building , the new student arcade , the new libraray , the new auditorium ,the affordable school fee ( 25k and maximum 80k) for indigene and non indigene's depending on your course of study .

Ok, after reading comments from various angles i must say this . If igbo's get biafra , niger delta get its republic , hausa's get arewa republic and yoruba's get oduduwa republic , which republic owns Lagos ? Maybe the chinese. A state which has its culture , tradition , customs , languages and ethics , they have a monarch , is the oba of lagos an hausa man , The oba ojora of lagos is a fulani , The oba oyefusi of ikorodu is Igbo and the Oba elegushi is Niger Delta ?
The reason why law makers felt lagos cant be specially treated is best known to them , they might have coegent reasons for their objections , besides , lagos will still be lagos and even be more greater ,do you remember fed allocation was not given to lagos for years and heaven didnt fall ( the state survives) lagos state has the largest number of civil servant in Nigeria , while some state with less state workers and huge allocations can't pay their civil servant .

population is another key to the success of the state and i see it increase in population.

its like saying are yoruba christains celestal,cherubim,mfm,synagogue,foursquare and co.
Islam is one.
Their are 3 major religions in this country : Muslim,christan or traditional and under each religion are divided into various branches.

I am not in edo,but i just felt OSHO BABA has done enough to help APC win that state , compared to IGBINEDION,the only thing PDP can use against APC is the current situation of the country which i dont think will change if PDP win a state election,its like saying lagos should'nt vote APC cos our country is down.And PDP supporters should also learn how to win election rather than winning on social media.The smartest wins election though.Am sorry i might be wrong.
