At the fixed bolded should be the right question you should have asked.

The wrong people are those who said it is their turn to rule Nigeria. Which brings it into conclusion that such a candidate only wants to rule for selfish reasons. They don't have any vision for the country, they only want to loot and fill their pockets.

Those people who didnt say it is their turn, what have they done?
Let us try a new and positive one.None of his co contestants come close to him in positive antecedents.
Let us see what emilokan will do.
If he is not our desire, after 4 years,we bundle him out with our votes.
We want to vote him because of his massive positive antecedents in growth and development of living things and non living things.
He sure has a rare gift of a midas touch.
Only the Merciful gives this rare gift to whosever he deems fit.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Outperformed TINUBU And Fashola Combined: Ayodeji Oyewumi by Obamaofusa: 4:01pm On Oct 07, 2022
Obi could not pay salaries but he used Anambra's money for personal business sad
Five years after being sworn in (on 17 March 2014) as the new Anambra State governor after the expiration of the Peter Obi second term Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano had managed to reduce the poverty rate in the state to the lowest in all of the South East and 8th lowest among the 36 States of the Federation.

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) poverty data for 2019 show that the lowest poverty rates were recorded mainly in the South and South-Western states, with Anambra clearly being an outlier.

While Anambra had a poverty rate of 14.8% according to the NBS data, the closest state in the South East was Imo which had a poverty rate of 28.9% and came in at No 15 on the list.

Anambra also outperformed major Nigerian oil producing states including Rivers (which recorded a poverty rate of 23.9%), Akwa Ibom (26.8%) and Bayelsa (22.6%).

The major reason for the low poverty rate is the ex-Governor’s major investments in the state’s physical and human infrastructure.

Ike Chioke, Group Managing Director at Afrinvest West Africa Limited; and Chairman, Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) says Willie Obiano is an advocate of infrastructural development as well as rights and entitlements (welfare) of citizens.

Interestingly, he cleared all arrears of salaries owed local-government employees, the outstanding salaries and pensioned owed the staff of Anambra State Water Corporation, and pensions and gratuity of owed retirees of Anambra Broadcasting Service and National Light’ Newspaper, which had been in default for twenty-five long years.

While some federally-bailed-out-state were struggling to pay workers’ salaries, former governor Obiano raised civil servant salaries by 15 percent and remained tenaciously steadfast that worker’s welfare was his topmost priority.

During his tenure as governor, he cleared N1.90 billion arrears of salaries owed the State Water Corporation staff as well as the approximately N1 billion pension owed Local Government retirees inherited by his administration.

Obiano’s vision was also to make Anambra one of the food baskets of the country and as soon as became governor in 2014 his administration raised its budgetary allocation to Agriculture by 500 percent, to N5.40 billion in 2017...

The argument that Tinubu’s performance as governor of Lagos is better or remotely comparable to Obi’s is a big fat lie. Obi’s tenure literally beats Tinubu and Fashola’s tenures combined!

I really tire.... From what we've seen online it is only this Lagos the entire south west people talks about.

If you listen to them carefully... The only state in South west they have any reasonable thing to talk about is Lagos.

Are all Yoruba people from Lagos?

How come they don brag about other states like
..Ekiti or Ondo for example.

Is it that the rest of the states in South west are all slums or what?

For the past 10 months I haven't read anything or any news concerning other south west states.

Apart from Governor of Lagos I doubt if many people even know the names of other governors in south west

The whole of South west just th3 struggle Lagos like say na the only state for that land.

People who defends Tinubu are really trying.

Agbado has the worst campaign team, they are just doing damage control to his presidential bid

Tinubu was the first to declare for presidency
He was the first to went on missing.
He was the first to use throwback pictures for campaign.

Tinubu should come out and address those he seeks to govern.
You are the one troubling yourself.
Is Tinubu your president yet?
Have they signaled the commencement of their campaign?
Tinubu,I believe is resting. One can remember that he is the only aspirant that went all over Nigeria just after he came back from his surgery bit.
He has not really gotten the time to rest.
I think he has very good doctors who have advised the man to have a good, long rest away from the hullabaloo of politicking.
Alas, his traducers will still not let him rest.

Politics / Re: Igbo APC Group Begs Sanwo-Olu To Release N26 Million For Pro-Tinubu Rally In Lag by Obamaofusa: 10:43am On Oct 06, 2022
LudaChriz:
An Igbo group of the All Progressives Congress is soliciting N26 million from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to organise a rally to rally support for Bola Tinubu as the ruling party’s presidential candidate.

In a letter seen by Peoples Gazette, the Ndigbo group asserted that “a minimum of four thousand five hundred people with PVCs who are members (of) our great party APC of Igbo extraction in Lagos” would attend the rally scheduled to be held at Blue Roof hall in Ikeja.

“Therefore, with this number of people, we hereby present to you a very modest budget of approximately twenty-six million four hundred thousand naira (26,400,000.00) only,” added the letter addressed to Joe Igbokwe, a special adviser to the Lagos governor on drainage and water resources.

A breakdown of the fund comprises N4.5 million for branded caps, N8.4 million for mobilisation, N1.3 million for the venue, N1.3 million for entertainment, N270,000 for music, N100,000 for garden eggs and kola and so forth.

Organisers of the rally projected that 4,500 Igbo members would participate in the rally.

They include Nd’Igbo in APC Lagos covering the executives and leaders in the 57 LGAs and LCDAs, Ohaneze executives in all LGAs, Igbo-speaking community executives, executives of the 58 major markets in Lagos state and executives of over 100 town unions in Lagos.

In January, the London-based Financial Times put the cost of Nigeria’s presidential election at $2 billion, a sum that the politician would loot the nation’s treasury to recover if elected.

“It takes an estimated $2 billion to get a president elected. Those who pay will expect to be paid back,” the newspaper wrote.

Well,to answer him...
Oyo,Lagos,Ogun,Kwara etc were just created to balkanise the people.Everybody is in Yorubaland, with Yoruba culture, names, aspirations etc.
When Nigeria eventually disintegrates,Yorubas will be Yorubas in Yorubaland.Igbos in Igboland and Hausa in Hausaland.

It is never a good sign when a presidential candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive” – International journalist, Jonathan Rosenthal reacts to Tinubu’s workout video
Jonathan Rosenthal, the Africa editor of international newspaper, The Economist, has reacted to a video of the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, working out tremendously.

Tinubu had put out the video to debunk alleged report that he has withdrawn from the presidential race due to his health.
“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”

Reacting to the video that has elicited different reactions on the internet, Rosenthal said it is never a good sign when a presidential candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive.
Quoting Tinubu’s tweet, he tweeted,

“Oh dear, it is never a good sign in a presidential campaign when a candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive. #NigeriaDecides2023”

If he can address the Wike camp, it will take God to stop him.

The truth is that, Tinubu cannot beat Atiku in northwest and northeast and Peter Obi will not do well there. Atiku is going to comfortably win these regions. Forget about the APC structure, A Yoruba man cannot beat a core northerner here, it’s not possible. These parts of the country has herd mentality, last figures proves that. It’s a winner takes all region and no splitting, especially in the northwest

Tinubu will not win much outside of southwest, kogi and Kwara. Tinubu will not win a single local government in southeast or south south. The southsouth has strong PDP structure and Its between Atiku and Peter obi.

In the Middle belt, Tinubu will perform well in kwara and kogi, Atiku will do well in Benue, nassarawa and Niger. Obi will do well in Abuja

In southeast, Obi will win while Atiku will be second. Tinubu May not win a polling unit here.

All the predictive analysis points to Atiku emerging victorious without any sentiments here.

DOA.
