But the set of players we have should easily beat all these teams even without a proper coach.

The coach should be more flexible with substitutions, it's already telling on the starting 11, fatigue don set in already. What if Moses, lookman or Iwobi get injured.
The 3rd group game, I expected some new faces in the last 10min.
Against Cameroon, we are leading 2:0, the last sub should be ihneacho or Musa at least.
Bottom line: he should give room for the starting 11 to rest to reduce accumulated fatigue.

Zaidu Sanusi as much as he truly gives me heartache sometimes when he gets forward remains key to our 343 setup. His recovery time, positioning and speed are his biggest assets and in tandem with Calvin Bassey (LCB) locks up that defensive space easily. This is why he starts and Omeruo comes in later with Bassey switching to LWB once Zaidu is pulled out.

Could we start with Bassey at LWB and Omeruo at LCB? Yes, but I understand Peseiro. He is banking on Bassey's and Zaidu's left footedness synergy and speedy energy on that left.

LWB has a lot to do with speed, agility and recovery, Zaidu get all this ahead of Bassey. Bassey is good and can also do well but may not last 90mins in that role because he's not fully used to it. Playing the role for 10-15mins is still very much okay

My take on first half
As much as I'm not totally pleased with super eagles performance, it's not easy playing away match of that magnitude. Italy dorminated NMD yesterday, but who won!
I think SE are using counter attack approach for this game. They're just looking for a breakaway opportunity.
Goalkeeper, and the defense have been busy with less upfront.
Let's hope for a better second half

I hope Angel and Pere won't be asked to play a game of chance

To me, Nengi at first was already shifting to the edge of the seat when Ebuka was quizzing him about his situationship with her. She didnt wanna be associated with him at that moment.

But soon as the eviction had ended and kiddwaya had left, she immediately re-aligned and when Ebuka quizzed her, she began to sound engaging and trying to respect Ozor's impressive fan base that saved him from eviction while getting paired with other heavy weights.

I don't know if it was only me who sensed that Nengi was amazed and impressed. This will be Ozo's best chance to get more affection from her cause right now, she's impressed and will want to attach to him and his fan base. But if ozo were wise he would give her some distance likes she asked for, and watch her do the chasing in order to attach to his fan base. She may even ask him why he is no longer chasing her again after all his expression of affection, had the steam suddenly cooled off? But i trust ozo wella he won't utilize his fame now to attract her, get her jealous and drive her interest and curiosity. He will goof!

To be honest, I voted massively for Ozo but I regretted it after he went apolozing to Nengi for receiving a strike. This is me wishing I voted Kiddwaya for his bro code and flirting skills, but it is what it is and what is done is done. If Ozo continues like this over Nengi and never uses his sense I'll play neutral next time cause people I for vote no even dey again.
