8000 stands in 4 plots that will be 2000 crops per plot, the drip tape used will definitely be 30cm to accommodate such plant density,it will be a tight fit ,I have a feeling that 2000 crops per plot is too much,I am gathering up research to plunge into tomatoes by January
That is exactly what I used, 30cm. Though I don't advice starters to use such spacing. You can only use such spacing if you really understand the production well and put certain into place (proper bed spacing, meticulous monitoring of the plants, proper application of farm inputs amongst many others)

plus can you give us a work through through the or step by step of all the processes involved, the chemical needed, when & how frequent to apply, what rate to apply and when to transplant for the pepper and tomatoe planting please. Thanks for your selfless service, well done
Thank you.
It is actually a quite long process.
The nursery is to be maintained for about 25 days, after which is to be transplanted to field.
It should take about 60 to 70 days before maturity/ripening of the fruits.
You will need insecticides, fungicides, nematicides, and some fertilizers along the journey.
The chemicals should be applied at least 5 days interval. If well managed and with good seeds, you can harvest for at least 6 weeks.

Pls note, I have only tried to summarize the whole thing. It may not be easy to give a detail of everything in just one post, you can however reach me on 07068990624, I believe I can help you better on day by day process.

Did you attend a special training on Tomato cultivation? or you learnt on the job? I can confirm you are well rounded.
I am a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, where I studied Botany. Beyond that, I've tried to give myself to more of work on the field than just on the papers.

Wilt diseases are usually soil borne. Foliar sprays can't control them. So I'm wondering if u treated the soil or if the seed is resistant to fusarium wilt and co.
.

One major cause of wilt is dehydration, so ensuring the soil is not overtly dry is one of the ways of taking care of wilt. Meanwhile, the seeds I use are largely resistant to fusarium wilt (well, I also did not experience verticillum wilt too anyway).

Well-done Mr Obatobi1.

Please what is the average number of tomato fruit expected per plant and what is the plant's lifespan?

Thanks in advance for the answers.
Thank you.

1.If well managed and with hybrid seeds, you should have 20 to 25 fruits (at least) or about 1.5 kilogram per plant/stand.

2. Again, if well managed, your tomato plant should last at least 5 months.

Now, please note the phrase "well managed", because there's a lot of things involved in that word. The success of the project depends largely on it!!

That is, u apply it as soil drench?
Yes, the wetting. But the fungicide application is by foliar spray

This is great. How do u tackle wilting disease?
.

There's drip irrigation system in place and I apply fungicides rightly and promptly when needed.

And pepper coming out too. Large fruits and very hot.
The stew made with just a few fruits came out really hot and peppery.

Dear readers,

I must commend the OP for taking a very bold step considering this is like his first major project.
There is always a trade-off between getting things right and profitability. I would prefer the OP way of getting things right first and later talk of profitability in subsequent projects. But from my observation, the OP has done the needful especially in terms of mulching which most farmers usually overlook.
I will like to advise fellow farmers to also implement this mulching technique. I will also try it in my dry season ugu farm as it will go a long way in surface water conservation in my swamp farming.
I wish the OP a bountiful harvest.
Emmanuel.
.

Thank you very much. In the last one week, I have sold over fifty crates, which means I have made over quarter of the expenses already.

I can tell that employing the best agronomic practices and following them up religiously, you are definitely sure of making profits. My target is to at least make up with the cost incurred in setting up the place (which I am definitely near that already), subsequent productions is simply profits upon profits.

Also, it is not my first production, but the first on this very land.

I think #950k for 4 plots of drip irrigated tomatoes farm is a bit costly, considering we have installed drip on a similar aize tomatoes farm and it took 2:rolls of 1500 meters +: accessories@#70k per roll to complete the job(#70k ×2 =#140k + #20-30k PVC mainline and other expenses), ridging #24k ,#6k per plot, clearing #20k,manure one tipper #25k,fertilizer and agrochemicals #150k,staking /bamboo #40k, weeding #14-15k,I can't fully recall the tiny expense but this are the main money guzzlers
Did you consider the plastic mulch, the cost of seeds (I used hybrid seeds), the cost of the nursery (seedling tray, cocoa peat, nursery house construction) and a host of other expenses that could be very difficult to account for.....not forgetting wages of worker. I can tell you the expenses is more than what is mentioned earlier
